All bulb collections are pre-planted and pre-chilled in 8" pots, ready to bloom in succession after about 3 weeks. A reusable embossed tin basket arrives with the December shipment to use with the subsequent bulb gardens.

My mother received these bulbs each month for six months and loved them! She always made a point of showing me the latest set of blossoms and has replanted the bulbs in the yard for subsequent flowering. This has been a yearly gift now for three years and counting.

The person to whom I gave this as a Christmas gift was absolutely thrilled with the six months of bulbs and I received a call from her every single month as the shipments arrived. Six months seemed to be exactly the right length of time for a subscription.
I would suggest that you add a slip to each shipment telling the names of the bulbs enclosed because she did not recognize some of the flowers and wanted to let me know what they were.

We have sent these flowers to our mother several times in the past few years -- she loves getting the 'touch of spring' to brighten long Maine winters. She delights in handing out the bulbs once the plants are gone.
