It's a fact that gardeners sometimes work in the rain, but you'll splash around cheerfully in our fun Wellington-style rain boots. A cut above ordinary rain boots, they have a tough natural rubber outer, quick-drying fabric liner, removable insole and deep-lugged soles for traction on slippery surfaces. They're approximately 10-1/2" high, a comfortable 2-3" below the knee on most people.

I bought the Wellies for my wife to use when she works with animals in a variety of locations-many which are wet.
My wife loves the design and that they keep her feet dry-which is a boon to her.
Although she does like `em, she has two areas of concern:
1. She struggles with trying to fit the legs of her pants inside the boots; she thinks that the top boot area should've been expanded to make it easier to put the pants legs inside of the boots.
2. The interior of the boots at the ankle are very loose; my wife says that "it's too roomy and should be tighter."

These boots are perfect for working in the garden. I was ruining pairs of shoes wearing them to till, weed, and dig. I really like that these don't have a deep tread which holds dirt when I come back into the house. Enough tread to be effective, though. My son complains that they smell like rubber, but I don't care...I'm not down there sniffing my boots! Really nice for "seconds."

These boots are so cute! They fit well in the foot area, but the upper part is tight. It's very hard to stuff pant legs into the boots. However, these boots will certainly come in handy during those soggy gardening days. I chose the tomato print, because we grow many tomato plants to make our own salsa, canned tomatoes, stewed tomatoes and spaghetti sauce.

Because I have rhuematoid arthritis in my hands, I need footwear which I can easily slip on & off and I have had trouble pulling these boots on, especially as they are high on my legs. They are narrow through the calf & do not fit over my garden pants.

I was prepared to pay full price for these when I saw them in the catalog. Imagine my delight when the online order gave me 50% off because "some flaws which don't affect usage" showed up in the batch. I don't see any flaws, but even if I did, the flaws would soon be obscured by mud.

Just used these for the 1st time since ordering - VERY rainy day, but I arrived at work with dry feet & a smile on my face. I realized that I'll need warm socks on chilly days as my feet got cold. The wellies have removable insoles which is great for cleaning, but they shifted underfoot as I walked - may need to add some double-sided tape. Got lots of comments on the cheery pattern (hens & roosters), & enjoyed stomping in puddles as I walked to the bus!

I was in the market for some wellies for the yard and saw these in the catalog. They are so cute and cheerful, much better than boring black or green. The price was right, so I got a pair for myself and one for my sister. We both love them! They are described as factory seconds, but there are no easily discernable flaws in the patterns (tomato for me and chickens for her.) I live in upstate NY & it is now mud season. It is also the time for spring clean-up. These boots are a necessity for me when I'm raking and cutting brush. I also walk the trails through fields and woods with my dogs. Wherever I go and whatever I do, I need boots. These keep me dry and clean and they are easy on and off so I can slip out of them on the porch & no mud gets tracked thru the house. I love the way they look - the chickens and bright yellow are fun. I've only worn them for a couple of days so I can't speak for long range durability but they seem like they will hold up just fine.

I own chickens and love anything having to do with chickens so these were a must have. They are comfortable and fit fine, but there is not enough extra room to fit wide pant legs into them. I ordered the factory irregulars but the flaws weren't very noticable. There were a couple scuffs in the yellow and one distorted rooster. Overall I am very, very happy with these boots!
