This hat is wonderful, EXCEPT I can't use it on windy Kansas days. It needs a chin strap with an adjustable bolo type slide.

All that it's advertised to be - very rugged and comfortable. One con: The adjustable brim was a big selling point for me, but it's very difficult to adjust it to the way I want it - bend down one part, and another pops up. Otherwise, very happy with it in sun, rain, etc.

I wear this hat when I work outside in the hot Southern sun. It shades my neck, face and ears and is comfortable. When it rains, it does not leak. My grandson wears it, sits on it, and otherwise abuses it. And it comes back the way it was. The only "con" is that it gets a little hot, but by the time that happens I need a break anyway. I think it will last for years.

Great fit -- most hats are too big for me. Durable for outdoor activities. If my hat looked like the one in the photo, it would be perfect. The patches are unattractive and detract from the look of the hat. Overpriced due to ugly patches.

This hat is comfortable and stylish. It has a very "broken in" look and feel, because it's made from recycled canvas truck tarps. Each hat is one of a kind (mine did not look quite as nice as the picture, but that's ok... they are all different!) Mine has a patch on the front. The patch is made from the same material as the hat, so it looks like it belongs there. I plan to take this hat hiking, camping, walking in the city, as well as working in the yard.

The only con I can think of is, that since they are one of a kind, it may not look exactly like the one pictured.

The only problem I have with this product is that they do not offer a size small. I saw their size chart and measured my head and I am right at the smallest measurement so it fits but not snug enough. If there is more than a slight breeze, this hat is flying off my head. I hope I can some how shrink the thing.

It looked like it had been run over by a 100 herds of cattle with oily feet... not the rustic look of the picture. I wanted something as described - it doesn't need anymore character. I was very disappointed in the fit... not enough depth for the head and the huge patch ... looked like a hat from Dogpatch, USA. I am a gardner and could use the hat described. Oh well.
