Planted these around the car engine where the mousies love to set up house...seemed to have worked but they must be kept fresh. We found shredded product after the pleasant (to humans) smell faded so it worked up to a point. I immediately ordered more and even gave some away as gifts! Love the fact it is not toxic and while I would not use them as drawer sachets it is nice to know I could!

I had high hopes for these- I placed one inside a cabinet where I saw mouse droppings, and another inside a drawer. Well, I guess my mice like peppermint because one sachet got [*] on and the other got chewed up. Maybe you need to put several in one spot so the smell overpowers them.....???

In a two week period I caught 7 mice on sticky pads in the cupboard under my kitchen sink. When the box of Mouse Magic arrived I put two down in the same area. The mice were not deterred and they bit into the packet! I called my exterminator who explained that the sticky pads he had put down in the basement were all filled with dead mice which is why the mice came upstairs to the kitchen. He put down fresh sticky pads and I have caught one mouse in the basement since he was here.

Seems to work in an area where we have had mice. Of course, just because you don't see the mouse that doesn't prove it isn't there. However, I have not seen mouse droppings lately. We used it in a downstairs den and storage rooms

We had a mouse in the kitchen cabinet. Instead of running out to get a trap, I decided to put a dish of Mouse Magic in the cabinet and we never saw the mouse or traces of it again.
It really works!

I figured that Mouse Magic would not be completely effective on day two when I found mouse scat on top of the pouch (perhaps a mouse's product rating). It works better with the area oversaturated with the product, but to a level that is about to repel people.

This product works for me and the scent is, as others noted, very pleasant. The only problem is I find it works best in small areas like drawers, closets or behind appliances (places where the cats can't get the mice), is not effective in large basements, garages, etc. I think that the scent and therefore, ability to repell mice begins to wane after 3 weeks, so the product must be replaced regularly and more often than claimed. I start using this about 10 days before holidays and other gatherings to insure no suprises for guests.

:( the mice ate it, made a nest with the outside packet. It smelled good to me, but the mice liked it too :(I was so dissapointed. I have tried everything humane, but am going to get violent now. They are out of hand and doing damage. I hope this product works for others.

The areas where we needed it to work were probably too large. We have a very large, older home with multiple doors and many possible entries for the mice. We were trying to discourage the mice from entry into particular areas. It was not completely effective in this goal. It is however very safe to use around pets and children (at least in our situation -- read the directions on this subject!)and very pleasant smelling. Depending on their circumstances, I would recommend the product to friends. I do feel it helped to direct the mice toward traps which we did ultimately have to set to rid ourselves of the problem.

After evidence that mice had been in our kitchen drawers (EWWWW!!) I strategically placed the pouches and so far there have been no more nasty leavings (YEAH!!) Time will tell if this is a permanent solution. The pouches smell great and are supposedly safe.

The first time I put 2 packets out in basement I did not catch any mice for about 1 week, then I started catching mice again in traps so I put out 1 more packet, still caught a mouse, put out 4th packet and still caught a mouse. This was over a period of about 3 weeks. I am not sure if I would try this product again or not. I have not used the outside Mouse Magic.

i put the packets around where I usually saw signs of mice, and in spite of cold weather that usually brings mice inside I have not seen any droppings. Despite the fact that no food is left where they can reach it the mice come inside for warmth and wander around

I have inside domestic birds which create an interesting place for mice in the winter. Placing these packets around my kitchen and a few other strategic places has caused an instant reduction in mouse sitings. I like the smell, Apparently, they don't.

Placed 4 of these in mouse traffic areas in my basement. I sat and watched as a mouse ran over 2 of these while getting to it's hideout. These
have not detered my mouse population in the week I've placed them. I would consider these rather useless and I'm going back to standard traps.

It has a short range -- we needed one on the floor of our pantry closet and one on a shelf halfway up, but the mice are gone. Although my chocolate lab is an excellent mouser.

I put it out around my mom's potted plants on her patio. Hopefully, it will discourage the ground squirrels who constantly dig in her plants.

Smells great & did add freshness to my basement, but I think I would need to order 2-3 to be effective. Much better than using dryer sheets I think--safer for environment! But my cats still bring up mice--old house, we'll never win! I save on cat toys!

Unfortunately, the product didn't have the strong mint smell it usually has and I found two mice in traps next to the mint packets the next morning. I was disappointed!

We had a mouse that lived in our shed all winter. He was a tiny little thing and I did not have the heart to evict him since he wasn't hurting anything. But once spring came along it was time to start planting my garden and the shed needed to be cleaned so he had to go. It was either set a humane trap and find him a new home, or try Magic Mouse to see if he would leave on his own. We placed one packet in the 10x12 building and we haven't seen him or his family since. I would highly recommend them for outdoor buildings, not sure I could stand them indoors as they do have a very strong smell.

I put 2 bags in the drop-down ceiling of a basement bedroom where mice party regularly. I left a trap as well and so far no mice! The smell is strong so I would remove the bags before having anyone stay in the room overnight. If I still haven't caught any mice after a month of use, I'll remove the trap and just use these bags.

We are trying to rid our attic of pesky mice; traps are just too awful to use. We placed 2 of the 4 packets from a box of Mouse Magic (when we opened the packets we realized that all 4 would have had too strong a smell) and are waiting to see if this will do the trick. The smell is not unpleasant, but initially it is strong. The packets are very neat and easy to use.

I placed the packets in areas-mostly in the garage -where the field mice come in. So far I have no tell tale signs of them in the garage. I'm hoping tjis will be enough to keep them out of the house.

Product does seem to reduce mouse presence but they do not all go away even in a small confined area. Smell fades quickly but initiallly is strong. It is very difficult to get rid of mice because they relocate and return. When people and pets share the same living area, one cannot oversaturate due to odor.
