    These hard-to-find wedge placemats work beautifully on our oval-shaped table, and the cranberry color looks great in our dining room. We use the placemats for every day family meals.

    One drawback: Though we wash them in cold water on the gentle cycle and line dry, there has been some shrinkage.This doesn't matter much to us, but it might to others.

    I have a round table in the family room and use it for casual meals. Regular placements don't fit and these are fine. The garnet color is also one of the colors in the rug, so they look like they were made for this room

    Bought 2 sets after finally finding them in this catalog. Use every day. Only complaint is that, being reversible, they have no backing to help prevent slipping. Need to use a tablecloth to keep them in place.

    These are great for round tables. The colors are great. The napkins have a problem with staining from messy food but with work they can clean up fairly well. The shrinkage in the mats is a problem but I found if you strech them and dry them on a rack the shrinkage is not as bad, this is one drawback to this product

    I really like the neutral color of the placemats and napkins. The quality of the placemats seems a little better than that of the napkins. They look good and serve the purpose well (fitting on a smaller sized round table). My only complaint is the one placemat I washed (gentle, warm water cycle) and air-dried shrunk and wrinkled -- noticeably different now than the other 3 that I did not wash. I'd recommend but with caveat not to wash. Not sure how many people would want cloth placemats you can't launder.
