We've only had our Aerogarden since Christmas, so it'a a little early to tell about longevity. The seedligs are growing at an amazing rate, but seed germination seems to be a bit of a problem. I was a little worried that nothing was going to come up in pod #2, but it finally did after about 3 weeks. I'm anxious to try the tomatoes!

I planted the seed pods right away and now they are coming up. It is very easy to keep up, just add water when needed and nutrient tablets every 2 weeks. The lights also help the plants I have next to the AeroGraden.

The Aerogarden 6 works as advertised. Living at 8000 ft elevation with snow on the ground 5 months a year, the ability to grow fresh vegetables inside is a pleasure. The unit is attractive to look at, with beautiful lighting and growing plants. I find the noise of the air pump and airstone annoying. I have an open kitchen, dining, living floor plan and have the Aerogarden on the kitchen/dining divider counter. I enjoy looking at it, but am considering moving it to laundry room because of the noise.

I have been very pleased with my new Aerogarden. It was very easy to set up, and within a few days I had hopeful sprouts poking out of their pods. My children enjoy watching our plants grow and seeing the roots in the water below. The only drawback I see is that it didn't come with the trellises needed to grow tall plants, and each time you want to plant something new, you have to buy the pods from the manufacturer (at a high price, of course!). Not an economical way to grow your veggies, but a very interesting one! And as an added bonus, the bright light that the Aerogarden uses has helped to fight the winter blahs at our house.

Wow this product is amazing! The tomato plants have sprouted in a few days, and boy do they grow! While they're growing, you can use the light the product gives off for starting seedlings and the like.

The design looks nice too! Sleek and techy looking. Plus, the simple reminders help me remember not to kill the plants!

FIRST, I WANT TO SAY I AM SO HAPPY I GOT 2 AEROGARDENS FROM GARDENERS.COM, I could not find it anywhere at the price I paid here when it was on sale. PLEASE BRING IT BACK AT THE SAME PRICE AGAIN!!!!

I have Mega Cherry Tomatoes in one and Letuce Greens in the other. All are sprouted now without the need of the domes in less than a week. The next crop will be Garden Starter Kit and Herbs in the Master Gardeners Kit. Everything so far is GREAT. I wish the prices for the seeds and accessories where cheaper. More seed choices would be great too.

This is my second AeroGarden purchase and the first from Gardeners Supply. I bought this one to grow cherry tomatoes to add to the salad greens currently growing in my first AeroGarden (Pro200) that I purchased directly from the manufacturer.Product specifics: same easy setup, quality packaging, excellent directions as my first AG. HOWEVER, while a Pro200 is virtually silent, the different type of pump in the AG6 Elite+ makes a fairly loud hum. In fact it is noisier than my dishwasher, even tho the dishwasher is closer than the AeroGarden. Various AG blogs compare the hum to that produced by a large aquarium.That said, price-wise, this was an excellent purchase and much cheaper than my first AG Pro200 - I just may need to move it to its own room!Ordering from Gardeners.com was once again easy [...] Great job Gardeners Supply!

Hopefully the plants will grow as pictured. Having a difficult time resetting the 16 hours that the light remains on. You have to do it at the time you want it to shut off - but that's an hour after we go to bed so I have to wait til we are up really late one night.

I like the growing of plants in the house in winter. The lights ar comforting and needed for the lack of light in winter. It gives the home a warm feeling. Plus it is useful for growing vesitables and flowers indors in winter. I liked it so well I have another one on order, hope it gets here soon.

My chives and other seed pods germinated AOK...I was surprised at the fast growth....I clip herbs as I want them ...Way Cool grower.!!!
Keep the water level max and you should have no problems....

I love my aerogarden! I didn't know when i bought it how much I would use the herbs, since I am only a casual cook, but I used them all the time, even sometimes making a whole meal with just the herbs and some chicken. When the pump got noisy, aerogardens customer service replaced it for free, and included a free seed kit. They also guarantee their seeds, if they don't all grow, they will replace what doesn't grow. The only con is that it was too tall to sit in my kitchen as they advertise, so I have it on a table in my dining room instead. It is agreat conversation piece, and very useful.

I've grown several different type plants in my 2 Aerogardens. My favorite are the herbs. They are beautiful, smell great and oh, you can cook with them too :-) Cherry tomatoes were fun to grow too. I do keep extra seeds on hand just in case something doesn't sprout. The system is easy to use and easy to clean and replant.

The aerogarden is very attractive. With the sale, I plan to buy another from this site! The tomatoes are growing fine, and my friends seem to love it! It's well designed, and the product grows things really fast (compared to my garden dirt). The only problem about it is that the plants drink water so fast! Expect to fill the watering chamber every 3 days...

I was really excited about purchasing this so that I could cook with fresh herbs all winter long. However it has been over 1 month and only 3 out of the six herb plants are growing. And those took about 3 weeks to begin growing instead of the 5-10 day germination period that was stated. We have followed all of the directions very carefully but just cant seem to get the other plants to grow!!
