I bought these scrubbers to help with cleaning my pots and pans. When it comes to things with edges (like pots for instance), I don't find these work very well and I go back to my cleaniing brushes (especially when it comes to the tight spaces...it just can't get in there very well). For flat items (like plates) it does work better. I also ordered the refills and wasn't smart enough to put them in plastic bags. They ended up getting wet and expanded, which is going to make it harder to 'refill' on the handle.

I use this to clean cast iron cookware, which should be done without soap/detergent and is thus dependent upon friction alone. This product is perfectly suited to the task.

It doesn't quite get into all the crooks & crannies of my pots so it doesn't work quite as well as I had hoped. It is not quite flexible enough.
