    Comments about Ecospheres:

Our Ecosphere is a fixture on our coffee table and makes a great conversation piece with the neighborhood kids. Everyone is amazed at how the shrimp survive 'with no air'. The no maintenance aspect is the best.

    Comments about Ecospheres:

We were given one of these by a drug rep who frequents the animal hospital at which I work. We have it about 10 feet from a window, on the non-window side of a larger display, so it doesn't get much sunlight at all. I initially had it closer, but the algae grew way too fast. It's a really amazing piece. We've had it for probably a year. All shrimp (which we named Larry, Curly, Moe and Shremp) still kickin'!

I've had mine for over three years and it is still going strong! Be careful not to let too much light penetrate or you will get lots of algae growing on the sides (which means more cleaning for you!)

    Comments about Ecospheres:

I kept this out of direct sunlight. Got it in December and by June it had very green water and cloudy. So for the money it was pretty for only a short period of time. Waste of money. It was fun to look at in the beginning, but not sure how to keep the algea down. Can barely see the shrimp now. Was never in direct sunlight.
