I purchased two of these chairs to use in our family room in front of the TV and fireplace, and have been very happy with the purchase. I had looked for a few months for floor level chairs, and these were by far the most comfortable. If you like to hang out on the carpet, these chairs are great. The foam is thick (about 4 inches), the back angle is adjustable, and the chair rotates, so overall they are very comfortable, great for watching movies. The covering material is fairly substantial, so I expect these chairs to last a few years at least. The only thing I don't like is that you can only adjust the back angle click by click. If you pull up the back up too far, then you have to get off the chair to pull the chair back all the way forward, then it will release all the way back to the floor, then you can pull it back up to a proper position. Other than that, these chairs are great. Due to their substantial construction, they take up a lot of room. Make sure that you have a sofa or bed that with 5 or 6 inches of clearance underneath to store the chair under or in back of when it is not in use.

I use this product to watch TV from the floor. Very comfortable viewing. The adjustable positions are easy to change. I could see a video game player liking this chair. The only draw back for me is my dogs are big shedders and the material will not release pet fur so well. Still worth the purchase.

The 5 position recline option is great, as is the swivel base, which is missing on other floor chairs similar to these. I bought 2 for a daughter in a studio apartment and 2 for our TV room. Storage of these chairs was important in the apartment, although they are too thick to fit under most couches or beds as advertised in the listing. Cannot attest yet to durability, but they seem well made.

We love these floor chairs! We bought two for our sons for Christmas so we haven't had them very long but they've gotten much use! My boys use them as video game chairs and they are completely happy. The seat and back cushions are VERY thick so they don't go flat under you after you've been sitting a while. Not only do they use these chairs for playing video games but they'll put them in their flat position and lay on them while watching a movie.
I (their mother) like them because they look nice in our family room. They are not too big like some official gaming chairs you see. They look more like a nice piece of furniture. Now when we have friends over we actually have two nice floors chairs for them to sit in rather than sitting directly on the floor.
We purchased the red ones. The red is a darker, almost cranberry, red. It's a great color for our room; not too bright; more sophisticated looking.
I would buy these chairs again. I think the price was especially reasonable compared to other floor chairs and video gaming chairs that I researched online.

My two teenage sons use these chairs for playing video games which, I will admit, is MANY hours during the week. The only complaint they have voiced is the fact that their "butt" starts to go numb after sitting in the chair for a few hours. It seems that the padding is not of a high quality, which is evident after pressing on it or actually sitting on it (myself) for the duration of a movie. Otherwise, no complants.

I purchased this product as an alternative to a video rocker. It looked more useful as it had more support and it swiveled. It is moderately comfortable,except was very disappointing when I got it as the material that it was covered with had a "greasy chemical" feel to it. (MADE IN [*]) I have to cover them with large towels as I am afraid of the material touching any skin. I would ask that any United States retailers list where their products are made as I would have thought twice about buying this product if I knew where it was manufactured. I try to purchase items made in the USA to support our workers.

Nice looking and comfortable. We purchased ours for use with video games, but also love using it in the living room near the fireplace while watching TV. Light enough to easily pick up and move. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the base could be a little heavier, but that said, it is not really tippy unless the back is very reclined (which we rarely do).

My videogame-playing son loves the chair! And I like the blue color - it's a little darker than it looked on my monitor. It's easy to operate and feels solid.

I didn't give it 5 stars because when the chair arrived it felt like it had some kind of coating/spray all over it (could feel it on my hands but had no odor). It has dissipated over the couple of weeks we've had it, but it made me wonder what chemicals we were unwittingly exposed to.

Very comfortable. Should have bought two. Great at home, in the yard, or on camping trips. Many places where a cmfortable seat is not usually found. Only disadvantage is somewhat heavy and hard to move alone because it tends to lock into position and become unwieldy. Small price to pay for a really comfortable seat that can be used in a great many applications.

The kids Love this product! It has survived multiple positions from my 200 pound teenager. He ignores my warnings about breaking the hinge/position, and the chair has withstood his abuse! He wishes it could rock, but then it wouldn't be able to swivel. It would be great if it could do both!

This is a great seat for playing on the floor with my 3 year old son. I am at his level, but not sitting on the cold tiles! The swivel feature is convenient, and the chair can be easily moved around the room. I do find that the fuzzy material traps dog hair, and would prefer an upholstery that could be cleaned more easily.

We've been surprised at the degree of satisfaction we have with this chair. Our son is no longer small enough to fit on our couch with us to sit or watch TV, and this was a great solution. The memory foam renders the seat comfortable, and it's substantial enough that it feels like a chair or lounger - not some vinyl rocker thing that a 12-year old sits in to play video games in his/her bedroom. It's big enough that it's a little cumbersome to think you'll just fold it up and tuck it in a closet when not in use, but it's light enough to move over to a corner, out of the way, without straining yourself. We thought the price a little high when ordering, but we're pleased with the purchase now that it's part of part of our life.

Within five minutes after opening the box, the whole family, including our Labrador Retriever, wanted to sit on the Lounger. My husband has a bad back and neck and the cushy support of the Lounger was a welcome relief from our regular couch. The only problem with the Lounger is getting up off the floor. It can be a little awkward. I'm very happy that I bought the Lounger and will even consider giving it as a gift to others.

We recently purchased the floor loungers to use as "The Teacher's Seats," in a learning circle during a mindfulness retreat. The teachers loved them because of the cushy comfort, and the ability to swivel allowed them to easily see each student in the circle.

Some of the students tested the loungers and have since purchased their own!

Lumbar support is poor however, so for long-time sitting you may want to bring along something to support your low back.

Since this is a new purchase we don't really know about the floor lounger's durability.

I got this for my husband for Christmas. You know how it is - I see something that seems like it will completely fit into a habit he already has, but he never uses it? Not in this case!
He likes to sit on the floor of the TV room, like a Roman Emperor. In winter, he plants himself in front of the space heater! But then his back hurts and he's back on the couch (and asleep).
This chair is absolutely perfect for him. He can rotate around to look at what he wants to; he can sit upright or set it all the way back; he spends SO MUCH time in that chair. Plus, it's attractive. I got the red velvet, which matches our Oriental rug and burgundy couch very nicely.
It's also really handy for when guests come over. I'm thinking of buying some more. They would be easy to store when I want more space, and easy to bring out when I need them as they both fold up AND are very light weight. In fact, I'm amazed at how light weight this chair is given its incredible stability.
I recommend it! I imagine kids playing video games would love this, too.

We have floor-sitters in our family, and we've always kept big floor pillows just for them. I bought this chair on a whim, thinking it might replace the pillows, but wasn't sure how well it would be received. We find we love it, though -- it's that comfortable, and it gives great back support, too. When we watch movies as a family, this chair is the sought-after spot. The back can easily be reclined to any position, and with your feet stretched out, it's as comfortable as a recliner without taking up the space. You can pick it up and place it anywhere you want very easily, too. My husband even reclines it flat and takes naps on it! It's maybe not for someone with just-so decor.....but it's not unattractive, and fits in OK in less formal rooms.
