These fit perfectly under my 24x18 Boos cutting boards and butcher blocks. They keep the wood elevated off a possibly wet and unsanitary countertop. The rubber also provides a little bit of shock absorbence to the cutting surface.

As long as there was adaquate support underneath these grids would carry many hundreds of lbs. and they are rubber so they will not absorb liquids. I havn't seen residential grids of this quality before. These will work very well with Gardner's boot trays but may need to be trimmed a little for size.

This grid is perfect with the boot tray. The debris falls off into the tray and the shoes have a chance to dry off. I use a tray with a grid in it by my back door and another one inside the house. It has cut down on dirty floors.

We are using this with the small tray that I bought. It works perfectly. We are currently using it for pet food and water dishes and it really keeps the pets neat. I am planning to buy another tray and hopefully install these at all the doors and continue using for pet food. We have wood floors all over the house and this keeps the mess off the floor plus helps to prevent mildew or rotted wood.

Got a set of two trays and inserts. One tray with insert sits in the garage, and gives our boots a great airing. The other tray holds two cat food bowls and a large drinking water fountain perfectly, catching all the spills our rambunctious cats can generate. The other insert sits outside our back door, for last minute garden scrapings where a tray doesn't matter. A bargain for three uses!

I used these inserts in the boot trays as drip pans for my wintering orchids in my house. They're durable, lightweight, and easy to clean. They keep the plants in the pots stable and the water drips to the bottom to humidify the air.

I will use these in the mini greenhouse I just purchased. I will place them on top of boot trays which will catch water as it flows from the plant pots and the grids will keep the plants out of any excess drainage water and also provide humidity.

I put one in my boot tray, it really helps get the salty/dirty water off your soles and speeds drying. Once our temps warm up, I'll move my boot tray to put my orchids in. I can now use that tray all year - I'll get another tray. (They give you two grids.)

I thought the boot trays with grids are great. However, the small only holds two pair of boots and the large holds about four. It would be wonderful if you made a medium that held three pair of boots........most boot trays sold hold three pair of boots.

I was a bit disappointed when I put them inside the jumbo boot tray just to find that they didn't fill the entire tray. I'm keeping them, but may need to find something else to cover the bottom of the jumbo boot tray. I would recommend this to a friend, but with the caveat about the jumbo tray issue.

I bought the grids that fit inside of the boot trays, to be sure that the melting snow would go off of the boots, and into the trays. Again, we haven't had snow yet, but it is pretty obvious how these will work. Cleaning them will probably be a bit messy, but that is far better than having a mess daily by my back door.

We use these grids inside the small trays, right by our back door, for wet shoes and boots. The grids are great because they elevate footwear, allowing the soles to dry. These aren't cheap but look a heck of a lot better than newspapers and old mats! And they're easy to clean.

I bought two small trays and two rubber grids to use at entry ways during muddy and snowy seasons. I have never encountered a more attractive way than this duo to corral boots in the mudroom (or garage)and to prevent mud and drips from marring the rest of the house. I also use one set for a large plant that has the habit of leaking through its pot every time I water it ... now there's no more mess! My only complaint was with the rubbery smell of the grid that is used inside the tray; however, the odor seems to be abating and will probably be unnoticeable in another month. Thanks for a truly great product!

I purchased 2 small boot trays and used these inserts inside. One is on my back porch where I place my muck shoes before coming in the house. The other is in the kitchen where my husband insists of leaving his boots. They work great - catch any snow, water or mud that accumulates on our boots.

when i originally saw these , they were shown for boot trays. i have orchids that need good drainage. i ordered 2 trays and grids. it is wonderful, i can water my orchids and the water drains down to the grids which hold it for humidity, but keep the roots out of the water. no more taking the pots to the sink, watering them and waiting for them to drain. also, they are nice enough looking to use in any room in the house.

These mats fit the English boot trays which are perfect for depositing muddy or snowy boots in an entryway or hallway. We have a small tray in our garage, a large tray by our back door, and another small tray by our front door! The mats are easy to clean and fit well in the trays. We have mats in all of the trays. The large tray does requires two mats as stated in the description, but they come in sets of two (which is nice). The mats are indispensable for lifting the boots off the tray and allowing them to dry or drain. Super product!!

This product is great for snowy, muddy boots in a climate that produces both in several seasons! It really helps keep our floors cleaner. I have one tray by the front door for guests and one for us by the back door where we come in most of the time. The trays are a bit pricey and not very attractive (more of a practical, industrial strength look), but they work and that's what's most important to me. Could they be offered in different colors? Seems frivolous, but colors might appeal to more people.

These make the boot trays really functional. Years ago I tried a similar system by using kitty litter boxes by all my doors. While I was able to color coordinate a little better, there was no getting around the fact that everyone knew they were litter boxes. They also were not nearly as sturdy as these trays and mats.

I used the rubber grids with the English Boot Tray for my Orchids. Eliminates the problem of over watering and root rot. Plus, the water that drains into the trays provide add humidity for my plants.

Not the most attractive, but blends well with the boot trays, as they're the same color. Great at keeping shoes dry, rather than having them sit in water in the boot trays. Only slightly difficult to clean in the negative spaces, if caked on mud, etc. finds its way in the spaces. A spray with the hose usually clean it, though.

i used the grids with the boot trays for my orchids. they need humidity, but don't like to sit in water. this system takes care of both needs. i can water the orchids, water drains thru pots and into tray while the pots sit on the grids, out of the water.

I use these mats in conjunction with the plastic boot trays - however I use them for sitting flats of seedlings on top of in the boot trays for good drainage. The rubber is really stinky when you initially unpack it, but eventually the smell dissipates. Overall a very good product.

I ordered the rubber grids to fit inside the rubber trays, as suggested in the catalog and online, but they were too big for the trays. My husband cut them off with his circular saw, so they now work, but it was disappointing. I called and told someone so I hope they will change the catalog listing.
