I ordered one because it was the perfect accent for my 1/2 circle shaped patio. When I saw it assembled and in place, I liked it so much that I ordered a second one. So now my 1/2 circle patio is a conversational nook in my backyard.
Assembly was straight forward and I liked the solidness of the piece. Looks great after the recommended teak oil was added.

This bench sits in our front yard in an oval shaped patio area. Some neighbors asked if it was custom made for the spot. It is a very attractive, comfortable bench. The assembly instructions were clear and I had no difficulties following them. However, I did need to countersink a couple of the seat screws since the screws were too short. I applied the Penofin Protective Oil to help keep the bench's color and to protect it from our dry climate and afternoon sun. Although I needed to reapply the oil after five months, it has maintained its color and is holding up well.

I researched the item before purchasing it.
Knowing of the assembly problems which seem
to accompany it. I was prepared upon the items arrival. We had only a very small onetime event in assembly. Other wise the bench went together well.

It is as advertised. Well constructed.

The bench should last for many, many years to come. With proper maintenance.

My wife loves it.

I was looking for a unique bench to enjoy the morning sun in my Front yard, (yes, California homeowner with limited space) It is perfect. It adds warmth, beauty, and charm to our home. I was a bit leary to purchase after reading some of the negative feedback. But after looking around for other of similar style and quality, I decided to take my chances with this one, because I could not find any other within the price range. All were 1,000 or more. WE HAD NO PROBLEM WITH ASSEMBLY!!! Everything lined up perfectly. The screws were the correct size. I would buy again!

Considering the price, the company should put a little more effort into the assembly instructions. I am very intuitive, but otherwise the instructions were light on detail, and provided few words - mostly pictures. The four back pieces don't align evenly and tiny gaps are present that would drive a perfectionist crazy. I recommend that the company take the time to attach a light paper wrap with the part number identified to each part. The symmetrical nature of the parts and curves make identifying them a burdensome task.

The bench was easy to put together but on the front seat when I tried to use the screws that came with the bench they were to short. I had to go out and by the right length. Also the bar at the front of the bench would not stay in the hole that was provided. I had to glue them in.

This is an very attractive bench and fits well with our other curved lawn elements. Yet the assembly was very difficult due to the screws being too short and too small for some predrilled holes. Assembly directions were good. It seems some parts must have been mismatched for the assembly. It took a whole day to get it together and you need an electric drill to make modifications. The neighbors immediately noticed the bench and liked the look --

Bench became an immediate focal point in the garden and invites visitors to sit and enjoy the plants and trees for a spell. Very solid. Has become the place for visitors to sit and have a picture taken when at our home. Applied the protective Penofin oil but it needs to be reapplied more frequently than suggested to maintain the color.

the assembly instructions could've been a bit clearer, i would have preferred if all the pieces had been milled together (the back comes in 4 sections, and the sanding-down of the corners of the back vary significantly from one section to the next). however, it is a comfortable piece for two people to sit on, and it has quite graceful lines.

My wife chose the bench from your catalog and we are not disappointed with the final product. However, it was not manufactured correctly and it required extra hours of labor and use of my own tools to drill new holes in order to put it together properly. Someone with less woodworking and assembly experience would have permanently damaged it before they could complete assembly.
