    Stress at work, occasional insomnia or just to relax. I take a cotton ball with me that has a few drops of the lavender oil on it to ease stress. I use a few drops on my pillow and on the top sheet when I have difficulty sleeping (usually from stress at work). Both ways are very effective. Love it.

I have used other diffusers with lavender oil previously and find the scent of lavender to be a soothing, calming scent.     Previous containers of lavender oil had an attached cover to the bottle that made it simple to apply a few drops, one at a time, which I apply late in a clothes dryer cycle making for a very pleasant and natural smelling laundry load.

    I bought this because I read that peppermint oil will deter mice, which I have had a problem with in my garage in an old car stored there.

    It seems to work. I put 10 or so drops on a cotton pad in an open old pill bottle and leave 2-3 of the bottles around in the car, 2 inside and 1 in the trunk. So far, so good. I add more oil every 1-2 weeks

    This may seem strange, but I bought the peppermint oil to keep mice out of my kitchen cabinets. With a house over 120 years old you know you're going to get mice, but it got to the point where I couldn't keep anything in my bottom kitchen cabinets. I heard mice don't like the smell of peppermint, so I put a cotton ball in each cabinet with a dab of peppermint oil on it. I "refresh" the peppermint once a month. I admit, I also set traps under my cabinets and caught a few mice. I haven't seen evidence of mice in my cabinets ever since using the peppermint oil, though. The peppermint scent is really strong the first couple of days and can be a bit overpowering, but it's not a bad smell and does lessen over time.

    These oils are the bottled the same as the oils that I have gotten before but I got the rosemary because I didn't like the other scents. I didn't like the rosemary either because it was too pungent. I wish they had more a selection like vanilla, ocean, etc. I also didn't like the design of the bottle. I like the oils with a dropper inside except I have gotten oils for much less than these.
