This blanket is great! Some of the reviews had said it was difficult to use or too heavy. I found that I didn't agree with either. I have a neck & shoulder injury (in which I have to use moist heat neck rap 5 days out of the week) and thought that this is the perfect weight. It's not too light, and its heavy enough to deliver the heat to deep muscles. It's as heavy as the heating blankets that my physical therapist uses. I will be buying more!!

I purchased four of the lap blankets for Christmas gifts, two scented and two unscented. The only feedback I've received is from the recipients of the unscented blankets. Those blankets are much appreciated for the way they keep the chills away (from my dad who has lung cancer and has been undergoing various chemo treatments for over a year) and heat up achy joints (from my husband who has been using the blanket regularly on his shoulders and hips). My husband has been loving the relief he gets and tells me that he has greatly reduced the OTC pain medicine he takes. I'm looking forward to trying out the blanket myself!

My wife has Fybromyalgia, degenerative discs and Chronic Pain Syndrome and has severe trouble with nerves knotting and general pain. The lap blanket is easy to use and soothing to her body and pain areas and lets her function better. The only down side is after a lot of use the seams seem to degenerate and the seed used migrate into pockets that need to be manually moved around to avoid lumping.

I suffer from chronic cervical sponylosis with related refered pain through my thoracic region and scapula. I avoid prescription medications to control the pain as I dont like the effects both long and short term. Warmth is an effective source of relief coupled with relaxation techniques. This blanket is excellent. My only criticism is the weight but I guess that is unavoidable.

We have one dedicated to our two small poodles; they know the microwave and "their" pack. As others have stated, this is a bulky blanket and a pain to heat. It is rather heavy as well. The company advertised that the heat would last 30 minutes and I find it only lasts 10 minutes or so. Feels great for that period of time, but it wastes a lot of time to heat and reheat constantly. Smell is nice.

The concept sounded great. The reality is that it is difficult to heat with all the unfolding and refolding. It is also quite heavy. As a result, I don't use it nearly as much as I thought I would.

It feels great and is bulky to heat up. The lavender scent is too strong. I would buy the unscented next time. Doesn't stay warm long enough.

this wrap felt VERY good but is too heavy, also was hard to keep turning in my microwave as my machine is above my shoulders. Eased my pain, tho', and felt very soothing!
