    It does warm cold feet nicely, but it could use more padding on the top of the feet to keep the heat in. The gel packs are very flimsy and one has to be much too careful in heating them, down to the precise second.

    I read the reviews before buying this product and realized that the inserts would be too small to be effective. So I researched how to make my own inserts with buckwheat hulls or lavender. The foot warmer will be used at my computer this winter and double as a foot rest. I would not have bought it if it wasn't on a fantastic sale. Looking forward to cozy toes!

    I'm trying this foot warmer to help with a nightly muscle-cramp problem that has developed in my legs and feet. So far, it seems to contribute to a better condition in general. The warmth it gives is very mild when I heat the gel-packs according to the enclosed directions. I could wish the gel-packs were a tad bigger; I sort of have to feel around for them a bit when I first settle in, and work them over to the centers of their pockets for even coverage. I also think a larger gel-pack would give a little more warmth. But mild heat is safer anyway, and these are appreciably warm. They retain their temperature for quite some time. All in all, it was a nice deal and it is promoting relaxation in those spastic muscles.

    We are in the midst of a dreadful heat wave so I have not yet felt the need to warm my feet. But to save on heating costs I keep the temperature in my home as low as possible during the winter (in Minnesota), and put on a few layers. Only my feet get cold, and this causes me to turn up the thermostat. I have high hopes for my new foot warmer.

    The product was a gift from my husband because I have cold feet all the time in the winter months. The gel packs do not get hot enough if they are not already warm, therefore do not last the full 30 minutes. The second time you heat them makes them more effective. It is convenient and can be stowed away easily and it is wonderful in the evening to warm my feet so I do not have popsicle toes when we climb into bed. I like it a lot!

    my wife and I both work out side year round and the winters are very cold. I purchased this for my wife for her birthday in July to warm her feet at night when we get home during the winter.     This is a great idea and I love the molding foam that contours to your feet. But either I have really cold feet or my (brand new) microwave isn't calibrated the same because 10 seconds to warm the gel packs doesn't produce quite the warmth I'd really like. I still like the product, just need more warmth.

    The gel packs are very small and don't seem to diffuse heat well. The top of the foot can remain cold since the packs are only underneath the feet.
    I need to find larger gel packs.

    At least, the cats like to sit on it sometimes even without the packs. And since I'm not very tall I can use it without the packets as a footrest.
