Comments about Warming Muff:

I gave this to my husband whose hands get very cold in the winter. He just pops it into the microwave and he has soothing warmth for those cold winter days! I found out about it from my grandmother who has circulation problems--she has two so that one is warm at all times!

Too much trouble
By BBVerified Purchaser from Katy, TX on 1/26/2011
Cons:
Difficult to Use
Describe Yourself:
Brand Buyer
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Warming Muff:

I bought this for my dad since he has bad circulation. Unfortunately it has a zipper on it and you have to untie 4 corners to get the part out that you have to put in the microwave. Not too good for people with arthritis to have to tie and untie knots. If they had just used velcro and then you could put the whole thing in the microwave - then it would have been great.

I love this because my hands get very cold and sometimes ache. The only improvement I would make is to make it thicker so that it wouldn't cool as quickly.

I bought three of these! One for my Mom, one for my Mother-in-Law, and one for me! Mom is 89 and loves it. It's great to just heat it up and sit and warm your hands or take away arthritis pain. As a nurse, I feel it helps improve your circulation, too. Very soft fabric, too.

I gave this to my 88 year old mother-in-law along with the warming boots. She often feels cold when everyone else is either hot or comfortable. Now we just warm these up for her and she feels comfortable right along with the rest of us! This item is also versatile as it opens out into a handy little heating pad that we just place in her lap when she doesn't want to use it on her hands. This is a really great little product!

Really warms up my daughter's cold hands when she's out in cold weather. She has a "cold sensitivity" problem (yes, diagnosed by an MD) in which if her hands get too cold, they start to swell, hurt, etc. This stops the cold right in its tracks before it can make her feel worse. Great product & easy to use!

Disappointing
By AtheneVerified Purchaser from New Mexico on 12/31/2010
Cons:
Difficult to Use, Doesn't hold heat, Flimsy, Ineffective, Unpleasant to touch
Best Uses:
None I've found yet
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Warming Muff:

This warmer doesn't begin to measure up to what I can put together with old socks and pearled barley. I had hoped to get a nice cover, but for me, the material is unpleasant to touch. For some unknown reason there is a metal zipper, so you must struggle the flimsy, under-filled insert in and out of the unpleasant cover every time you want to top up the heat. Since this item doesn't hold heat well, it's fairly useless for its purpose.

Wish the filling was quilted to keep it evenly distributed, but worth every penny anyway.

I love this product. My hands get cold and hurt in the winter and this is awesome. Just heat it in the microwave for a minute. If feels sooooo good. The only bad thing is if you heat it longer it kind of smells like burnt popcorn. So, follow instructions and heat it in one min. increments. Definately recommend for those with cold or sore hands:)

Comments about Warming Muff:

I gave this to my massage therapist and her business partner, also another massage therapist. They both loved it! It unzips (plastic zipper) and can be used as a heating pad. There is another zipper that lets you take off the cover and wash it. Nicely constructed with ties inside to hold the heating pad in place. Also, there are chambers for the heating beads. I want to get one for myself!

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Warming Muff:

None of these products I purchased for xmas gifts (booties, blanket, hand warmer, back wrap) had enough filling material to heat up or cool down. There is so little material that there are 'holes' and this leaves multiple gaps where there is no filling at all. The hand warmer stays warm for only 5-6 minutes after several rounds of heating, shaking and turning in the microwave to get it completely warm. The rest of the products in this category do not perform much better. I am very sorry I wasted the money and I returned the booties that I had purchased for myself. I would have returned all of the gifts I bought in this category (seven products of this category) [...]

Comments about Warming Muff:

I gave this to my 25 year old daughter, who has always had problems with circulation in her fingers, making her hands real cold. She reports that she has used it often and it does the job real well and is nice and relaxing as a bonus. I was afraid that using this item might be too limiting in her movements, but she has enjoyed using it while just curling up and relaxing.

Comments about Warming Muff:

I love this product because I can use it on my mouse hand. I use the pc at night, and my hand on the mouse is always so cold. This doesn't fall off like a flat surface would, and it is not bulky like a mitt or glove. Also,it gets my hands warm, so I can work on my scrapbooking. When my hands are cold, I cannot pick up small items and place them in the right place. But with this, I can warm up my hands, just pull my hand out, and work on the small stuff. I love it!

This simple hand warmer helps ease the pain and stiffness in my husband's hands that are always cold and achy from diabetes and arthritis. It's simple to use, just pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds for a soothing, moist heat that lasts for 30 minutes or so. He uses it to ward off the evening chill while he watches TV and it allows us to keep the thermostat down a degree or two!

I bought this product for my mother who has Raynod's disease (lack of circulation to the extremities) so she can warm up her hands (we also have the warming shoes), and it works great. Heat it for a bit in the microwave (about a minute and a half), and voila! Instant warmth and relief. I'd recommend this product to anyone who has Raynod's, arthritis, or any other kind of problem with their hands.
