    They are ineffectual, the lights aren't very bright and there isn't enough magnification to help. They don't fit over prescription glasses, which might make them more useful.

    I have tried a lot of different styles of book lights to use when I read in bed at night. Most were hard to hold in place, not bright enough, too big, too small. I could not wait to receive these and try them. Mine have no magnification. My husband loves them! They are not too bright for him to be able to go to sleep while I enjoy reading my book before going to sleep.

    These glasses work fine for illuminating serial numbers on equipment, helping to unscrew a small item w/ jeweler's screw drivers, etc. Magnifying visors are better, but mo clunky, not as easy to use in a pinch.

    I had some problem with one of the lens' on/ff switches.

    I ordered a pair for myself and my husband liked them so much I had to order a seperate pair for him. You can use the glasses with or without the light or less light by lighting just one side of the glasses. PERFECT for late night bed reading without disturbing your spouse or just to add some additional light in low lit room.

    I use these reading glasses every night - I read in bed as my husband sleeps. These glasses make it so much easier - there were many times in the past when I would lie in bed awake and not read to prevent the light from bothering him.     What a great product. I use them almost everyday. I use them for sorting through mail, writing checks, reading things in dimly lit areas. They are well made and a nice size. They illuminate very well. They come in handy in so many situations. I used them a few days ago to hang a picture. It's like having an extra hand to hold a flashlight.

    Although I purchased these for LED glasses for reading in bed and in the car, today I used them at work! I had forgotten my reading glasses and used these glasses at the computer. They not only worked perfectly, but they also were a fun conversation piece amongst my co-workers! These are great for home, work, in the car or working on the car... the possiblities are endless!
