Had to take by pruning shears and rose clippers apart in order to sharpen blade. However, it did sharpen pretty well, but this is very time consuming. Too much money for a pretty cheaply made sharpener.

As soon as I got this I sharpened my hedge clippers and went to work. The sharpener was very easy to use and worked well. The clippers haven't been this sharp since I got them. This will save a lot of time and money.

I bought this tool to use on my garden clippers, hoes, etc. I works well and makes my tasks go quicker and easier with properly sharpened tools. When using the tool to sharpen garden implements, it is important to think about how these tools will be used, but it is worth the time and effort. The directions included with the product are very helpful.

While the picture shoes hedge trimmers, this tool is only for blades with bevel on both sides, like anvil pruners. There are better options for knives.

Even the picture that came with this review request shows the tool being used on hedge trimmers. NOT. This is for blades that are beveled on both sides, eliminating most garden tools such as bypass pruners.

This item was specifically advertised as being a safe and quick way to sharpen garden shears and loppers. When I tried to use it I found that it won't work on any of my two-bladed garden tools unless I take them apart. I'm going back to using a sharpening stone and will probably return it.
