First time to try this for tomatoes, works like a charm. Will be giving a go with my gladiolas this year. Would be easier if there was a built in cutter, it is a two hand job, hold roll, cut with sissors, lay down roll and scissors then wrap. Otherwise the use it fantastic.

I have always found myself searching for a string or strip of pantyhose or twisty tie to use in my flower garden. This product is just what I have been looking for. I had a morning glory vine on a trellis that was getting top heavy and leaning forward. I was able to use this product to easily cut a strip and attach it to something on the wall behind it. Problem solved and practically invisible. When I took down the vine I retrieved the piece to use again.

I think this was the greatest invention. I have over 40 indoor plants. Once in a while a branch will start falling. I get this out and repair the branch to my satisfaction. If you get Amaryllises and the leaves start drooping just use a stick to hold up the leaves and wrap this around the leaves and stick. It is great. You can use it over and over.

I was looking for a roll of paper twist "string" to tie up my tomatoes that I had purchased from Gardener's Supply years ago. I didn't find any so I thought I'd try this product instead.

It's a very light-weight "velcro." I wasn't sure it would hold up the vines that were heavy with ripe tomatoes, but it is working great. In addition, it's easy to reposition them and I can re-use them next year, and hopefully for many years to come.

The price is reasonable and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I just love this product. I use it mostly to tie up the plants in both my flower and vegetable gardens. When the plants die back I remove the ties and save them for next year. I have some that are 2-3 years old. I have also used it to hang bird feeders and keep suet feeders firmly closed. This is the third type of ties that I tried. The first was a roll of twist ties. They were very difficult to use as they aren't as flexible as I needed. Next I used stretch ties that look like ribbon. They were easy to use except they are not good for supporting weight. They stretch too far and break too easily. Lastly, I used these velcro ties. I was a bit worried that they wouldn't be sturdy enough or versatile enough to tie all my heavy tomato stems to the stake, but it worked even better than I had hoped!! I can't even believe how sturdy they are!! They easily hold weight and tie anything together. They don't shift or bend or break. I just place the steam near the support, wrap a small piece around them and it stays. Very easy to cut off a piece from the roll and can be reused as many times as needed. I just can't describe HOW happy I am with this product!!

This product has solved my problem of tying up climbing roses along my front fence. It does so easily and without ugly rags showing. The ties can be moved and reused as the growing plants require. If you have a tomato plant that has escaped its cage it is easy to add support so the weight of the growing tomatoes does not cause the branch to break off. I have been looking for something to hold my jasmine to the deck railings until it gets long enough to hold up its own weight. This was the answer! These velcro ties are wonderful. They can be cut into what ever length one needs, hold well, don't harm even our tender clematis and can be reused. Beside using it with our new fiddlehead trellises I am training a clematis up our wooden shed and found it easy to take a strip of about three inches puncture it in the middle with a nail and hammer the nail into the wooden wall and post of the shed. Then close the tie around the plant. Very easy and efficient, voila!

I have a vine Dutchmans Pipe, due to cold weather I thought I had lost it but shoots have appeared and I wanted something I could use that would not be tight around the stem as this is a very delicate vine I was able to attach tie around stem and wrought iron post without actually touching the vine stem and control where I want the stem to go. I grow my grapes vertically to save space and allow easier access. I just renovated my arbor and needed to train my grape vines up new posts. I looked in several "big box" stores but couldn't find any product that looked sturdy enough. When I discovered these re-usable plant ties, I tried them and the worked GREAT. Wire ties tend to cut into stems as they grow, and hemp, string or cloth are gentler, but still need to be knotted. We use the ties to secure the wisteria to a support. It is strong and blends right in with the green of the plant. It has to be strong to hold onto wisteria because the wisteria grows about 6 inches a day. On other plants it is soft enough to not harm their stems. It is invaluable in the garden in my opinion.

I love these ties! This is a great use of velcro. They are durable and reusable. I have some that ended up in the mud and in the compost bin and a year later they are still quite useable. I use them to keep my nine foot sunflowers attached to the stakes. When the stalk gets bigger, I just have to undo the tie and reattach it on-the-spot. It is useful to tie our tomato plants to the supports. We also used it to attach the netting to the support poles. I highly recommend these ties.

I bought the ties thinking I could use them to secure the deer fence net around the stakes. I was unhappy to learn that because they were Velcro, they had to be twisted to make a loop. This is a great invention. Truthfully, you can't ask for a more practical product. When staking and tying, this tape is so easy -- you can remove it, move it, tighten it, or take it off completely, and re-use it over and over again. I would have given it 5 stars, but the only issue is that if staking thorny roses or prickly plants and you are wearing fabric gloves, the velcro can stick to your gloves and make it a bit trying to get the tie in place. All in all, however, this is amazing tape, and every gardener should have some.

I cut several strips about 5" long, of this tape, and attach them to my trellises. Then, when my vines need tieing, it's there when I need it. When the season is over, and the vines come down, I can stick the velcro strips back on the trellis to be used again next year. I can re-use them over and over and over.

I saw this product for the first time this year and decided to give it a try to help hold some of my tomato plants in an upright position by securing them near one of the cage grids. From Spring to late Summer I use the velcro tape to tie up new and existing grape vines. They are adjustable to coincide with growth of vines which is very handy. Been able to reuse them from one year to another. Material has a pretty good life span. Works well with creeping flower plants, also, such as winecups or sweetpeas to help them climb.

I like how the velcro is just the right size for my vegetable plants. It's softer then regular hook and loop, so it doesn't damage the delicate plants as they grow. I use these to tie my rose canes to the wire I've attached to my rock walls. I like it because it doesn't show as much as the other ties I used to use, which were that bluish green kinda stretchy plastic stuff.
