They are sturdy and I hope that they will be as durable as the ones I got from you sometime in the 90s.

I wish you would make some with somewhat shorter poles as well - for those of us that have very rocky soil or have ledge. Anyway, for most plants the current one's work well.

Seems like I never have enough supports for my flowers. I bought these for the Liatris but have also used them for the tall Sedum, Peonies, Asiatic lillies, Cone flowers.......

Very strong, sturdy and leave out through the Chicago winters. Great price for 3 in a pkg.

I really like the support hoops that I get from Gardener's Supply Co. Every year I purchase a few more so that more of my flower's stay upright. I've had some of them for over 4 years . . . and storing is not a problem as you can store them flat.

I use them with my colombines. Perfect! I ordered 3 of the trellises. They arrived in a single package with some of the vertical stakes protruding a couple of inches outside the package.
Only one of the trellises was properly secured flat, with wire ties. Therefore, some of the vertical stakes had detached from from the ring, which caused the damage to the cardboard package.

I had a little trouble making the verticals stay where I wanted them--they kept sliding. A little tricky to positio them on a bank, but it worked out ok. Easier to place with two people. I love the rugged durability of all your stakes and trellises. I've used the single ones for my Irises and Gladiolus and the large ones for hollyhocks. Your products, though expensive, are high quality. Keep up the good work. I'll be ordering more.

I have close to 300 perrenial plants in beds all over our property and these plant supports do a great job of keeping my taller plants and bushier plants from falling over. They blend in, they fold flat for storing, and so far they have not chipped or faded or worn out. It certainly beats stakes and string.

I have "gigantic" purple queen salvias that I planted a few years ago along my walkway to our front door. I love these plants but when we get a very heavy rain they get beat down and end up looking like someone trampled on them. Parts of them lay on my walkway or in the grass for my husband to mow over. With these plant supports it doesn't matter how terrential of a storm we get my salvias are still standing up proud and looking beautiful. The grid top is large enough to allow many stems and blooms to grow through and with the dark green color of the supports you can't even notice them..they blend right in. Made a huge difference to my landscaping.

Deer are a problem in my neck of the woods, therefore, I garden on my deck in large containers. I was told that peonies would not do well in pots. For the last three years, I have had beautiful sauce-size blooms. The only problem I had was keeping their over-sized heads up. I staked them and tied them with string. That worked, but it wasn't aesthetically pleasing. The solution to my problem came in the mail last month. In your catalog, I found a 26" grow through support system especially designed for peonies. Whew! I was so excited that I bought a set of three for my existing pots, and sets for the future. I love the color of the supports. They blend in with the foliage. The design lets you adjust the positioning of every part of the stake individually, therefore you do not have to struggle to get the foliage in between the circular section. [...]

I ordered the grow through supports for the monster sized peonies in our yard. Last summer was our first summer here, and I had no idea they would get so large (we were told they've been there "forever", like the lilac bush/trees on our property). In any case, I knew I needed a better solution than the mini-picket fences I'd put around them to keep them off the ground last summer. My mother gave me a Gardener's Supply catalog and when I saw these, I knew they'd do the trick. Unfortunately, they were on backorder, and I had my fingers crossed that the peonies wouldn't grow that much before their arrival. They did grow more than I'd hoped, but I was able to finagle nearly all the stems through the top circle without damage. A few on the big daddy peony didn't make it in, and I resorted to the mini-picket fence solution for those stems, but the rest of the plants are held upright, beautifully. I was a little skeptical that the supports would hold these huge plants, but they're great. Next year, they will be far easier to install, since I'm sure I'll be doing it at least a month earlier! The green color blends perfectly with the plant. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a good strong support.

Put these in my garden and it's still early (although too late for my peonies!), but I will monitor the situation. They were very simple to install and blend right in with the plants. You have to look very closely to see them. I love how you can lift them as the plants grow higher.

Put this over your plant when it's small and then gradually draw up the support as the plant grows. It holds the plant perfectly naturally and disappears into the background as the plant grows. Even in torrential rains and wild winds the plant is supported without breakage.

We have used these for years for our customers - we've purchased about 100 of them from you. You interviewed us for your catalog a few years ago. I am heartbroken that you will not carry these any more. There are no other plant supports that are equal to these. They are large, extremely sturdy, easy to store, long-lasting. Their legs don't come off and get lost. And 4-legged supports are much more stable than 3-legged supports. The bulls-eye grid is easy to slip over the plants, even after they have grown up quite a bit. Please reconsider stocking these again.

I can raise it as the plant grows throughout the season

Used this to support oriental lillies. Added much later than it should have been done and it still worked, with a bit of a hassle.

I love the center circle. It gave more support to heavy headed plants. I placed them early and the plant grew through them. I can't see the ring now

Keeps tall daisies and other flowers that tend to droop with heavy flower heads "in their place." Also, you cannot see the green frame once the plants mature.

When I put the support up over the small peony plant, I wondered if it would ever grow up through it. I couldn't push the support further into the ground, but it seemed much higher up than the peonies had grown the previous year. By the time the plant bloomed not only had it grown through the support, but doubled in height through the support! I was pleased that the support held the plant and flowers so well.

I placed the rings over my Bergamot in early spring and now, in July, they can't be seen and my flowers are straight and tall, despite strong winds and heavy rains.

This is the best peony ring out there - it's wide enough for mature peonies and sturdy enough to take the weight of the big double blooms. Then I move them over to a couple of English roses that get a little floppy. They store reasonably flat and last for years - I bought my original three over ten years ago and they're still holding up just fine. A little expensive, but a great investment.

I use these to support my Autumn Joy Sedums and my peonies. The rings hold the heavy peony flowers in the spring even when it rains. They also support the tall sedums long into the fall and winter when they normally flop over.

I have purchased many of the different plant "holders" over the past couple years - all different sizes and styles. My flower gardens look gorgeous even after heavy rains and wind...and they're so easy to use. I've already ordered more for next year to help keep my new plantings upright and "showy". I use these to hold up various garden flowers. They work great on peonys. The moveable legs are great for storage, but makes it a bit tricky to put into the ground. I keep these out all winter, they are coated so as not to rust! The flowers just grow through them the following spring.

Easy to install -- I put it together and placed it in about 5 minutes. Inobtrusive -- it's thin and dark green, so I leave it out year-round and the plants grow up through it. Sturdy -- seems to be holding up well in the weather after 2 years outdoors. A great solution.

I still use some of these supports that I bought more than eight years ago, and I buy a few more every year -- both for my expanding collection of herbaceous peonies and for yarrow, nepeta, and even chrysanthemums. The hoops stay firmly in the ground, even over the winter, marking the spot where the peonies will appear again in the Spring, so I don't over-mulch them, or weed too close to the emerging 'eyes'.

We have strong spring/summer gusts in Virginia that make a mess of lilies, peonies and phlox. The grow-thru supports held them up beautifully. Absolutely an indespensible product.
