I have been looking for this very type of product in the USA market; these fold-up type trellises are readily available in Japan. They are very handy for growing Japanese morning glory vines. The color is attractive green. The metal clips that hold the rings sometimes come unattached but it is easy to reassemble the trellis. The metal is a bit on the flimsy side but with care the trellis should last many seasons. I will return to buy more of these supports as I phase out my tomato cages for these more attractive support rings.

After I prune my fuchsias in early spring, I always place one of these support rings around each one and simply adjust the rings as they grow. Hummingbirds can access more of the flowers when the branches are supported at multiple levels. I wish this were offered in a 5-ft. size for my tomatoes.

This holds up peonies well. It is just a tad difficult to set up--the rings are flimsy, and it is difficult to keep the posts aligned with one another in relationship to the rings. But once set up, they work well, and hide well.

these supports are all invisible by the time they have been in a month. helpful in keeping order in the garden and the flowers that need help standing tall (because they are top heavy), stand tall leaving space for good ventilation around individual plantings.

My first impression proved wrong. These come flattened & encased in plastic bags. They're very lightweight & seem flimsy at first. However, I've used them to support peonies & so far they've held up very well & kept up with the plants' growth. I like that they're adjustable and they'll be very easy to store since they're collapsable.

I thought I could use these for my peonies, but they are too narrow and not strong enough. I should have read the description closer. If used for narrow plants like foxglove, they would work fine, but you have to get them in while the plants are small, otherwise they might cut into the roots. The stakes are only about 6" in diameter.

These support rings have been great for my delphiniums. They usually topple in the middle of the summer but the support rings have kept them standing nice and tall. Because of the support rings I've been able to enjoy these beautiful flowers longer.

This is the third set of support rings we've purchased from Gardner. The two previous sets were for oriental poppies that grow nearly 5 ft tall -- then fall over. The smaller set's been perfect for columbine and Iceland poppies. As our delphinium get taller, we'll have to get supports for them, too.

When the supports are on sale during th winter they are less expensive than the ones we could purchase at our local nursery.

This is a very useful product. I am currently using them to corral my taller columbine. They are a little awkward to set up getting the 3 stakes evenly spaced but it could be because I waited too long to put them in. Once the plants grow up they are pretty much completely hidden. And the adjustable support rings are what made this product so great. You can move them up or down as needed. I'll be buying more next year.

I would like to have all the rings, including the 4" and 6" gathering rings, available on shorter support wires for use while the plants are growing up and still low to the ground. The support rings are awkward to use, and my experience with similar products is that they stop sliding very quickly.

We have several large oriental poppies that grow nearly 5 ft tall. We also have strong winds that flatten the poppies causing any columbine growing near to be covered/smothered. After using the 35" support rings, the poppies remained upright. Now the columbine and delph are free to grow tall so we ordered a shipment of 20 inch support rings.

I bought these to use on my peony plants, but they work great on yarrow, foxglove, penstemon, delphinium, you name it. I particularly like how they fold flat for storage for the winter.

I love these for my dahlias, because I don't have to keep moving stakes around and retying the stems. The plants just grow right up through the center of the rings and I can just enjoy the flowers without fuss!

Work best if used whileplants are small.

This is a good product but I found it difficult to put my mature plants inside the rings. Next year I will put the Support Rings around the plants before they get too tall. They've done a good job holding up my coneflowers.

Product is effective if you match the proper size to the plant. Product is shipped flat and you need to slide supports around rings...and they don't all slide smoothly.

This season I am using the support rings to protect daylillies and support deer netting in a front bed where I have the lillies growing. They have been somewhat effective in keeping the deer from eating the blossoms. They are tall enough for the shorter growing daylillies.

I tried to use it for my tomatoes. They usually don't get too big. It did well until the tomatoes got ripe and heavy. It was hard to assemble by myself. Worked better with 2 people setting it up. I think it would be great for large flowers and foliage plants.
