I bought the 48" stem supports. They are unobtrusive and extremely versatile since they can be pushed deep into our sandy soil to accomodate shorter flower stems if necessary. If you order them, order more than you think you need! You will discover other flowers in your garden that will benefit from their support.

I use these for my tallest iris, some day lilies, and especially for the Casa Blanca lilies, which tower at least a foot above the support! Sometimes they are too tall, so I start with the 36" supports, and then change to these 48" ones as the plants get taller. Can also be used for peonies, as most peony rings are not tall enough to support the blossoms. Very easy to slip the stem and/or blossom inside the support.

These are just right for my gladiolas! Just stick them in the ground and you're done. Couldn't get easier. The green color blends in beautifully and doesn't detract from the flowers. You don't even know they are there. While I bought these specifically for my gladiolas, I'm thinking they would work great with my yarrow and other tall flowers that need help standing up.

While I'm sure these are great for outdoor plants, I purchased them to use indoors for my potted bamboo. They work great, and my bamboo is now standing up straight (and looks better than it ever has).

If I was to do it all over again, I'd purchase the tallest ones available. Even if your plants aren't as tall as you think just push it farther into the ground. My flowers would benefit from the taller stakes even though these work.

This product has been a life saver. Once we received our order from Gardener's Supply, our tall lillies didn't fall over any longer. Our tall tiger lillies stood up and we also used these on our tall glads as well as iris. They are not that noticable on the flowers, but they saved our plants from looking like they were falling over. They are so great, I ordered us about a dozen more.

We first bought these single stem supports for some lilies. Since then we have found them perfect for irises, gladiolus, daylilies, and Lord Baltimore hibiscus. As the flowers bloom in sequence, we move the supports from one to the next throughout the season. In some cases, I did have to cut a few supports because I could not push them deeply enough into the soil to support shorter flowers. Overall, a great product!

I would like the product to be constructed of stronger material. The least resistence to putting the support into the ground causes the item to bend. Wouldn't buy again.

I inherited some glads with my old house and watched them tumble last year with the weight of the blooms. I tried staking them with wooden dowels, but they just broke off. When I saw your product, I bought several packs of different sizes. They worked perfectly and I had lovely glads at all stages, even in storms and heavy rain!

I purchased the supports for my tall lilies. Unfortunately, they're not up to the task. They're the same gauge as the 24" and 36" stakes, and therefore substantially flimsier because of the length. I can't see them supporting tall hollyhocks or other very tall stems.

Stick to light-duty tree supports and ties for such purposes. These stakes don't do the job.

I use the supports for smaller lily stems, mostly, and to help with training small branches on shrubs. They're adequate for my purposes, but not strong enough for heavy-ish duty like tall stems. They're the same gauge as the 24" stakes, so consequently less sturdy.

If you love flowers and enjoy having neat and orderly flower beds then you must have this product. The stakes will hold your tall stems upright and display your tall lilies and glads in all their glory. I have many of these and don't know what I would do without them.

They are so tall that I used a hack saw to cut off a foot or so. Same with the shorter set I bought. Didn't realize they were so tall or my flowers were so short. Now they're fine. Like that they don't show up. Use them with Coneflowers.

I ordered the tallest available for my alliums and they stand like soldiers. When the alliums are done, they are on "stand by" for foxglove, delphiniums, etc.

I used these to hold up my gladiolas this summer. They were the perfect height to support the flowers so they weren't bent over.
I like the green finish on them because they blend in with the foliage so you don't really know the supports are there. I stored them easily in a tall vase with all my other supports.

My foxglove plant is very large (around) and very tall. This worked best to support the flower stems. Unable to find 48" supports anywhere locally and the others were just too short to do a nice job.

As my garden expands so does my need for more of these every year. As spring plants fade I move the supports to the upcoming summer flowers and so on into fall. They are so easy to place, keep the plants straight, and during heavy wind and rain, they SAVE my garden!

These supports hold my irises, gladiolas and lilies upright, even when the lilies have a dozen blooms at one time! They are stronger than bamboo, and their green color blends in with the flower stems. They are easy to use, and can be used over and over again. Now I don't worry when the wind starts to blow~I know my flowers won't be blown over because these supports hold the stems securely. It's great to find a product that performs so well!

I really like that these supports are nearly invisible in my garden. I want my garden to appear as natural as possible to showcase the flowers and large, obtrusive supports are not conducive to that look. These are easy to use, easy to hide and the variety of heights makes them perfect for many flower types.

I bought these supports for the Gladiola bulbs I planted. They work great and are much stronger than the ones I saw at a local garden center. I bought more than I needed and used the extra for my begonia blooms in pots that I had placed in my garden. They came in handy supporting the heavy begonia blooms. Love them!

I have a lot of tall flowers throughout the year and this simple "stick with a circle" allows me to use it with tulips, then gladiolas and then zinnias as needed. I now have about 15 that I swap all around as needed. Beats twine tied to a stick because all I do is shove it in the ground. I now have the medium and very tall versions.

I started out with the tallest of these, so my glads and dahlias had to be at full height before I could effectively fasten the plant to the support. I ended up taking plant wire and affixing the plant to the support (which I have done for years with bamboo stakes at far less cost.) Also, once my dahlias were high enough to feed them into the hole, the stalks were too thick. Limited use of these . . . better to buy the larger circular supports. And always start with the small and medium sizes. They will brace your plants through the first growth stages so that the stalks are not malformed

I have a Lily garden that I built on a flat spot coming off a large natural rock wall and hill on my long driveway. I had to build up the front of the flat area with rocks, dirt and sections of a birch tree I had cut down to create a bed. I then topped it off with the best potting soil I could find. There isn't much of a bed, probably no more than 6 inches in some spots. So when it came time for my 24" lilies to grow and bloom, I needed to support each stem. These stakes worked great. I added some green twine here and there to keep the growing lilies close to the stakes before they reached the circular supports at the top of the stakes. Worked great! My lilies are starting to bloom and they look so beautiful standing straight and tall instead of flopping over and getting covered with dirt when it rains.
