These freestanding tuteurs add a sculptural element to your garden landscape and are perfect for flowering vines like clematis and morning glories, as well as climbing roses. The half-round style has a flat back and is designed to stand against a fence or wall. We took our inspiration straight from the gardens of France for the Jardin line of plant supports. The graceful lines and heirloom finish bring a touch of romance to the landscape and a sense of timelessness to your garden.

It's the perfect tool to support the flowers that are growing in a large pot.

Comments about Jardin Half-Round Tuteurs:
Was excited to receive this item as I need a support for a climbing rose and the half-round design was perfect for being up against the wall. I was so disappointed when I opened the packaging and saw the finish (it looks like rusted metal) and quality (flimsy) of this item. But since the rose will cover most of it, I decided it's easier to keep it than to bother with the repackaging and cost of sending it back. However, there are no directions at all to assemble this item so I'll have to spend a lot of time trying to figure out how all the pieces fit together. Maybe it will be fine once I can get it together and repaint it to look decent.

Comments about Jardin Half-Round Tuteurs:
I just bought two 7' tuteurs. I was really looking forward to receiving them.
First of all, the description does not mention that these need to be assembled…all 28 pieces plus 21 bolt and nut sets. I guess they think I'm smart because they came with no instructions whatsoever. The first one went together fairly well, although there were a couple places where the machining was not very good and it was tough to get the parts together. However, there apparently IS a particular way these go together, as I discovered when I got to the end of the second one, and it was crooked. I had to disassemble the center sections, switch the two center top curved segments and reassemble it to get it to stand properly.
The cross pieces are very flimsy and are easily bent. Also, the bolt-and-nuts look very unfinished. The parts all look like they could be purchased at the hardware store.
And then, there is the "hand painting". It is done very poorly, the paint was coming off in my hands as I assembled them, and it is EXACTLY the color of RUST. These will not go into place in my garden until they have been painted by me, a project I had not anticipated.
They are a nice height and shape, however, and as my husband said, "they will look nice once the plants grow on them."
I decided to keep them only because I am unwilling to disassemble them and try to get them back into the box for return shipment. Had I seen these in person, I would not have purchased them. I am sorry to give a negative review, as all my other purchases from Gardener's Supply have been great. But this just is not worth the price.
