We bought a new home a couple years ago and are building new gardens all around the house. I tried these because plastic labels didn't last the winter, and I forgot what I planted where. With these, I labeled the new perennial bed...needed more. Then I labeled the tomatoes and peppers. Needed more. Then I labeled the peonies, blueberries and roses. NEED MORE! Need I say more??!!

I love the design of this marker. Most other markers are clunky and stick out like a sore thumb. The two problems I have though are that they are not reusable and the writing tends to fade even using a grease pencil. I am now trying the permanent paint marker to if this method lasts longer through our winters and summers.

These seem very sturdy and the design is unobtrusive. They are very attractive in the garden. A regular permanent marker keeps washing off however; think I will try the recommended paint marker instead.

I use the markers to remind me what was planted where in my garden. the winter is very long here and i want to remember NOT to pull out any perennials come spring. The only problem is that even permanent maker washes off.

i plant a lot of bulbs and need to know what is where in fall/winter when i decide i will rearrange everything for the spring. i have tried other markers but these are still legible and sturdy, year after year. sometimes i touch up the marker to keep it visible. they are not obtrusive in the flower bed

I love how durable and surprisingly attractive these are! My 3 big dogs don't even knock them down! They're low profile, but when they do catch your eye, they're sleek and neat looking. I used a sharpie, and that's worked just fine.

These plant markers are perfect for marking my perennials and shrubs. They are easy to write on with the pen I ordered with them, and there is ample room for plant information. I did write some information on the back of the tags, though. I like the slim profile which is easy to hide in foliage.

I was always forgetting the names of plants and when I put them in. Now I write the plant name on the front and where I bought the plant and date planted on the back. The markers last and are easy to move as plants grow larger. I would highly recommend this product.

After trying out several other markers, I have found the right ones. They don't disappear, but you can make them unobtrusive in the placement. Make sure you decide which direction to write the name - I have found that turning them to the horizontal position and writing first the common name and then the latin one underneath works for me. I look forward to having a chance to know where each plant is when I want to add more bulbs and when the foilage is gone next spring. I love these markers.

I've planted an herb garden in containers, and these markers keep me oriented to what's in what pot. Once you write on them with a permanet marker, it won't rub off or wash off. They are attractive and functional. I would highly recommend them to others.

Worked much better than the fading plastic ones I was using. I may try paint pin net year instead of pencil for labeling. Although the pencil has worked perfectly just a little hard to see the fine lines.

There are many metal labels available, but these are the easiest I've found to write on that also last more than a season or two. They also seem to be stepped on and bent or lost less often than other styles. They are also very easy to get in the ground.

I love these markers - they're addictive. You can't have too many. They are unobtrusive yet effective in marking plants. After using them, regular plant markers seem awkward and clumsy. I got 100 this time and I hope that lasts me for a while - that said, they're worth the money, which isn't bad for long lasting plant markers.

I love these because they are unobtrusive. They can be pushed all the way to the ground or left higher up, and they are verticle tags, so they will "hide" well behind my perennials. The part that you write on can also slide up and down. I am ordering more!

The prongs are long enough that they stay in the ground even when they get stepped on. I use them to mark all of my flowers so that I know where they are after the long winter snow.

I used the markers, in my flower beds, to reference the common and latin name of plants as I'm trying to learn the latin ones. Because they're vertical, they're very easy to use and hide away (if desired) and there's plenty of room to write on them if you have the proper pen. They're holding up nicely so far!

Discreetly labeled my perennials and vegetables, and even though I don't want to see them all the time in my garden, they are not an eyesore early in the season or right after pruning. I did have a hard time writing small enough with the recommended paint pen, but a different type would probably work just fine.
