These are so much more attractive than the little plastic sticks that come with a plant.

The only thing I'm not sure of is if they are RE-usable. I used a sharpie to write on thinking that would be best to keep the writing on in the rain, but didn't consider that it might be permanent. Anyone??

I received these plant markers as a Christmas present. I was delighted to have a more attractive and "natural " alternative to the obtrusive "stake-type" marker for identifying the more exotic flowers and shrubs in my garden. They are especially useful for keeping me from stepping on and destroying those deciduous plants that "disappear" in the winter, such as delicate gingers. In addition, these plant markers are not only a practical solution but a means of creative expression, too! Instead of writing a plant name on only one side of each rock, on the other side I also write a word or phrase that reminds me to fully appreciate and enjoy my time in my garden, such as "BREATHE" or "ENJOY" or "SMILE" or "NOW." Thank you for making these plant markers available---and affordable!

These markers help me avoid inadvertantly digging up my favorite plants while they are dormant. The only negative I can think of is that they can be moved because they aren't anchored down. I like the natural and beautiful look of the stones.
