Now that I have the garden kneeler, I'll try some gardening in the Spring, but for now I'm using it indoors. It's great for cleaning lower kitchen cabinets, under the sink, the lower part of the refrigerator, the bathtub, etc. My house is cleaner than ever! I bought it mainly to use to help me get down to tend to uses in the pool such as getting a water sample or testing the water, both of which require getting down on the knees and getting back up. A good sturdy product, it might be slightly better if both sides featured sealed cell foam (seat side is more of an open cell type and more dense). Also fairly handy for working on bikes, autos, and so forth.

1. I put my kneeler in my garden cart every time I head out to garden - even if I don't know that I will need it, because, every time I don't have it with me I have to go back and get it at some point.
2. It's great to be able to use it both to kneel and to sit down.
3. It fits into amazingly small spaces - especially used as a seat - because you can place it over short plants and in between larger ones.
4. It's very sturdy - I've had my first one for about 10 years and it's still going strong. Just ordered my second one for a vacation cottage.
5. The only thing I wish is that it were lighter, although I wouldn't want to give up ANY of it's sturdiness for a reduction in the weight. I imagine if you built it out of titanium it would be out of my price range!

I have wanted this product for a long time, but now I am extremely disappointed. The copy says it folds flat for storage; but in fact, once unfolded, no amount of force will fold it again. If there is a trick to folding it, instructions would be helpful, but none were included. I would return it, because I don't want to store something that can't be folded, but of course since it can't be folded it will not go back in the box to be shipped. I will probably just have to throw it out. What a waste of money.

Any gardener who does not have this item must love enduring backaches and such. I sat on this kneeler for almost an hour picking green beans. Had I not used the kneeler, I would have been hunched over for another hour trying to straighten back up. So easy to move around the garden. I really like the mobilty of this product. I can easily carry the kneeler anywhere on my 4 acres. It is very easy to lift into my raised beds. After having several knee surgeries, it is nice to have assistance getting up after kneeling. I really like how it folds flat so that I am able to hang it on the wall when not in use- I certainly do not need to add my gardening supplies that clutter the floor. I also found it useful the other day when I was cleaning up seed starting supplies. It gave me a nice little bench to sit on while washing my pots in my garden tub.

This item is saving my back. Getting up and down as I move around the garden used to be difficult, but not any more. I would recommend adding a terry cover over the knee pad (I use an old towel) to keep your knees clean if you are wearing shorts.

A great help for weeding and planting. It really helps me to get up and down without losing my balance and killing my back. It is a little hard for arthritic hands to open and close but not impossible. I love it. Even my husband uses now. We will probably use in indoors too.

I have used the product several times since it was delivered. I'm 65 yrs. old and need help getting up from a kneeling position. This product really fits the bill. Also, used it reversed. When I get tired I just turn it over and have a seat until I get my energy back.

I'm a plant breeder with advanced handicaps. My breeding program is one of the sustaining forces in my life. The garden kneeler is the product that allows to me to keep on keeping on.

I'm not physically able to use this as a kneeler, but I carry or drag one with me at all times so that I have an instant seat. At times, I've left them throughout the garden as "stations." Should I fall, I can flip the seat over and use it to regain my footing.

The styrophome slabs/seats come loose when the kneeler is repeatedly left outside or under a carport. Humidity, dew and/or rain damage the glue. A role of duct tape must be kept on hand. Still, I couldn't live without it.

I used to avoid getting down on my knees to plant flowers. This kneeler allows me to use my arm strength to raise up. Plus it works great to use as a seat. I recommended it to several friends, however one said that the kneeler that he received seemed like the hinges weren't tight and felt like it might give way.

This item is so helpful. I have many landscaping rocks around my flower beds. I can kneel on this for hours,weed and plant, and still get up. It would be nice if it were made out of aluminum instead of steel as it is a little heavy

My husband and I use this around the house--doing remodling projects, any time we need to get low to do projects where we have to bend or squat (we're both in our 70's)like painting the lower parts of walls, cleaning the kitchen cupboards (lower ones)etc. I do also use it when I have to pull weeds in the garden.

The seat is going to wear out/weather/use before the metal frame. I suggest you have vendor improve on the seat. When foam seat does wear out i'll figure out a way to attach a homemade seat. thanks for asking for input.

I'm a pretty primitive gardener....I like simple tools and not alot of things to keep up with. But this garden kneeling is one of my best purchases. I couldn't believe the difference in my legs and especially my knees. It's light weight and easy to maneuver. I can't believe I didn't buy it sooner.

Our property was covered with rabbit brush! Very hard to cut and impossible to dig up. Using the garden kneeler I was able to persist and now there are only a few small brushes left.

I bought this as a gift for my sister who retired and is just really getting into serious gardening. She loves it, she uses it in the garden and also as a handy bench for chores like potting. She also likes to take it with her in the car for a handy seat when traveling or going on field trips. The only thing I would change might be a less slippery seat or kneeler, when you are gardening and your knees get moist you tend to slide around.
