It was very simple to assemble and about the handiest gadget I have ever used. It rolls around my flower beds when I weed or plant. Saves the knees and bending up and down.

I have had a variety of garden seats that use up a large amount of space (in storage) so this one is EASY TO STORE! Pneumatic tires means problems down the road, plastic construction gets mushy over time. None of those on this seat! This is a GREAT seat!

I love that the seat can be adjusted LOW such that I can plant bulbs or paint floor molding. I can trim low and medium height bushes with ease and NO BACK PAIN! It is fairly easy to ajust the height, but there is a learning curve there...so expect to spend a little time cementing that one in the old noggin.

The seat has wheels on the bottom and curved handles on the top (SO easy to push up on)...flip it over and you have a slightly rocking seat to easily extend your planting/weeding reach by 8-12 inches or so (shorter reach on wet grass...ouch).

My children have both commandeered this fun seat. My daughter prefers it to her desk chair.

Interestingly, I bought this to store beside my washer (a new front loader without the pedestal stand) and I bought the seat to help with moving the clothes from washer to dryer more easily. That is still the seat's weekly job and it functions wonderfully and stores in a 14 inch wide slot next to the washer.

The negatives I see are
1) it is a little heavy to tote around...but I also like that because it seems like the construction will be long lasting.

2) No place to store tools. My mushy old plastic garden seat has a lovely interior storage place. But...I feel like the variety of uses of this seat outweigh that negative.

The only thing that keeps this seat from being perfect is the straight line movement...the wheels do not rotate.

Ideal for patio or smooth surface prunning, but a little rough and difficult to use on cobbled or flag stone walks. The front "rocker" is good for kneeling operations. But, overall not the ideal tool I was looking for "dead heading" daylillies and prunning roses along a flag stone walk. Bigger wheels (tires) are needed.
