I saw these in the catalog and thought they were cute, so bought two sets. I thought they'd be just a lightweight cutesy item, but I was wrong. They are durable as well as cute! They are being used to guide my pumpkin plant towards the yard, keep the hose lines guided through the garden as well as being used as a stake to help hold up a piece of dog-fencing to keep the pups out of the garden. They are so functional! I do pad the top of the stake with a towel before hammering them into the ground, as I don't want to mark up the paint. That's just me, though...

These are such high quality and nostalgic (remember those croquet games when you were a kid?) stakes. The paint is durable and the stakes have a nice heft to them, they are not cheap and lightweight. I use mine to support my tomatoes, peppers and eggplants. They are such nice decorative accents, they really add some whimsy to the garden.

This is the first "thing" I've found that I can use to guide my garden hose to keep it out of my flowers! I bought one set first and liked them so much that I ordered a second set. Am thinking of a third even.

These could be used to guide hoses, too, but they make great plant stakes for shorter plants. The color is noticeable but still will fade into the background as the plants take center stage.

If you like to "decorate" your garden, then you will love how these coordinate with the garden spirals. I am using them to support pepper plants and just wish they were a bit taller since my plants will end up several inches taller than the stake.
