I love these scissors. They fit my ladies medium hand and my assistant's (330# male)large hands very comfortably. They remain sharp, even after pruning tough roses and shrubs. The large scissors are long enough to get deep into big plants.

I loved the longer handles that allow me to trim flowers without getting thorns in my fingers. The larger finger guards are easier for my husband to use also. I couldn't think of any "cons" for this product and I will be ordering another pair since my husband wants one too!

I actually bought these for trimming fur balls off my cat. I have used them for trimming carpet, cat/dog fur balls, dog nails, rose bushes, plastic off of pkgs, open box tops, and more. I'm ordering several more pair to have around the house. The small ones work great if you are a seamstress. Love em.

I use my scissors to trim and prune in my garden; I espescially liked the ease in which I could cut thick dead wood from my rose bushes.
Also, they are great for cutting away the tough plastic wrap that surrounds items that I buy.

I have several of these and everyone in the house uses them. I always carry a pair when heading out to the garden and they are very handy. My most frequest use is to harvest herbs from the garden, then bring them in and cut them with the scissors tips right into a bowl for use. These even cut through tough stems on my rosemary bush with ease.

I use these scissors around the house, mostly, but the design makes them a little more useful than standard scissors--it seems easier to get the blades in narrower places. They've worked great for cutting flowers and herbs, although I haven't tried them on tougher stuff.

The scissors are excellent but because they are carbon steel, they will rust if not dried after each use. I hestitate to keep them outdoors with the rest of my gardening equipment because of the humidity. Otherwise, because of their thinness, they are perfect for doing delacate pruning.

They are probably my most-used gardening tool; I use them to keep a wide range of plants trimmed & to cut back flowering plants, bushes & grasses - all perennials - in winter. I've had one long-handled pair for at least 6 years, & bought a second as back-up! They shear very well & have never been sharpened. They're not designed for hard, woody branches: for those I use rose pruners.

I purchased these scissors to trim and cut a small indoor herb garden. The thin tip makes it very easy to make exacting cuts without disturbing the rest of the plants. The handle gets some getting use to but all in all works well where it need to.

The only reason I needed replacement was because I lost the last pair after 4 years! Great tool! I use it around the house as well as in the garden. Not for woody things but perfect for lighter things that pruners mangle. Very sharp and precise!
