I bought these as a companion xmas gift for my mom's amaryllis plants and she told me that while ok if the stalks are thin, the stalks on the holiday amaryllis that I also bought her were too thick for their use. She thought they might be useful for another type of flower though.

I'm using it to hold the tall amaryllis flower stems upright. Works exactly as described. Could also be used in the garden to hold tall individual flower stems.

I bought these stakes to stake amaryllis stalks. They are only good for the shorter stalks because these stakes are not very tall. The circle at the top is not moveable so you have to put the stake in the pot while the amaryllis is short and let it grow through the circle unless the pods are or stalk is small enough to put through the circle after the stalk has grown tall and starts to lean. I will buy more of these but only to use with the shorter amaryllis. I believe the company needs to improve this product - 1) make the entire stake taller and 2) make the circle moveable.
