Sturdy construction make it easy to transport around, even when full of potting soil. I would probably like the lip on front to be a little higher, but overall it's really worked out well for potting up my seedlings in my basement grow room.

I do not have potting bench and because of back problems sit while potting 10 -12 good sized pots each spring for the patio. It is always messy between the potting soil spilling over and watering the newly planted flowers. Now I pot my plants in this tray and the clean up is so easy. Bought one for my daughter who uses it to water her plants on her condo balcony so it doesn't drip below. I am purchasing another for a friend. Keep giving us these wonderful products.

I purchased this portable potting tray because it was inexpensive & looked like it would be useful in containing the dirt while transplanting indoors & out. I was right! It is lightweight, so I can put it anywhere & it stores easily against a wall in the basement. I have used it to transplant both in my kitchen & on the back deck & it has done a great job of containing the dirt (no more soggy newspapers!). I like the shelf along the back, too. It's a good staging are for pots & keeps them from getting covered with dirt. The tray hoses clean & dries in the sun. Couldn't ask for better!

I am delighted with the portable potting tray. I used it on my kitchen island to re pot orchids and houseplants this November. It kept the "mess" confined, was light weight and easy to use, and stored easily in my garage for future use. It was also nice to work at a comfortable height. For anyone in a cooler climate where fall and winter weather limit outdoor activities such as potting/re potting, this is a perfect gift.

I use the potting tray when I do talks/demos on soil composition. It is great for displaying individual soil components, i.e. sand, silt, clay, and organic matter. Then I mix the elements in proper proportion to show a resultant mix that is ideal for optimum plant growth. I can even add water to show that great soil has good drainage. Before, I would do this on newspaper and it was a real mess to clean up. The potting tray is great because it is lightweight, holds water and is easy to clean.

Using your portable potting tray, I recently potted up several fancy begonias I received via the mail. I also repotted some very large ferns. The opening in the front made it convenient to lift the large pots into place. This tray is just the right size to contain the mess when getting down to some serious potting. The high back and sides and low front makes it easy to stir up your own soil mix. Fully loaded, it's light enough to move it easily. An inexpensive treat.

Finally, a product that works well in my potting shed. Most plants can be re-potted without dirt flying all over the place. There's a shelf at the top for conveniently placing tools and gloves. Clean-up is quick and the tray is light-weight and durable. The only drawback is a tight fit for starter flats for seedlings; it would help if the potting tray were an inch or two wider. Overall, a good product.

I use it to mix the fertilizers and soil. I am disabled so doing this in the garden is difficult, so I use the kitchen. Now, I don't make a real mess, and my wife loves it. I dump the old dirt into it and mix it with new soil boosters before re-potting. Re-potting my plants is easy and no mess. It's the right size for many of my mixing and planting needs. It it would be perfect if it were alittle deeper for full dirt containment.
