I bought this as a gift for my mom. When I read the care instructions I knew she wouldn't be able to do it all. Then I tried to keep it alive and failed.

Comments about Lavender Plant in Cachepot:

This lavender plant came with lots of blooms which are still in bloom and lots of buds yet to open. The plant has a nice shape and it sits in a beautiful pot. One of the downsides is it needs frequent watering. But, having said that several times i found it with the flower heads drooping but they bounced back quickly after watering.

My NM landscaping is full of gorgeous lavender and makes for a great summer harvest with long lasting fragrance. This plant arrived before Christmas with a few blooms and some fragrance. It promptly dried up and died (even when proper care was given to it).

Comments about Lavender Plant in Cachepot:

This plant needs a minimum of 3 hours of direct sunlight to bloom, something not that easy to come by in the winter, at least at my house. The description says "place near a sunny window" but it would have been nice to have a little more info about the plant's sun requirements. It looks pretty plain without blooms.

Comments about Lavender Plant in Cachepot:

This plant came looking great but quickly died off. The instructions for care are crazy. You need to make sure that the temperature varies 20 degrees between night and day and it should be around 50 or 60 degrees at night the Winter. I don't know about you but I don't really have the time to relocate my plant each night or a special room to keep it in at that temperature. Not realistic that anyone would but that much care into the plant.

i bought two of these lavender plants, one was big and beautiful and the other was small and it looked like it was ready to go the the happy flower grave. I had to of course give my sister -in -law the pretty one and i had to keep the scrawny one..I am too lazy to return items so i just took it as a loss....other than this i enjoy most of the items i buy...

Comments about Lavender Plant in Cachepot:

I read another review saying that the plant did not survive long but took my chances. So disappointed. The plant looked great when I received it but by the following week it was not doing well at all even though I was giving it the proper light and water. Thank goodness the pot is nice. It turned out to be an expensive one!

Comments about Lavender Plant in Cachepot:

I bought two of these as gifts and thought they were a little pricey. They arrived with more than 6 weeks before they could be given as gifts. They were potbound; the root balls were as hard as rocks and water went right through the pot and did not absorb well even if left in water. The flowers look like lavender and smell a bit like lavender, but this is not a type of lavender I have ever seen before and it pretty much stays like in the picture...a few opened bits at the end of what should all be opened flowers. I am very disappointed to give these as gifts because it looks like I spent $9.99

Would never recommend this ...not even to a stranger, let alone friend. The plant looked sort of pretty. It came with lots of tiny blooms & buds, no scent, root bound and hard as a rock soil. It was dead within days.
Please please, if you are considering buying this plant PLEASE don't. I will never buy a living plant from them again.
