Amaryllis make a delightful, festive holiday gift. The bold and beautiful flowers are preceded by a month of anticipation as stems slowly emerge and buds gradually open. "Firecracker" is a dwarf variety that produces full size, 6-8" blooms at half the normal height (just 14-18" tall).

Bought this on sale near the end of December, and it arrived quickly, with no apparent ill effects from sitting outside my door in the cold for a day, because it promptly started to grow. And it has sent up three separate multi-flowered stems, so I am very pleased! The planter is a nice plus and will be reused when I rebloom my amaryllis next year.

This dwarf amaryllis is not only beautiful but it is shorter then most amaryllis so does not tip over. Ordered this after Christmas and it has just bloomed. Brings a touch of spring into house since our winter has been very cold and snowy.

I sent this to my folks before Christmas and was pleased to see that it was thriving when I came for the holidays. Blossoms have not yet opened, but the stalks look plump and healthy. They promised to keep me informed on its growth. I cautioned them to get a stake in it so that it doesn't topple over when the blossoms start opening.

This was a gift to my mom for Christmas, who lives alone in Florida and is home ridden. She called to say it has 11 Blooms! and she loves it. I chose you guys over, say, Jackson Perkins because you offered more cheery plant holders instead of the traditional, sort of serious holders. Plus, I will put it in a garden this summer and she will have another amaryllis next year, besides the one I will order from you next year!
