These plants came to us in great shape; caught on quickly within the garden and look like they are going to provide a terrific crop this year!
Comments about Seascape Strawberries, 25 Plants:
I live in New Mexico. We have lousy soil and a severe climate at times. These are really doing well.
Comments about Seascape Strawberries, 25 Plants:
The plants arrived in great shape, we got them in the ground in a few days, they took right off even the extra one, we planted in raised bed, amended the soil as suggested, mulched with the coccanut husk mulch. Biggest problem now is snipping the blooms as they set on for a while before we can let them go ahead and develop. We have run the gambit of highs and lows in temps since we put them in and they have come through beautifully.
Comments about Seascape Strawberries, 25 Plants:
Planted these "early" for our zone, no berries yet, but they all seem to be thriving.
Comments about Seascape Strawberries, 25 Plants:
I bought and planted these about four weeks ago (planted April 16, 2011). Despite some really nasty weather, all but two or three took root and are going strong. The first flowers appeared last week. I've been dutifully pinching them off as instructed and hope to see actual berries by mid-summer. I couldn't be more pleased.
Comments about Seascape Strawberries, 25 Plants:
[...]Kept in packaging bag for 5 days in fridge until I could get them planted. About a month later, every single plant is looking great! I have blossoms on a few of them, and 2 teeny berries growing on one of the plants. Will change from 4 to 5 stars if fruit is good.
Comments about Seascape Strawberries, 25 Plants:
The plants arrived and I stuck them in the fridge for a week while I finished getting the raised bed ready for them. Was apprehensive opening the package, wondering how they fared. These are the healthiest strawberry plants I've ever received! (and I've purchased many!) The root systems are healthy and well developed. Not one plant looks peaked; they are all top quality! Looking forward to the berries...
Comments about Seascape Strawberries, 25 Plants:
Healthy,robust plants........growing strong!!!!!
Comments about Seascape Strawberries, 25 Plants:
Received 26 plants, rather than 25. All are very healthy and growing ... Since you need to eliminate flowers and runners for 6 weeks, berries have yet to start. From the number of flowers we're taking off, it should be very productive!
Comments about Seascape Strawberries, 25 Plants:
Excellent quality; 100% viable plant count; growing excellent in the desert Southwest.
Comments about Seascape Strawberries, 25 Plants:
All my strawberry plants lived. My patch is looking great for next spring. Runners going everywhere.
Comments about Seascape Strawberries, 25 Plants:
Of the 25 bare root strawberries we bought 4 are still alive and one has green fruit on it. This is not my first unsuccessful attempt to grow strawberries. Everything else in our garden is happy. Perhaps there is a strawberry pot growing secret we don't know.
Comments about Seascape Strawberries, 25 Plants:
The Seascape Strawberry plants arrived alive and well... three weeks later and the first blossoms have turned to green berries. I could not be more pleased and will surely repeat this next year. Thank you.
Comments about Seascape Strawberries, 25 Plants:
The plants arrived and had to wait in the crisper of my refrigerator for a few days while I got the strawberry pots. I planted them and put them outside and within a couple of days green started to show and in a couple of weeks numerous blossoms started to set. Of course the first round of blossoms need to be removed, but it is clear that there will be plentiful berries from these plants.
Comments about Seascape Strawberries, 25 Plants:
I was unable to plant these right away ao I followed the directions for refrigerating them for a few days. All 25 survived beautifully and I am anxiously waiting for the fruit to ripen. The only reason I didn't rate them 5 stars is that I haven't had the chance to taste the berries yet.
Comments about Seascape Strawberries, 25 Plants:
I needed to re-establish a strawberry patch that had been neglected. These plants[...]quickly established themselves in their new home. The plants all arrived looking very healthy with wonderful root systems. I have not had any strawberries yet but the plants are growing well and I am sure I will not be disappointed.
Comments about Seascape Strawberries, 25 Plants:
These strawberries are delicious, imagine in your mind the extremely large flavorless strawberries you get in the grocery store. Now imagine the exact opposite, they may be small but they are amazing, the only downside is that they are only ready a couple at a time and they never make it to the kitchen.
Comments about Seascape Strawberries, 25 Plants:
I got busy and did not get these planted for several weeks. When I did, most survived and are growing well.
Comments about Seascape Strawberries, 25 Plants:
I planted them right away in strawberries pots and the doing GREAT. First time I have had luck with strawberries in Wisconsin.
Comments about Seascape Strawberries, 25 Plants:
We planted these in a 5 x 10 raised bed, in an attempt to contain these over the years. They are growing well, looked green and perky the day after planting. All of the plants are viable. Looking forward to years of sweet yummy strawberries.
Comments about Seascape Strawberries, 25 Plants:
So far these strawberry plants are doing great!! Only lost one or two and the rest are flowering despite the odd weather here now. Am very excited to see how they come out.
Comments about Seascape Strawberries, 25 Plants:
Things didn't work out as I planned so the strawberries had to sit in my refrigerator for over a week. When I finally was able to plant them I wasn't very encouraged about the prospects. All the plants survived and about half of them are already blooming....very impressed.
Comments about Seascape Strawberries, 25 Plants:
When the plants arrived we weren't sure they would grow because they were so small, but were we wrong. We will be supplying the whole neighborhood with strawberries before too long.
Comments about Seascape Strawberries, 25 Plants:
I followed the instructions and put them in the lowest part of my refrigerator until I could plant them. They stayed perfectly for a week. These strawberry plants adapted very well to the containers I planted them in. It's been 3 weeks since I planted and all are thriving (ecxept 3 that the squirrels took!)

Comments about Seascape Strawberries, 25 Plants:
We started a small strawberry patch last year and loved it so much that we wanted to expand. The seascape's "long season" drew our attention. The plants were shipped bare root and planted easily. New growth appeared quickly and there are blossoms and small green berries appearing. Cannot comment yet on fruit taste or length of season but things are going well so far!

Comments about Seascape Strawberries, 25 Plants:
The strawberries grow well in self watering strawberry pots purchased a couple years ago. My children love to pick them for their breakfast cereal. Unfortunately, I have not been successful overwintering the plants.

They arrived during a weeklong deluge. No way I could plant them without being struck by lightning. They sat on my kitchen counter. I was sure they had died, but I planted then anyway. Within a week, they all had new leaves, some already began flowering! These strawberries are the best!!!!

Comments about Seascape Strawberries, 25 Plants:
I just dug up and removed an existing strawberry garden because it was full of invasive plants and weeds. I was apprehensive about how well a bunch of new, bare root strawberries plants would do in the first season. All 25 of the plants (there were actually 26) have thrived so far. I had the bed all prepared so was able to plant them after just a day or two delay. I mulched with straw and mother nature has been keeping them watered. After just a couple of days they had almost doubled in size. I'm very pleased with the quality of the plants [...]

I got these for my granddaughter and she planted them and everyone one lived and we were really surprised as they were quite dry when we got them. She can't wait tell next spring to pick fresh berries.
Comments about Seascape Strawberries, 25 Plants:
Plants were small, but fast to produce fruit which was also small but abundant. Hoping for more out of the plants next season

Comments about Seascape Strawberries, 25 Plants:
The strawberry plants were shipped about 2 weeks before I was ready to plant them. I followed the instructions, kept them moist and in the crisper drawer of the fridge. I wasn't sure all 25 would make it once I started planting, but all 25 look great! Now, we wait to see how the strawberries turn out!

Comments about Seascape Strawberries, 25 Plants:
I had these in the fridge for about a month before it was warm enough to put them out this spring. The roots looked strong, though, so I planted them anyway. All but one grew and that one died only after about a month of rain every day. The first berries reddened about five weeks after planting. We have not had a ton of berries but the ones that we have had are delicious. Just make sure to get some bird netting. My very first ripe berry was stolen by the birds. Since using the netting we have not lost any berries to them. The plants are running stringers like crazy. The directions say to snip them in the first year to promote growth in the mother plant. Right now production has slowed a bit but more blossoms are coming. We look forward to a few years of enjoyment from these plants.
