Made from 80% wood fiber and 20% peat, these pots contain no glues or binders and are certified organic. They provide excellent drainage and aeration and allow roots to grow right through. Developed in France, these pots are used by winemakers to propagate grape vines. The wood fiber comes from sustainably managed forests.

Great idea, not the best outcome

First, I should mention that I'm a beginner at gardening. I was looking forward to growing seedlings with these. Now that I've tried, I'm about ready to give up. These pots grow mold very easily, which makes me think the air circulation for the pots is poor. We are using a heat mat and no lights, so maybe the environment also encourages mold. Next year I'm going to try a different method though.
