My tomatoes were enduring the hottest month ever recorded in Las Vegas NV and it looked like they wouldn't survive because the older leaves had turned brown from the excessive heat. However, after applying the fertilizer to the revolution planters the new growth appeared healthy and green. My other tomatoes without the added organic fertilizer had already died due to heat stress. Thank you for offering a superior product that doesn't burn. My tomatoes are recovering from exhaustion and I expect a nice fall crop.

In my sandy soils this product really boosted the growth of my tomato seedlings. In past years I have had problems with blossom end rot, but I think the phosphorous content in this product has helped cure that. The small bag was enough for one starter application for about 10 tomato plants. If I'd ordered the larger bag I would apply more in early July.

Currently in mid-July and used this product at the beginning of the growing season. Living in a condo, I've opted for container garden tomatoes this year and sprinkled this product on top of the soil and worked it in the soil (as an afterthought). We are experiencing a severe lack of precip in Southeastern PA and I am glad that I got this product when I did as using just plain tap water doesn't yield a tasty fruit. Just yesterday, I took a few cherry tomatoes off the vine and they were mighty tasty. Right after using this product, I noticed my plants taking off with lots of yellow blossoms.

I use this fertilizer with my tomato success kits (I have 2). I can't think of any other fertilizer to use with this; I've always had great success with it. I use more than the recommended amount, it gives me great success with the tomatoes, yet it's safe, never burns. Between this fertilizer and the self-watering planter, I had so many tomatoes last year when all my friends' tomatoes were suffering from too cold/too hot/too wet/too dry weather (typical for Colorado). The only problem I had with this is the paper bag it comes in. I left it in a shed once, and some mice chewed through the bag to get at the fertilizer. I'm not sure if they ate any or not (I'm not sure what that does to the poor critters!), but since then, I've had to transfer the fertilizer into a plastic tub with a lid. Otherwise, safe and reliable product. What more can I ask for?

Since it contains bone meal (as does almost every calcium containing fertilizer) the dogs love it! I can't use it in any patio plants because then my dogs will eat the dirt! I wish that someone would develop a vegan fertilizer...but barring that, this certainly does the job.

This year was not a good year for my garden. We had to much rain, and not enough warm, and sunny days. Do to the weather, the tomatoe's did not really do to well. The plants took alot of time to sprout up, and then the fruit took along time to get big, and ripe. I will give the fertilizer another try next year!!!

I put 1/2 of the fertilizer on my Tomato Success Kit, as instructed. For the first 4 to 6 weeks my tomato and cucumber (planted in the same pot) grew like crazy. Instead of side-dressing the plants with more fertilizer at 4 to 6 weeks (as the instructions recommend), I delayed. My plants turned yellow and stopped growing (either due to too much water or not enough fertilizer). Then when I finally got around to side-dressing the plants, within one week they were growing again and all the new leaves are dark green and healthy.

I use this on the tomatoes that I grow on my proch. I also use it on the seedlings when I put them in the ground in the spring. Usually put it on the in-ground ones once or twice more during the season. I particularly like it for the potted cherries that I grow on the porch. I was concerned originally that I would have all plant and not many tomatoes but that is certainly not a problem. Each summer I grow tomatoes in pots on my deck and this is the second summer this fertilizer has helped produce fabulous and plentiful tomatoes. I have seven large pots that contain two to three tomato plants and a couple of herbs. Every ten days, I sprinkle about 1/2 cup of this around the tomato plants, use a hand rake to lightly work it in the soil and then water as usual. My plants are huge, unbelievably healthy looking and have tons of tomatoes. Judging by the production level of my herbs, they don't mind it either. And there is no odor like I have experienced with other organic fertilizers. I highly recommend this product.

We've had some pretty cool weather here in western WA this spring and summer, so the tomato plant in the hanging planter was just poking along. Our weather is still cool, but after I added the organic fertilizer to the container, my tomato plant took off like a shot. I'm impressed!

I planted organic tomato seeds in the early spring. They started out growing well but a couple of weeks before I was to put them outside, they started to look weak. So I ordered some of the Organic Tomato Fertlizer and scratched a little into the soil. I planted them, they continued to look weak so I bought a couple of hardy looking plants at the local greenhouse to supplement them. Yesterday, I was in the garden and was pleased to see the organic tomatos are doing well now. Patience and Gardener Supplies Organic Fertilizer was the key.

We were late in getting our heirloom tomato plants in the ground this year and feared the heat of summer would be upon us before our small plants developed well established root systems. I ordered this easy to use tomato plant food and sprinkled a small amount into each hole I dug before placing my plants. It couldn't hurt, right?
Each and every plant is strong and thriving and starting to grow. Even the ones that were only three inches tall when we planted them.
We even have our first, albeit tiny at the moment, fruit on one15 inches tall plant.
We fully expected, with our late planting to have lost at least a third of our plants by now, but they're all thriving and getting taller and thick and healthy main stems.
We expect to have a bumper crop of heirlooms this summer and I believe the GSC Organic Tomato Fertilizer should get the majority of the credit for our success.

I've gardened for years and judging on appearance alone I would say this is a top quality organic fertilizer. It's too early in the season to report results but I have a feeling they will be great.
I examined the fertilizer closely and found what appear to be fish scales. I'm impressed. Indians used fish many years ago as fertilizer.

It's difficult to quantify success with a particular fertilizer unless you've done comparisons. I have not done that...
However, this is my third year with the "Tomato Success Kit" and Gardner's Organic fertilizer. I have two of the kits, and seriously doubt that any other nutrient would work better. We actually give away tomatoes from the four stalks we plant. Does that abundance come from the fertilizer, or the kit, or the combination of the two?? I can't say.. But I will continue to order Gardner's organic tomato fertilizer.. Ain't takin' no chances...LOL

Although I have been using GSC Organic Tomato Fertilizer, with great success, for a number of years, I learned of it's superior quality this spring. When I first ordered the fertilizer, a little later than in the past, due to a wedding, I learned that it was out-of-stock, and I was forced to purchase a different organic fertilizer, which was also supposed to be great for tomatoes. I noticed right away that my transplant seedlings were not developing as quickly as they had in past years. When my GSC Org. Tomato Fertilizer arrived about ten days later and I had more seedlings to transplant, into both my raised beds and my GSC self-watering planters, on my deck, I decided to do an experiment. I feed all but one of my new tomato transplants with GSC fertilizer and the one "control" transplant with the other fertilizer. Although each transplant were of the same seed and received the same care, the one "control" plant was much slower to develope additional leaves, the stalk was not as thick, it's size smaller and the fruit slower to set. As a visual speaks for it's self, I've included a photo. Additionally, I use the fertilizer on my peppers and eggplants with equal success. Next year, I'll be placing my order for GSC organic tomato fertilizer in January!

I have tried MANY popular tomato fertilizers in the past and have frequently encountered "tomato end-rot". Well, not so this year. I switched to this easy to use ORGANIC product and my tomato plants have been very prolific producing perfect delicious fruit with NO SIGN OF ANY DISEASE!!! I have used this tomato fertilizer two years in a row. This year to test the efficacy of the fertilizer, I planted most of my tomatoes by adding a half cup of GSC tomatoe fertilizer to a couple of shovels full of compost in the bottom of the planting hole. I planted a couple of plants with out the fertilizer, in compost alone as a control group. So far, in mid-July, the fertilized plants are greatly outperforming the unfertilized plants.

I used this to mix in with the "Self-Watering Container Mix", for the "Gardener's Revolution™ Planter", got two of the "Gardener's Revolution™ Planter" & "Self-Watering Container Mix" used two different Heirloonm Tomato plants, One is doing fantastic, the other is growing slower, I had to move it to more sunny location.
I definitely recommend this

I use this fertilizer for all veggies in our garden. In our community garden, our veggies dwarf those of many other plots, so I can compare my plants' growth with that of others. I like knowing that I am not using harmful chemicals. Plus, measuring does not need to be exact since over fertilizing does not have adverse effects. It's very user friendly. Just shake into the hole or onto the dirt surrounding the plant. Super easy. I buy containers to use as stocking stuffers for green-thumbed relatives & friends. They appreciate the practical holiday gift that gets them thinking about spring planting.

I have started using this product for all of my tomatoes and peppers because, after using it last year, and having such healthy, heavy cropping plants, I decided it had to be something in the fertilizer because I hadn't changed anything else about my tomato planting. For example, I was still using the same variety, mixing in the same amount of compost, using the site with the same amount of sun, and so on. The only change was the fertilizer. They were really beautiful plants, 10 in all, and I canned almost 60 quarts!

Tomato plants grew well and showed no signs of nutrient lack. Also, thus far have not had problem with blossom end rot, which had been a problem in other years, especially with Roma and plum tomatoes, even though this has been a very wet year for us.

I have been using this in all of my containers on my deck. Especially the upside ones off the deck. I have 2 tomato plants in the bottom of all of them,and bell peppers, hot peppers, and cucumbers growing in the tops of others, in 5 gallon buckets. In this heat they have to be watered everyday, and I give each one a scoupe of GSC Organic Tomato Fertilizer,once a week,after the tomatos start producing. I am very satisified.

In our area we have a multitude of white tail deer. It is difficult to keep them away from our plants even with an iron gate on the patio---they will stick their heads through the bars as far as they can to nibble the tops off all edible vegetation. This year I left one grow pot too close to the fence and found several tomato plants that were blooming cown to about 6inches in heighth. They have readily made a comeback with the help of adequate tomato fertilizer and water. Tomatoes will be late, but we will enjoy them all the more.
