    I DECIDED TO USE THESE FOR MY SEEDLINGS. THE PROBLEM IS, IN A SEED STARTER, THAT KEEPS THE MOISTURE IN, THE STAKES DO SOAK UP THE MOISTURE.
    USING A SHARPIE TO WRITE, BLEEDS INTO THE WOOD, AND THE MOISTURE DOESN'T HELP.
    CHEAP ENOUGH THOUGH IT'S GOOD ENOUGH FOR SEEDLING LABELING.

    A good, inexpensive marker! Easy to mark with pen, pencil, or marker. Use them for seedlings and transplants. Erase the name or use the other side and get double use. Keep them dry so they don't rot, and they will last for years.

    I like using these in my seed-starting pots to label what I've got, then just put them in the garden with the peat pot when they're ready to go in. Easy to use. Names show up better with Black Sharpie Pen than using some metal markers.

    These are not at all the right material for outside markers. They do not hold up or remain readable when wet. Plastic markers as supplied with the starter sets are MUCH better.
