Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

Our family purchased a number of 6-inch and 10-inch raised bed corners to make installing a garden at our new home easy and we are extremely happy with the results. The corners look clean and well-made and were remarkably simple to put together. We used heavy-duty staples and attached a layer of weed blocker fabric and 1/4-inch metal fabric to the underside of each bed to keep out weeds and moles. I'd recommend this product to anyone.

Makes for easy rasied beds
By Novice gardenerVerified Purchaser from Bloomington, IL on 5/27/2011
Pros:
Attractive Design, Extends Season, Solid Construction
Cons:
Set up is teadious
Best Uses:
Decoration, Protect Garden
Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

These are a great alternative to expensive, pre-fabricated raised beds. You have to purchase your own wood, but it's pretty cheap and most big home stores will cut the wood to whatever size you want. The assembly is a little time consuming and teadious, but it's not impossible, especially if you have a power drill. I think it took me about an hour or so. I would reccomend these to anyone who is handy with tools and doesn't mind the minor labor required.

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

The only problems I see are that the dimensional lumber purchased at the lumberyard are NOT the same size (height) as the brackets. lumber is not as tall as the bracket. Also-- the brackets we purchased so we could have double height boxes are sized so that they slip all the way down into the bottom bracket rather than wedging in or having a stop mark on the corner bracket you are inserting them into. We are using a 12 in bracket on the bottom with a 12 inch bracket on the top for a 24 inch hign box. We find we will have to drill the bottom set of brackets and use a screw to hold the extension bracket in position, not such a good thing. Not sure what we will do about the lumber being not as tall as the bracket.

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

I was glad I ordered these sturdy corners for my raised beds. They make it easy to set up the beds. Last year I didn't have them for my first raised beds. I could have saved money and done it myself instead of hiring a guy to do it. This year I had all the wood cut at the Home Center and came home and screwed them together in no time.
Very nice!

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

I bought four courner pieces and two inline connectors several years ago and built a raised bed that is 12 ft long & 6 ft wide. This year, I ordered the same pieces again, along with the "stakes" that allow you to build one on top of the other, so you can effectively make raised beds as deep as you want. Very easy to put together. I think that these also help to keep the boards from warping over time, as the end of your lumber slides into the slots, keeping everything aligned nicely.

Love this product. I had the raised garden bed assembled in about 20 minutes - a piece of cake! The brackets look good and appear that they will weather well. We built a raised garden bed for our preschool as a seasonal science project. The raised bed went together easily. Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

These well designed and well built corners allowed me to build the 4 raised beds I envisioned for my vegetable garden. They are easy to use and sturdy. The beds took about 1/2 hour each to build. Caution: use standard lumber; I tried to use "rough-cut" to keep the cost down and I had to take the boards back to the local lumber company to sand them down to the standard dimensions. Recommendation: make sure you spend a little time to level the ground before you build, or you will end up with lop-sided beds.

I am so pleased to have these beautiful sturdy beds in my garden, which I designed and built myself! You can make the beds any dimension, shape or height to suit your needs.

I recommend these corners as an easy way to build the raised beds of your dreams!

Took them out of the boxes and all are correct size and all holes were pre-drilled. Have not had a chance to assemble, but got the 2 x 10's cut, and then it rained, rained, 20 inches in a week.. Waiting for them dry out to treat with Thompson's Water Seal. This will add 3 - 5 1/2 x 11, and 1 - 3 x 6 to the 5280 ft2 garden. Plan on getting them done this weekend; will place weed barrier between the raised beds and the existing soil

Have ordered from you for many years, and have always been pleased with your products.

Keep up the good work.

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

I had to use raised beds because the soil in my yard was clay and I had no success with a vegetable garden. I purchased the hexagon raised bed corners six years ago from Garden's Supply and decided to put an additional raised bed on each side of it. I purchased the 10" raised bed corners this year and lumber and the assembly was a breeze. I love my raised vegetable beds!! I will be installing a drip irrigation system to water and then I will then be able to sit back and enjoy the fruits of my labor. What a great quality item much better than the cheap plastic versions on the market. Check out my picture of the assembled vegetable beds in my back yard.

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

If you are following the guidance of Mel Bartholomew's Square Foot System, here are a couple of things to consider with this product: 1) I like a slightly taller box (8" over his recommended 6") and this product can support several box heights; 2) because the corners of the planks don't overlap, your gardening area increases due to non- overlapping corner fittings; 3) which results in true square foot plot measurements. Great corner system that is ultra easy to set up.

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

For over 10 years, I have constructed raised vegetable/flower beds by screwing together planks of untreated pine. I'm not a carpenter and trying to get the the bed square was always difficult. Last year, I bought these raised corners and repaired/replaced three of the beds. I could not believe how much easier this was!! So much so, that this year I bought several more sets. The strong metal corners allow each board to remain upright while the rest are positioned - then you just screw them in the predrilled holes. The straighter the board, the easier it is. However, there will aways be one board that is somewhat bent!! I've found that, depending on the amount of bend, this can be recitifed by either hammering the board into the corner or sanding/chiseling until it is reduced enough to slip in. I wouldn't consider building a bed without these corners. If you are still uncertain---I am a 60+ year old female and I build these without assistance!

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

We created a sunny 8' raised bed around a bird house, using discarded redwood boards from a deck repair. I love staying green by recycling a throw away. It forms a new garden plot to grow veggies and reduce our fresh food costs! I'll share photos when it's up and growing!

Cons:

Best Uses:

Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

I thought these corners would fit standard 2x4 lumber but the lumber was too big and we had to trim down the ends of the lumber to fit in the channels of the corners. This was alot of extra work as I thought we could just slide the boards into the channels and put in the screws.

Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

I have 4 of the 12" in use. I agree that a set of 4 in a package is more desirable. Who would use just two? The corners come with two screw holes per board. I added one more hole between the two, and then three on the "inside" which were offset from the others. 2X12 lumber is heavy, and the more screws the better. In fact, it could be made of a heavier gauge aluminum. The corners are not sized for dimensional lumber. My 2x12's are actually 1 1/2 x 11 1/4", so I have an overhang on the bottom. Just wasted aluminum stock as it contributes nothing to the joint. The sides squeeze in, putting a strain on the extrusion. For all my gripes, have not seen a better commercial product on the market. But there are few things which cannot be improved.

fit issues and poor hardware qaulity
By Human in CupertinoVerified Purchaser from Cupertino, CA on 4/24/2011
Pros:
Attractive Design, Weather Resistant
Cons:
Difficult to Set-Up
Describe Yourself:
Do-It-Yourself
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

Be sure to check the thickness of the wood you're using. I purchased 2X12" redwood prior to receiving my corners only to discover that the thickness of the wood needs to be just right to fit into the channels. As a result, I had to cut a notch on the ends to get it to work (see pic). Also, the screws that came with the corners are made of soft steel. Even with generous pilot holes it was hard to drive them without stripping the heads. If I had to do it again, I would use 4X4s for the corners and save a lot of time.

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

We built three 4'x4', 12" high vegetable beds with these corners and they were perfect. I initially balked at the price, but the beds are so sturdy and attractive that I don't mind the extra investment in good corners.

It does help to have a partner to hold the lumber in place while you drill the screws in - it keeps the top of the bed level when your ground underneath is not so level. I'm also planning on getting some 2"x2" tall posts to slide into each corner so we can wrap netting around the bed for an inexpensive screen to keep the deer out.

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

These raised bed corners are great! I used them last year, and they survived the first brutal winter, so I bought another set this year and just set up the bed last week. They are a little difficult to use if you assemble them on the ground, so I would suggest using a workbench if the size of the bed you are building is not too large.

Square Foot Gardening
Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

I used the 12" brackets to make a 4 foot square raised garden bed. The brackets are sturdy and all we needed to do to set up the bed was buy the lumber, cut it to the size we wanted and screw on the brackets. The reason I bought these was because I used the 10" brackets about 3 years ago to make a raised bed and they are still holding strong with no cracks or chips in the finish. They are pricey, but given that the bed is 12 inches deep, the cost was still less than anything that could be purchased as a kit. And, while it is significantly cheeper to build a raised bed with just some lumber and screws, these brackets add stability and attractiveness to the bed. Plus, while I haven't tried it yet, I think that the hole in the corner of each bracket which is covered with a plastic cap could be used to support a trellis, which will be convenient. So far, I've built four beds with these brackets and plan to build several more.

My garden is on a slope. Rather than building raised beds I make terraces.I use two corners to construct a three sided frame to level the soil. So far it is working well.I did have an installation
problem. The pre-drilled holes were too small for the screws in the kit. I had to drill them out.So far the plan is working well. You might want to size corners so that 1x6 boards can be used . over all I'm pleased with the results.Check back in a year or two for final report.

I love love love these. I'm a Mom with two (5yr old and 7yr old) garden helpers. I was able to construct my new raised beds (20' x 4') easily by myself with this hardware. My frame is strong, stable and and square!!!

Only two small drawbacks--the corners of the hardware are sharp and if they stick up even slightly above the edge of the lumber you can catch yourself. Second, I would prefer if the screws were drilled from the outside instead of the inside of the frame (so that any future maintenance doesn't require digging out access to the screws).

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

First, great product. However it was a bit more work than I had expected because...I did NOT use standard lumber. The big box guys in Denver do not carry 2x12's in cedar so I ordered from a lumber company. The 2x12's came in non-standard dimensions. So I had to chisel a small section out to fit the corners. My fault for not asking if it was standard lumber. Be sure to ask if you want cedar in large dimensions.

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

We used these to put a raised bed over our septic tank cover. They look really nice with the wood composite lumber that we used. However, since a 2x4 is actually a bit smaller than 2" by 4", these corners are 3/4 inch too tall with two boards stacked. They leave very sharp corners exposed. We will have to use the dremel tool to saw off or round the corners as we have young children. The sharp edges are an emergency room visit waiting to happen.

The raised bed corners are very easy to use. Putting the screws in is a challenge. One thing to remember is that only smooth red cedar boards will fit in the slots, rough cedar is too thick. I have a great lumber company that provides the smoothing service , especially for 2x8 and 2x12 boards.

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

I have wanted raised beds at my home for a few years but the thoughts of doing it from scratch just kept me from making them. I finally broke down and bought these corners thinking they may be a bit more then I wanted so spend but I wasn't doing the beds on my own.

Boy, are they nice! All I had to do was go to the lumber store and buy three 8' long 2x12 boards. The lumber company cut one board into two 3 feet long lengths. All I had to do is bring them all home, screw the corners on the lumber, and fill the box with soil and compost. Wa-lah! Raised bed! A think of beauty!

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

These raised bed corners are real time- and labor-savers. The only problem I have had was that this spring I noted the heads of about half of the screws securing the corners to the sides of the beds had broken off. My best guess is that I tightened them down too hard, and when we had a freeze the contraction snapped the screw heads off. This year when I assembled a few more beds, I avoided cinching the screws down tight to allow a little room for exapansion and contraction.

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

The raised bed corners are great...very sturdy, attractive, it was easy to assemble the raised bed. Only minor glitch was that the cedar wood we used was slightly larger than the space on the corner bracket so we had to whittle it down a little to make it fit...we didn't check to see whether the wood was larger than expected or the brackets were smaller than expected but the finished results were great. We ordered additional sets to make more raised beds. We are very pleased!

I was very pleasantly surprised at how strong the corners are and how easy it was to use them to build a raised flower bed! This is the summer I vowed I would build some raised beds to have a garden. After looking at several friend's raised beds to get some ideas I couldn't help but notice how they were separating at the corners. So easy to construct that "a girl" with a power drill can do it. Yahoo, my garden is finally here!

This product is well made and aesthetically pleasing. We took it with us to the lumber yard to get the correct wood dimensions and the employees there passed it around asking where it was from. I have already recommended it.

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

Solid construction, looks nice holding up my 6 inch cedar boards for my raised vegetable garden bed. They were easy to use, holes were pre-drilled, and you even get an extra one or two screws with it, how often do you see that any more? A little pricey, which is the *only* reason I gave these a 4 instead of a 5. On the other hand, you get what you pay for. I'll probably get another 4 or 8 of the 8 inch brackets for additional beds, next year. I am just hoping for another sale to help out with the price.

Best Uses:
Protect Garden
Bottom Line:

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

We have shifting ground and knew w/in 3 years a 6 inch raised bed would be ground level so we opted for the 12" high pieces. Created 2 6'x12' raised beds using composite lumber (decking trim in 12"x12' size cut to order). DH appreciated the pre-drilled holes b/c we were shocked at how heavy the pieces were- estimate about 1 lb EACH- especially since they're supposed to be aluminum. (Hopefully this means they'll last as advertised). One downfall was the slots for boards are uniformly 2 inches wide and by using composite wood, we had to cut 1" shims to fill in the gap. Once done, we slid shim and composite together through the slots and drill them into place. So far, so good. Definately can hold 6' long board but don't go much longer or you'll get bowing. Best corners & connectors on the market.

We are a non-profit organization that is working in communities in Union County, N.J. to plan, design, assemble, and utilize community gardens in public locations. We have used these corners in a church, a day care center, a YMCA, and other public venues. The corners make it a snap to assemble raised beds, so we can build, fill, and plant in a very short period of time on the same day. This is our second year using the corners and the winter has had no effect on their performance.

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

I have been making raised beds over the years and want one at my new house but I want some smaller and did not want to invest a lot of money in it as I had in the past. Plus I wanted something that I could take with me if and when I move.

Previously I used 4x4 timbers, drilled holes in the corners and drove rebar into them to secure them. I spent about $200 dollar in lumber, $25 or so in rebar and it took about 2400 pounds of dirt to fill the 4'x8'x16" raised beds. And it took one whole day to build and fill.

With the corner pieces, I purchased less than $50 worth of lumber, it took about an hour to put together and another hour to fill the 4'x6'x12" raised bed with dirt. I have been enjoying planting vegetables and watching them grow, now I'm looking forward to tasting the fruits of my labor.

The raised bed corners are wonderful. I love them.

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

I would give this item a 5 star rating except that when I purchased my first sets years ago (4) corners came to a box not the (2) that were in the recent order. However due to shifting and reconfiguring my garden after renovations I needed more corner supports. That said this is a timeless product. I can't comment on the durability of the sides that come with a complete raised bed kit of any kind. However with these raised corner beds the 1 1/2" thick custom cut untreated boards I always use last years and years. The choice of board also allows me to place a roofing nail every foot along the edge. This then allows me to loop and run string around the nails to partition off 1 sq. ft. sections within the bed. The corner pieces are also great for placing a support pole in if you don't install the corner cap thereby allowing the construction of a trellis for the bed. Finally there must be enough heat retention because when I was under renovation and had to use my vegetable beds to hold plantings for transplant after the work was done I had a litter of rabbits tucked in one of the beds. They were under only a light sprinkling of straw I placed over the exposed dirt in the beds to aid the plants and keep the soil from harsh weather.

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

These raised corners are wonderful. I have six raised beds (various heights) made with these corners, side extensions, and three of the six beds use corner extenders. As we have a woodchuck (groundhog, marmot, garden destroyer) problem here, I use balusters, deck screws, insulators, wire and a solar fence charger to thwart the salad bar freeloaders. A fair amount of work, and a rechargeable drill helps. Also if your lumber is warped, a rubber hammer is nice. I connect the corners to the long lumber first, then work in the shorter sides. Goes well.

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

I ordered my first raised bed corners three summers ago and they are still good as new. I have added additional raised beds each of the past two summers, also using these corners. They make assembling a raised bed a snap...5-10 minutes. I purchased the 8 inch corners and use cedar lumber. The beds I made three summers ago look good as new and make garden chores a breeze. They are not cheap, but as a friend says, "Buy quality and you'll only cry once." These are high quality and I expect them to last for many years, making them a good value despite the up front cost.

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

Here in North Carolina, the soil is solid clay, so raised beds are the best way to go. Although they appear expensive, they are very well-made and heavy, and hold the 2x lumber well. We got 10" corners and connectors to create a perennial herb garden and a separate vegetable garden, and so far the look and heft of the corners/connectors and ease of gardening convince me that it was a good investment. When used the with the Gardener's Supply online garden tool, it's a snap to set up and tend your garden. Be sure to read the advice about how to create a raised bed garden for tips and process. Bonus: You can choose the 'look' of your garden by the color of penetrating oil you use on the lumber, so match your deck or house, if you wish. Great product!

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

I made the beds in an hour or so. The hardest part was putting in the screws. The boards must be absolutely straight or they won't fit into the corners. The corners are terrific. They are strong and sturdy. I wish they were cheaper so I could order more of them. I don't know if the plastic caps in the corners will pop out eventually, but I've only had the beds for a month. So far, so good. A very easy way to make raised beds. Plus, the corners are reuseable if I decide to rearrange the beds.

My 2 x 6 cedar did not fit the corners

Describe Yourself:

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

The 2 x 6 by 8 foot long cedar I got did not fit into the corners. The corners are more than a 1/16 of an inch too small. I thought 2x6 was a standard size but something is wrong. Also, there are holes in the corners and they give you the screws but the screws don't fit thru the holes. I am not happy with this product at all.

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

These bed corners have held up well in my northern Minnesota garden, where we regularly experience winter temperatures in the -20's or even -30's. They look as good as the day they were set out, and have held my 8 ft. long bed in place admirably, even though it's less than perfectly level. They have no corrosion that I can see, and the wood has not shifted at all. For large beds, I think they're worth every penny!

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

I purchased two sets of the 12" corners last year so that I could construct raised beds for my flowers. I live in an area where the soil is mostly heavy clay. Most of the flowers I have planted die due to the bad drainage. These are wonderful, very attractive and sturdy enough that I am sure they will last several years. They are also very easy to put together. My flowers are doing great. I love them so much that I bought two more sets this year. I'm going to try veggies this time. If that goes well, I'll be back for more.

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

Having already ordered two raised bed kits, I ordered the 12" corners to construct another bed in the center of the other two. The kits include corners and 1" thick cedar boards so I was surprised that I was unable to purchase corners that same size. I further found it almost impossible to find 2" thick cedar boards. So I would have preferred to be able to purchase corners by themselves to construct a raised bed with 1" lumber. But otherwise, these corners look great and make constructing the beds so easy.

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

We replaced our scrap wood raised beds with something more attractive and permanent this year. We used the 12 inch corners and inline connectors with 2x6 unfinished cedar boards cut to 4 foot lengths. Take your corners with you when you get your boards so you will know if the boards will fit or whether you need to shave down the ends a bit. We have not used the plastic caps for the tops of the corners yet as we're using those holes for trellises and fence posts. Preparation of area as well as construction and filling of beds took one weekend. So far we are very pleased with our purchase...well worth the $$ for us.

I live in the city, so a full garden is hard to achieve in my limited space. I decided to try a raised bed. I bought the corners and the in-line connectors to make a 4x12 bed. I had the gentleman at [@] cut a few 12" boards into 4' sections, threw them in the backseat of my car, and drove home. The boards slid easily into the brackets, but did not wiggle around. I did use the screws that came with the kits to help keep the boards perfectly straight. (this was the first time I'd used a drill!) It was super-easy and quick.

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

GS started off on a bad foot with this order by forgetting to even include these corners in my shipment. This delayed my ability to build a veggie garden bed and get my seeds in the ground on time. Once received, the corners look good and made building my own vegetable garden bed an approachable task. However, the screws that came with the corners were junk and I wasted a great deal of time trying to get them to penetrate simple 2x4s. I wound up at Home Depot for wood screws. Now that the bed is constructed and filled, I'm happy with the look.

I used this item to create raised garden beds in my yard. These are well made, very sturdy and should last a lifetime. I checked other sites and similar products are plastic at a price that is not much cheaper. Get these and you will not be disapointed. Couple these with good quality lumber and you will have a bed that lasts.

I built a 20" high, 4'x 4' bed for my vegetable garden using these corner brackets. I stacked the lumber so that they overlapped the seams of the stacked brackets. It worked great! The corners are well-built and strong. They were easy to use and look really nice. I would highly recommend these brackets. (*note: you do need a drill or screwdriver to fasten the wood to the brackets via the pre-drilled holes to keep everything in place)

I was really excited to make my first garden with these corners. They are really sturdy, however, you may want to use sturdier screws as one of the screw heads has already detached on mine. The ground that I have my garden on is also not even all around, so I would recommend leveling the ground before putting up a box garden - especially with this product.

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

I bought the wood before I ordered the Raised Bed Corners, which come in 6, 8, 10 and 12 inches. I ordered the 8" even though I needed 9 inch. I installed the corners so the top was even with the top of the boards, but there is an ugly gap at the bottom and I'm a little nervous about the sharp bottom edges being exposed and kids or pets possibly cutting their feet.

They were easy to install by myself and make a better looking and much stronger corner than I could with a million screws and "L" brackets.

Some of the wood we used was swollen and hard to fit into the edges, but I hammered it in and the corners worked fine even if I couldn't get the wood all the way in. The decorative top pieces are ingenious and fit into the brackets even when I had hammered one so that it was no longer square. My husband screwed the screws right in without having to predrill any holes.

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

I purchased and installed 4 sets (2 corners per set) of the 10" raised bed corners for two 4'x8' raised beds. I would definitely recommend them with the following suggestions: 1) level your site first; 2) use a level to set up the sides of your bed; 3) use straight lumber. I re-used old 2"x10"x8's, several of which were slightly warped, and was able pound them into the corners with a hammer. The corners show little evidence of this process, so they are pretty sturdy. Securing them with the screws provided should keep everything in place, but the screws may work themselves out depending on what your climate is like. I considered the less expensive hard plastic corners on the market, but was concerned that after several years here at 7,000 feet with the intense sunlight and temp extremes that they would get brittle.

I used the 12" corners for a 3x8 raised garden bed. With these corners you definately get all of the 3x8 growing room and the corners are sturdy which enhances the whole frame of the grow box. You need to make certain the 2x12s you use are straight so they will fit nicely into these corners.

We used these along with the in-line connectors to build raised beds for an herb garden. They made the job quick and easy and gave it a professional look! I highly recommend using these if you are building raised bed planters. We used composite lumber, couldn't find 2 x 6 but were able to find 1 x 6 composite decking. But we put in some nuts at the end of the bolts that were provided and it all fit perfectly. The corners look perfect. I also like that we could add another level with these if we decide at a later time. Will try to add photos.

Purchased corners to make raised vegetables beds. Used 2"x8"x4' untreated lumber. Predrilled the holes, then screwed in the corners. I then stained the wood and corners with solid-color stain to help keep moisture out of the wood. Laid out the boxes on level ground, then filled with a soil mix. This was an easy project that gave a neat, organized appearance to the vegetable area, and allowed earlier planting because of being raised.

I had previously built small raised beds that were screwed together with deck screws, but the problem was that they could not be built to a decent depth to provide good soil without warping and twisting. Raised beds I had built for my clients were costly and labor intensive, requiring 4x4 corner posts set in cement and lag screws. While they were lovely, they were also expensive and exhausting to build. I am looking forward to seeing how these beds hold up.

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

I redid my raised beds with these after the old wooden corner braces just got tired after 10 years, re-utililizing the existing lumber. I lined the beds with 1/4" hardwire to keep the gophers out.

These are so much easier than building your own braces and really are much sturdier. Although they come with a cap for the top of the corner, I left mine off. This enabled me to run the drip through the "legs" and make a cover for the top of the bed to protect from frost or sun and the cover's legs fit into the brace holes.

I have redone 3 existing raised beds and added another one. Probably will add one more before spring. Love, love, love these!!

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

Bought the 12 inch corners and in-line connectors for a big (for us) new veggie garden, and a small raspberry patch. Our old garden was falling apart, and I wanted an indestructible one. These did a GREAT job helping us get square corners and solid junctions. They look great, and are far sturdier than any similar product. I shopped around and planned this for a long time, and while they feel expensive when you order, the quality is so much better than the others out there. It is well worth it to have a quality product so I can just concentrate on growing, rather than repairing!

Attractive Design, Makes it easy to assemble, Solid Construction
Cons:
A bit pricey but worth it
Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

These corners made it so much easier to assemble my raised beds. I used heart grade redwood and my beds are really solid using these corners. A tip to avoid stripped screws. Pre drill the holes and HAND SCREW them in. Do not use a drill.
I did not have any problems assembling this way. The caps fit tightly and my raised beds look great. I had them put together in about 30 minutes. Then added the hardware cloth for gophers.

Pros:
Attractive Design, Solid Construction, Weather Resistant
Cons:
Difficult to Set-Up
Best Uses:
Protect Garden

Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

The product for raised beds is good, attractive and a good design, which should result in usefull raised gardening beds. However the main problem I had was assembling them with the screws supplied. The fur wood I used was too hard for the screw to be driven in, especially since the holes in the metal bed were not wide enough to allow for screw to enter if not perfectly centered , so pilot holes were necessary in the wood and still had difficulty due to screw contacting the metal. also advertisements said how easy it was to contruct a raised bed, which the asembly porblems and work digging out the soil, it has been anything but easy, and contructing four large 16 foot by 5 foot beds has been a lot of work, but the results so far have been very nice and attractive

Pros:
Attractive Design, Solid Construction, Weather Resistant
Best Uses:
Decoration, Protect Garden
Describe Yourself:
Handyman
Bottom Line:

Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

Other than the screws, which have easy to strip heads, the connectors are very attractive, solid, precise, and durable. I have a not-so-unique ability to build parallelogram-shaped garden boxes, so I appreciate how this one makes right angles perfectly. I stripped a couple screws, so ended up using some square head decking screws, which don't strip and should hold up a bit better.
