Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
I wanted a raised bed for my veggie garden. This was the perfect size and shape. I added a small strip of rubber mulch all the way around and just rested the edge of the wood on the mulch strip. Should be EASY to mow around now. However, it is not so easy to assemble. Once I pre-drilled a hole for the screws, it went together much easier. Overall, I am quite happy with this raised bed.
Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
This is my second one. Last summer I tried it and loved it...the original has taken on a beautiful grey patina, the new one just gave me additional space for my vegetables...if I could I would add more.
Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
Instructions state that it is easy to assemble and the holes are pre drilled. IT IS NOT EASY TO ASSEMBLe and THE HOLES ARE NOT PRE DRILLED.
Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
Easy to build!

Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
The first 6x9 garden was a bit hard to assemble. It would have been easier if the holes had been pre-drilled. But when the second one came, we borrowed a drill and it was a snap! They are beautiful....neighbors have commented on them.
Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
This raised bed allows this gardener with a bad back to continue to raise tomatoes, peppers, onions, garlic.
Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
I ordered two of these beds and am VERY pleased with them. The quality is excellent. They were very easy to put together for my husband [who is very good with tools].....I love the classy look of the copper corners, they add a nice look to my yard and I cannot wait to get the vegetables growing in them....They are exactly what I wanted and the size is perfect...I would order another two if I had the space for them!
Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
It blends well with a landscaped yard

Installed in fall. Perfect size to reach rear from front. Looks good for neighbors who became garden watchers. Can grow plenty of produce. Will probably buy a second.

Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
These raised beds are as close to perfect as you can get. They were all they were supposed to be.I preferred the metal corners into which you simply added the cut boards, however these were not available at the specific time that I needed them. Your staff stayed on the line with me for quite a while, always cheerful and patient, brainstorming other possibilities and we finally settled on the copper cornered raised beds which came with all pieces for assembly. In retrospect, even though they are pricier, everything we needed was in the box, and they were assembled in under a half hour! Amazing! Nothing is usually this easy. Also, I believe, at one month out, that the copper caps about which I was initially hesitant, thinking that they would be too fancy, actually deter the rabbits. I have seen them in the yard, but my beautiful crop of lettuce is still untouched. I think the glint of copper in the moonlight scares them off. At the same time, the copper is not bright and flashy like I thought it would be and looks quite nice in the backyard. I have rarely found a product that I could recommend without hesitation and fully endorse. Actually, I have never written one of these reviews about anything even though I always read them[...]

Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
I just love this raised bed and it is the second one I have ordered. I will continue to purchase this particular style because of the quality and attractiveness of the piece. Even through severe winter weather it has held up great. The only complaint I have is putting it together. Pre-drilled holes would make a world of difference in assembling this product. Other than that it is a wonderful addition to your outdoor space.

Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
Although it's a little pricey for how it's built (not as sturdy as I thought it would be), I would definitely recommend it to a friend. My husband & I purchased it for garden use, but we didn't get to plant as many items as the "square gardening" guide lead us to believe. That being said, however, the raised bed is beautiful & the copper caps add a touch of class, so we'll buy another one next year to increase the size of our food plot. FYI - If you live in the country like we do, we found that the tall bird cover fits nicely over our garden & does a SUPERB job of keeping out the wildlife!

Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
Sturdy and Beautiful. It was a little challenging to put together maybe because my helpers are 4 and 6 years old. You need someone to hold the pieces as you screw them together. Would have been easier with predrilled holes. Other than that it's beautiful and sturdy. My jealous neighbors are hanging over the fence. So far I've planted strawberries, tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, cucumbers, and sweet potatoes. Having everything in one spot makes for easy watering.

Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
It didnt take long to put together. I had my seedlings planted and watered in the same day. It is a beautiful item and I am considering purchasing another.
Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
I assembled this raised bed myself and it was very straight forward and easy to do. Now, we have a full garden (a combo of the high yield and kid's garden on your site). It's such a great raised bed and we're thinking of buying another so we can have even more great veggies!

Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
I have two of these raised beds and have been very satisfied with their construction and durability. I agree with other commenters that it would be ease installationn if the screw holes were pre-drilled. Other than that minor frustration, I'm very pleased with the product

Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
The product is gorgeous [...].Assembly would have been much easier if the corner posts had been pre-drilled. I assembled six of these, and highly recommend using a cordless drill to pre-drill the holes before attempting to insert the screws. Also, I found the screws provided to be made of low-grade, soft metal. Setting them aside and using hex-head screws which I bought separately instead saved a lot of aggravation, and spared my wrist as well, since I was able to use a socket wrench to drive them.If you're planning a raised-bed garden using multiples of this item, you should be aware that the outside dimensions of the assembled units are about 6 inches greater on each side than the stated size--i.e., the 3x3 beds measure 3'6" by 3'6" and the 3x6 beds measure 3'6" by 6'6" on the outside. Plan your layout accordingly to avoid taking up more real estate (or ending up with narrower paths) than you intended.
Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
I purchased this raised bed with my "stimulus" money last spring. I assembled it and planted pole beans for a fall crop.
Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
I bought three of these raised beds two years ago and love them! Maintaining the soil is easy and weeding is a dream! Weeds pull out so easily. I have just added three more to my yard! They look great and are so easy to use! Enjoy!

This has been such a wonderful addition to my garden. My vegetables are thriving and having a raised bed makes caretaking all the easier. The copper caps are a beautiful touch.

Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
It took just 20 minutes for 2 of us to unpack, assemble & place the frame.
Nice quality cedar - all parts aligned easily.
Best features are the ample depth & tidy appearance of this raised bed.
We transplanted squash & tomato seedlings started from seed in peat pots.
I think we can squeeze in a sweet potato as well.
Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
I bought this specifically to hold my blueberry plants near the back of my house and wanted it to be a "show piece". Even though it took some time, I was able to assemble the planter by myself. Now I can't wait to start picking blueberries right out my back door!
Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
This is my second one, great way to expand your space.

Love it, however it would be very helpful if all the screw holes were predrilled. Very difficult to put the screws in.

Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
Planting beds arrived promptly and were fairly easy to put together. We planted vegetables & herbs in ours. To fill a 3x6 bed, you will need A LOT of dirt! Looking forward to our summer crops.
Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
A bit too expensive
Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
First time purchase, bought 2 smaller 3'X 3', liked them so much, then purchased the larger 3'X 6'. EASY TO ASSEMBLE, my 22 year old son having no problems. Looks great, many compliments. All the vegetables are fine.
Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
It looks beautiful, holds a lot of plants, just the right seize for a city garden vegetable grower
Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
It's too new to offer many comments. It looks great, is a nice size and was easy to assemble.
Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
I already had planter beds that were ringed with concrete and the raised beds fit right on the top and raised my planting area up to where it is easier for me to work with my arthritis! I love them & hope to buy more when I can afford them!
Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
This was our first raised bed. It was very hard putting together. Also, holes were not lined up for screws. My husband is very strong and still hurt his hands with assembly. A bit over priced.

Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
Very attractive with the copper tops, which were easy to nail into the posts. However, attaching the posts to the sides required two persons and a drill. For the price, holes should have been pre-drilled.

Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
I bought a raised bed so that I could plant a true vegetable garden versus using pots. So far I love this bed. It is beautiful cedar, and the copper caps give it a distinctive look. I wanted a bed that had solid construction and enough depth to plant root vegetables. And my veggies are flourishing!!! (I recommend filling the bed with a mixture of compost and soil).
It was a little difficult to put together, mostly because it was rather unwieldy. Also, some of the cedar pieces didn't match up exactly. I found that it was helpful to have an extra set of hands around to hold the sides in place while I drove in the screws. I highly recommend!
Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
I have been considering a raised bed for several years. After trying to grow tomatoes in three or four different areas/containers and not succeeding, i decided to try this raised bed. my tomatoe plants are the best. i started with organic soil and three plants. i protected them with the cones sold here and now they are full and tall and so many baby tomatoes growing and flowers that will be. This is wonderful for control and appearance.
Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
This raised garden bed is easy to assemble and is a nice addition to our growing garden area.
Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
It was a bit expensive, but really worth the price. This garden bed looks really attractive, it was easy to assemble and has plenty of capacity. The depth is 10" and you can grow great garden vegetables. My tomatoes and cucumbers are thriving. It looks very neat in my back-yard and many people have commented on it. I really love this garden bed
Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
Love having a raised bed. So much easier on the back and to get around to all plants. Looks very good in the yard. Did have to put chicken wire around it to keep the bunnies out, but easy to do. Would be helpful if it included a recommended "recipe" for the soil mix. I winged it with a mix of topsoil, mulch, and manure. So far (July), the vegggies are still alive and blossoming!

Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
Used the product to grow tomatoes, cucumbers, and basil. Plants are growing well although getting crowded as bed is only 4x4 (I got carried away with the number I planted.) However, I noticed yesterday something dug a hole on the side close to the wall of my home. I covered the hole but it got dug up again. Never had this in my non-raised bed plot 3 years ago.
The assembly was a nightmare as the wood is cedar and instructions on order of assembly not well set out. My husband scraped his palm trying to drill the holes for the screws. We bought an electric drill to ease the procedure but that didn't work out. My husband then burned his finger touching the hot screw that wouldn't go into the plank. We had to install the bed with the screws not all flushed in - just to get the planting going as we already spent two afternoons in assembly.
I would only recommend this to a friend who knows how to do wood assembly or is handy with woodwork.

Comments about Copper Cap Raised Beds:
I wanted a raised bed that was functional, durable and nice looking. The copper caps are a nice touch, and the 3X6 size is perfect and easy to tend. I stapled wire mesh to the bottom to gopher proof. Highly recommend this product!

I'm using my raised bed to grow three kinds of squash and tomatoes. I've always wanted a raised bed, and this one is great. The copper accents are pretty too.
