Comments about Grow Bed Liners:

Great liner, well constructed and holds together. Was a great purchase because my garden is the 3x6 bed on a concrete patio and I need to keep it from leaking. Allowed me to have the 3x6 bed without having to drillholes in it for the side plates to cover the gaps between the boards.

Great for growing herbs on the patio.

Comments about Grow Bed Liners:

Buy the soil from gardner's supply or a similar product from your local retailer. I didn't buy the moisture holding soil simply because of the weight [...]. It seemed a bit pricey; however, my husband bought regular top soil that will need fertilizing and it doesn't hold moisture well. We'll see how that works out as we head into hot weather.

Comments about Grow Bed Liners:

I ordered liners for 3x3 and 3x6. It was great to just tuck these in and fill. They seem heavy duty so hoping grass won't penetrate but did put down black weed control fabric for back-up. I would recommend finding soil in bulk to cut cost of filling. I used a local compost company and one cubic yard compost/peat/perlite mix filled 3 (3x3) and 2 (3x6) and 4 regular sized potatoe bags perfectly.

Comments about Grow Bed Liners:

The liners are absolutely necessary for the low black grow beds, which are flimsy and a bit disappointing. Without the liners, the growbeds tilted easily. I presently have strawberries, parsnips, and lettuce in two grow beds, and overall I am pleased.

I have one of these for each of my two grow beds, and they are fantastic! They are effortless to install, and they have allowed me to sit my grow beds on top of my lawn without having to worry about grass or weeds growing up into my garden. They seem very sturdy, too--I'm sure they will last a long time (this is my first season using them).

Bottom Line:

Comments about Grow Bed Liners:

I used the liner in a 3'x6' grow bed. I wasn't sure if the liner should fold over the sides of the bed or not. I did not have it fold over, so there are gaps between the liner and the bed sides. But the bed drains very well and no soil washes out.

This bed liner is too long for the 3x6' bed. It is actually 75" long, you have to roll it up or staple it in order for it to fit lengthwise.

Comments about Grow Bed Liners:

I ordered the 3x3 raised bed and this liner for my kitchen garden on my enclosed patio. My garden is growing beautifully. I was worried that a rain storm would make mud puddles on the patio, but the liner worked great to contain the soil and drain the rain water.
