    Comments about Fieldstone Raised Bed:

I got the 4x4 and liked it so much, I immediately ordered the 4x8. Super easy to set up, makes my raised beds look real professional. While you can tell they aren't real stone, they definitely don't look like cheap plastic. Sturdy enough to rest on. Price feels a little high but I anticipate these lasting for years.

    Comments about Fieldstone Raised Bed:

The product was very easy to assemble. A bit of work to get the area cleared, but once the prep work was done, putting the pieces together and pounding in the stakes was a breeze.

My only negative comment is the 4' x 4' measurement is an OUTSIDE measurement. This is stated in the item description, but I missed it. The actual gardening space is closer to 3' x 3'. Still works for me as I am using this as a small kitchen herb garden, but I was a bit surprised when I started planting and then realized that I don't have a 4 x 4 space. Otherwise, it works great and looks great too!

This raised bed is in an area where planting is restricted because of a utility box that must remain clear of planting. The box brightens up an otherwise unattractive section of the yard.

    Comments about Fieldstone Raised Bed:

This is a wonderful product! I grow enough tomatoes, peppers and eggplant in it every year to satisfy my family's needs--with extras for the neighbors. The raised bed keeps the worst of the insect pests and weeds away.

The light-as-a-feather faux fieldstone is so realistic that my neighbor asked how I managed to carry in all those heavy stones!

    Comments about Fieldstone Raised Bed:

I used this for a raised bed for raspberries in the front yard. Raised beds improve raspberry productivity and reduce suckering outside the bed, so I wanted a raised bed, but since it's in the front yard, it had to look nice -- this was a good solution.

It's very easy, fast, and intuitive to put together. All the pieces are identical and lightweight. When you put it together, make sure the top side (with the stone finish) is up, not the smooth side up!

    Comments about Fieldstone Raised Bed:

I have heavy clay soil and really had nowhere to plant veggies except a patch of lawn that gets a lot of sun, but really serves no purpose. The raised bed fit beautifully in that space and was I assembled it easily with no help. Now it is full of young vegetable plants that will give me plenty of fresh greens and tomatoes for the entire summer. It is very attractive and very functional, exactly what I was looking for.

    Comments about Fieldstone Raised Bed:

I love these raised beds. I have bought numerous kits and just keep finding other areas where another would look great. I've bought the single square kit, the circular kits and both together for a larger 8'x 4' oblong garden.

I love the look, like real stone, they fool everyone.

I love their strength to hold up to the weight of the soil and plants and they frame out specific focal point gardens within a larger garden or as a stand alone focal point.

They're a bit heavy when shipped so you should remove the sections from the box and carry them separately or in pairs to where you need them set up, it's much easier that way.

    Fantastic product.

A bit more pricey than some others but these are worth their cost - the cheaper ones are the waste of money. Others do not hold up through a single winter without cracking and falling apart. These beds I've had for more than three years, through winter and summer seasons, and I live in New England (northeast - intense heat in summer and brutal cold in winter) and these still look as good as the day I put them in.

The pins sometimes work themselves up out of the ground, which is easily noticeable to you and I just push them back down with my foot, real easy.

No tools required, but you might want to have a rubber mallet handy for the stakes the first time. They go into the ground easily, but the last few inches might need some encouragement.

The stakes/pins are solid and strong, but they tend to rust out in the weather so if that bothers you, you can treat them with something first.

I had been looking for something like this to have a raised garden. It is perfect, and easy to add sections to change the size. It looks real, but is lightweight. Would also be great to use as a sandbox, or other raised beds.

    Comments about Fieldstone Raised Bed:

I combined two kits for a taller raised bed (using the longer stakes). It was easy to put together, and so far, I've been pleased with the quality. You can see seams in the plastic at the corners, but on first glance, it looks like real stone.

    Comments about Fieldstone Raised Bed:

I use the product to enclose all of my flower beds and around trees. It keeps the lawn mower from damanaging my plants and trees and it looks great. I have a couple of areas where I installed actual stones. The stones were expensive, difficult to install correctly, and required maintenance.
