Your tomato plants appear lush and healthy and almost ready for harvest, when brown decay appears at the blossom end, spreading rapidly and spoiling the fruit. Blossom-end rot is very discouraging, but it's easy to prevent with Rot-Stop. This all-natural formula prevents calcium deficiency, the most common cause of blossom-end rot.

I tried this product for the first time last year, and it happened to be during one of the worst tomato blights in recent memory. It saved my plants from total destruction (like some of my neighbors had) but it did not work entirely 100%. It was one of my worst crops in years. Also, if you have large plants like I do, that tower over the caging in the tomato success kits, your hand will get cramped very quickly trying to spray them thoroughly with this product.

Comments about Tomato Rot-Stop, 32 Oz.:

For three years my potted deck tomato plants suffered from Blossom Rot. I researched the problem and found that they needed calcium. I looked high and low at surrounding garden centers for something that provided the extra calcium with no success. One garden place suggested I put crushed shells in the pots to remedy the situation. That was not practical for me. It was only when I received a catalog from the Gardeners Supply Company that I discovered a spray to fix the situation. I used it this summer and all my tomatoes were beautiful. Not a sign of blossom rot on any of them.
Thanks so much for carrying this product. It will be a staple in my garden supply closet for years to come and is worth every penny.

Comments about Tomato Rot-Stop, 32 Oz.:

This product works as advertised, and does seem to minimize bottom end rot. I recommend that you transfer the product (ready mixed) to a more "user friendly" sprayer, such as a small pump sprayer. It is difficult to apply the product directly from the bottle to many plants, as you hands get tired from using the supplied sprayer on the bottle. I always have at least two (2) bottles on hand. When nearing the end of the bottle it is difficult to get out the last bit, I pour what is left into the next bottle in line.

I have used this for several years on my tomatoes. I still can't figure out why they get blossom rot so badly but this is the only thing that has kept my family in tomatoes for the past few seasons. The soil tests have not helped me find the problem but this certainly solves it. It's easy to use, doesn't take long on my few plants, and the fruit developes beautifully when I use it and gets rot when I don't.

I used this product along with Blossom Set Spray.
It's saved my crop!
I am now seeing beautiful fruits and vegetables. I use it on my tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, etc.
I am keeping plenty on hand as the new growth emerges.

I am very careful to only spray the plants when it cool outside - which happens to be 5 am here in Phoenix. You will see some leaf burn so be careful.

Also - I am using a larger spray bottle instead of the pump that comes with the container - I find this a lot easier to manage.

This is a product I have used for the past couple of years. It mainly comes in two sizes,a spray bottle or a concentrate, to be mixed.Very easy to use, just spray the plants.Let the plants soak up the spray.I prefer the spray bottle as there is no mixing envolved.I use this product on my potted tomatoes as soon as I notice the the first signs of blossom end rot, that very familiar black spot. One or two treatments during the year depending on the amount of rain we recieve. The only problem I have found with this product is,the small size of the spray bottles and the amount of time squeezing the trigger. I have 200 potted tomatoes which requires a lot of time spraying. I would reccommend using the concentrate if you have a large number of plants to do.A quart sprayer would be easier and faster then the spray bottles.

Comments about Tomato Rot-Stop, 32 Oz.:

The spray nozzle attachment- tube does not easily reach fluid. It appears to be meant to go into top section of bottle - not sure that is best. Sprayer itself does not work well/ maybe I have a bad one.
Directions could be more complete - how long before I can see results. Not sure if it actually works or not. Will it work less efficiiently if used later in season -- many questions.
Not immediately impressed. Still evaluating. Would like to hear from successful user.

Comments about Tomato Rot-Stop, 32 Oz.:

This is my first year gardening and I almost cried when my first tomatoes had that un-becoming brown spot on the bottom. I suppose I should have known that 1 call to Gardeners' Supply would be all it took to find the perfect solution to their calcium deficiency.

Comments about Tomato Rot-Stop, 32 Oz.:

I tried the product on a few tomato plants and it burned the leaves killing the plant. I followed instructions spraying early morning and only sprayed once. The label caution should be stronger...e.g. test on a few leaves first. I used your lower concentration calcium product Blossom Set Spray on the other tomato plants and it seemed to help blossom set and blossom end rot.

I had a problem with blossom end rot on my zucchini and used the Tomato Rot Stop. It didn't burn the leaves and seemed to minimize the rot even though product is not labelled for zucchini???.

I think a label revision is in order before I would recommend it.

Definitely saw an improvement in blossom end rot on my Roma tomatoes in 2007 after using Rot Stop. Bought 2 bottles this year. Worth it! It's terrible to put so much time, energy, and passion into growing tomatoes only to lose them in the end stretch.

Last summer was the first time I ever attempted to grow tomatoes on my patio. A number of the tomatoes had this rot, and Rot Stop was suggested by my cousin. It worked great, and saved the day for me and my plants! Will probably have to reorder for this year. Thank you for such a good product!

I was very disappointed with this product as I had many of my tomatoes with rotten bottoms. They were planted in your Growth System, using your soil and fertilizer. I have been quite disappointed.

I've used Rot Stop for several years now on tomatoes, squash, melons and cucumbers. It's really helped cut down on the amount of blossom-end rot. I order more Rot Stop each spring!
