I used them for a temporary bird barrier around a clien'ts blueberry bushes. Liked the "temporary". Also the netting will be easy to lift and replace for harvesting berries. Hated the color: Couldn't they be neutral or black? Also, the number of connectors should be a multiple of 3 or 4 - why 25?

Would definitely use them again and recommend them.

these are indispensable for the faux bamboo Aframe. Only 4 stars because of the price. I bought extras in case any are damaged in the next few years, whereas the faux bamboo stakes are near to indestructible.

I purchased the clips and the faux bamboo poles these clips fit. My biggest complaint is that they are very difficult to snap on. I ended up sliding the poles through the opening . I think the description is a bit misleading when it comes to the easy to snap on part. I think they would be even more difficult for a senior citizen or someone with arthritis or other joint condition, otherwise I love them. They seem to be very strong and durable. It gives a nice look to whatever you are making/using them for . I used my poles and clips for my pole beans and climbing flowers.

How funny that these little connectors had DH & DD busy playing with them for almost an hour! They twist in multiple directions and once you have your rods together, you need to figure out how to twist the connectors to make them clip the rods into place. 25 in a bag was enough for the trellis. Once they snapped in place, they stayed there (no sliding). Don't knw if they're plastic or plastic+rubber, but they feel very durable.

These were perfect for creating a frame to espalier an apple tree. They blend in with the faux bamboo rods so that the frame is inconspicuous, and they are versatile enough to build all sorts of frames for all sorts of applications. I was worried that they would not stay in place, eg that they would slip down the vertical poles, but they have not. There seems to be just enough tension and friction to keep them where they are placed without making them too hard to apply or remove. I have some that have been in use for more than 6 months in harsh sun, wind, and salt spray conditions, and they are just fine.

These work very well. Sturdy and no slippage. The only draw back is .. is it works best with the connectinig poles being either permendicular or horizonal to each other. In other words these do not work well when trying to connect poles as in an "A" or a teepee configuration. I would recommend these but be aware of its limitations.

I bought these to use with real bamboo to make tomato cages and other vegetable supports. They are easy to use, and I expect to use them for many years. It would be nice if they came in one or two more sizes, as all my bamboo is not the same diameter. I would definitely recommend these. In fact, I like these clips so much, I'm going to get more.

first time to purchase and wow-great idea. I am able to put up an informal fence of bamboo to block foot traffic in the meadow and then take it apart and move it without difficulty and fast. It's so much easier then undoing twine.

I purchased these to use with real bamboo poles. The problem is that the clip ends are too small for slight variation in the natural bamboo. If the plastic was a bit more flexible or there were more sizes available I could mix and match. I really need 1 and 1 1/2 inch clips.

I used the connectors on my own real bamboo poles to create a teepee-style trellis. Very good for connecting the poles, as well as holding trellis netting in place on the poles.

These make putting up the faux bamboo poles a snap! I was worried that they would break but, they are tuff. I made t-pees for my tomatoes and fences beside my roses. You can't make a t-pee faster or easier with anything else. I won't know how they stand up to UV until the end of the season.

These are great little devices for connecting bamboo poles. I use them on my own homegrown bamboo to make trellises and various plant supports. I was happy to discover that they are fairly flexible and can be used on poles that are not exactly 3/4" in diameter. However, it would be great if these were available in several sizes to accomodate poles that are significantly larger or smaller than 3/4". All in all a terrific, handy little device.

I love that I can use a hammer to jam these things into the ground and it does NO dammage to the stakes.

They made the most perfect pen for my tree dahlias this past season. The best thing about the cage is how easy it was to snap on additional tiers of cage as my flowers reached over twelve feet tall! I just kept snapping on bamboo supports.

They are easily moved as well. Currently they form a bean teepee/cave. I was able to form a large and structurally-sound tunnel for kids to hide in--and it took me about five minutes.

I love that in photos and to visitors of my garden, the stakes look like real bamboo. Tres deceptive. I'll never use any other kind of stake again.

The swivel connectors are a great benefit is building bamboo structures for gardens and landscaping. Problem is that they are limites to the diameter of bamboo used. If too large, the swivel will release its grip and structure may fall down. Again the use of the correct size of bamboo and limitations of using too large a diameter of bamboo needs to be stated and stressed in the ad.

These are easy to use and they stay put. I have used them with the Gardeners Supply Build-A-Balls and the faux bamboo poles to build a frame for my bird netting to keep the critters from eating my produce. I've also used them with the bamboo poles to make supports for my vegetables. This is my first season using them so I don't know how durable they are but I think they should hold up fine.

I'll be able to judge this product more after we actually have beans growing on them. I can see some disadvantages but I think I'll be able to use them in other places in the garden n the event they don't work for beans. Why don't you make a bigger set with snap together parts so they'd be longer. Real bamboo deteriorates and it's expensive.

Growing up with gardeners and always trying to "re-invent" the mousetrap, i found the faux bamboo supports and connectors to be just what i needed in my garden.
