The spirals came unable to assemble. Only one of 5 seems to be constructed correctly. Two assemble but seem to be flimsy and crooked compared with the one that installed correctly. The spirals come in two pieces one piece twists on to the second. In my case I"m unable to connect 2 of the spirals at all. One is filled with excess resin from the protective coating. The second the metal is bent and will not slide over the other piece. Very disappointed considering the great reviews.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I am using them for my tomatoes and for some of my summer vines. The bright colors brightens my garden and gives it an artsy feel. I love these heavy duty supports and know they will last for years. I've said bye, bye to those tacky tomato cages you get at the nursery. These are great!! Will be buying more for sure!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
The two parts of the support won't fit together. Out of the five I received in the pack, only two sort of work. I ordered this in early spring and didn't open and check if they work until today (june 1) when I was planting my tomatoes. It's too late to return now. I have to find some other uses for them.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
After trying many, many other types of stakes, I found these. They have changed my life! They are sturdy, they are easy to use, and they last year after year. I use them to support my dahlias - they are a colorful accent to my flower beds. Just ordered 10 more! Worth every penny.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
out of 5 in the set, only one was perfect (I assume that was the intended design). Others were OK, but had to try several ways and other ways to put them together. My handy and gear-head husband's standard, they weren't acceptable, but OK for me (and with the price).
Also, we are wondering if the plants will be cooked/burn because of the material. will report back to you if we do.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
The colors on mine are faded. The blue one is defective and the two pieces will not fit together. Right now they are sitting in my garage while I decide if I am going to return them. I want to [...] This was my first purchase from this catalog and it is very disappointing.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These are cool looking, but don't seem to be all that supportive for tomato plants. Also, one of the spirals did not work - the two pieces were impossible to fit together. This seems to be a common complaint - wormanship is not great. I'm afraid I'd have to return all 5 spirals in order to just get a replacement.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Makes my garden a more colorful and happy place. How can you not smile at bright twisty things holding up tomato plants !!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I am using these for the first time, so I may have a different perspective at the end of the growing season. However, I love them so far. I am using them for my tomato plants. They are an interesting and colorful addition! I do find that I am tying the plants to the spirals more than I anticipated.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I placed these in my raised bed vegetable garden but decided against them there and moved them next to our patio walkway which gets alot of vines and ivy growing like wild in the spring. We inserted the rainbow spirals and within hours the ivy had claimed possession. Very fun and innovative product.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I like the look and like the price, but I will see how rusted they get by the end of the season! They came scratched down to the metal in spots. You can not see that at a distance tho and so they look good for now. I do like yard-art!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These are so pretty in my gardens. I want to order dozens more. Can't wait to see my plants winding their way around and through them!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I am using these for a pop of color in my raised vegetable gardens as a support for vined plants to grow up. I am only using each one in half instead of connecting two pieces together.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Love the colored spirals even before they are covered with folage.
Adds interest to any garden. We put our sout as soon as we got them!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I had to order a second set as I just LOVE these! They really make beautiful yard art and are useful as well.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These stakes are fun for tomato plants and add a touch of humor to your veggie garden.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I wish it were taller! It is wonderful, but would like it taller for the indeterminate tomatoes!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
found it difficult to get these to stand up straight. The connections were a bit wobbly. Loved the colors and think they'll be great for my tomato plants
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Can't wait to use them this summer.

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
To heck with using these as tomato stakes! They make a great abstract art set-in at different depths together near our front door. Ours have been in place for two years of weather and the colors have faded somewhat, so I am ordering a new set...we have had too many compliments to not have them gracing our front yard!

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I am growing a pink Trumpet Vine from the back of the fence to cascade over to the front of the solid fence. The colors of the stakes give the back of the fence some real punch. Love it!
I get so many compliments on my yard and I'm so pleased because I've had to learn gardening in the desert vs. gardening in the NW.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Very heavy duty. Versatile, can use as 10 separate supports, although shorter, but does add color to the garden.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
We have a climbing Morning Glory and the spiral supports were great in providing a good start for the plant's yearly climb up a 20 foot pole. It was a simple solution to the many pieces of string I previously had to replace every year.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I used these for both my cucumber and tomato plants since I have a very small garden...so I went up! Also love the fun colors!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These looked great at first. Then they started to fade and a couple of them wouldn't come apart for storage over the winter. Now, in their second (and last) season they are just faded and don't look great at all. Great concept, not such great execution. Very expensive for one season of tomato support.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
This year I used mine to hold up the 6' sunflowers after the heads got so heavy they wanted to fall over. Working great for the birds and us. Mine are not the colored ones, only grey.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Bought them once, loved them so much that I bought them again. Second batch had two that could not be used joined together because the openings were slightly flattened.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I love this product because it has several uses.
It can be used with fine vines and because of the
coloring and I know what plants it was used on. It
could use several other new colors

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I bought these to support tomato plants in my raised vegetable bed. They are a winner! Not only do they look good without being too assertive a presence, they install easily and tomato plants are easily trained up them. Perfect for the "square foot" gardening method -- I have 6 indeterminate tomatoes tidily and productively residing in a 3' x 2' space!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I like the idea of these spirals. They are easy to use and look great in the garden. But they are poor quality for the price. One of the 10 that I bought was mis-shaped, so it couldn't be assembled. Several of the 10 were already starting to rust when I got them.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
they are great for staking my tomatoes, and are a fun colorful addition to the garden. i will be ordering more.

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These are very attractive, fun, versatile stakes. I enjoy using and looking at them. We bought two sets. One went together fairly easily and the other was nearly impossible. Quality control??? They could work on making them easier to assemble. Easy assembly would get them 5 stars.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I absolutely LOVE these supports!! This was my first time growing tomatoes and I thought any cage would work. I was very wrong! The plant outgrew the cage and the heavy stems started to bend downward and over, making the cage useless. I bought these supports and I'm so very, very glad I did. It's very sturdy. It does not bend under weight. They are very easy to assemble. It comes with two pieces per support. You can use just one or both if you need the height. You just fit the top piece over the bottom. It does feel a little loose if you try to move it around, but it's actually very sturdy. These are also stackable to get as much height as needed. They blend in very well with the plant. I never notice they are there unless I look for them. However, they are decorative so you might want to just use then as decorations. One of the best products offered!!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I have bought several sets of these over the years and have loved them--they are both decorative and effective for staking everything from dahlias to clematis (never were heavy enough for tomatoes). But this year's version seems much more cheaply made--the stakes themselves are thinner and the tube for inserting one half into the other flattened, so difficult to connect (it took lubricant), and once connected, they don't stand straight. Original version was far superior!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I use them with my tomatoes in my containers. They work and really attractive! As my tomatoes are rather small, I'm just using the bottom half. I can't wait to add the other half pretty soon. I love them!!

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
We purchased the tomato spirals because we had had good luck with a shorter all-plastic version from a local garden center, but needed more and couldn't find any this year. The Gardener's version is relatively expensive but, I think, worth it--they work great, are at least twice as tall as our other ones, durable metal that separates into two sections for storage, and beautiful vibrant colors. I love looking out at the garden and seeing them--they are almost like decorations. I expect we will be using and enjoying these for many years to come.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Not so easy to assemble. I am using in a patio garden. Stakes are fairly heavy (good for supporting tomatoes) so, have to be pushed deep in the ground. Kept falling over in my containers. Much better once tomato plants got larger. Once established, they are very attractive.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
these supports look great even when not covered with plants-the colors stay bright-the neighbors can't stop the compliments
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Three years ago, we killed the grass and "went native" in our urban backyard. At the time, I ordered these spiral supports for some very tall native plants and some remaining lilies -- and I liked the supports so much, I ordered more this year as Chicago's heavy spring rains generated very tall plants. However, almost all of the colorful spirals had rust on them in various places. And half of them, with curled ends, were hard to insert near the plant roots. The other half had straight bases and went in easily. I should have returned the defective products but we don't own a car to get to the post office, and we needed the supports at that moment.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
The Rainbow spirals arrived very quickly and in good shape. I used 2 tall spirals for my tomatoe plants and used 3 shorter ones to help support my pepper plants. They are fun and whimsical and add a bit of color to the garden. They are made of a strong metal and the paint seems to hold up well, although I have only had them for a couple of months now. I am glad I bought them and will continue to do business with Gardener's Supply.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These spiral stakes are great. They really add color to my vegetable garden and are a great compliment to the Tomato Ladders as well. Make sure you get them set real good before your plants start to grow up them. I did not put one in deep enough and now one of my tomato plant is tilting over and I had to be real careful to fix it without hurting the plant. Just make sure you pay attention when putting them in and you will be pleased with this product
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These are awesome! They hold beans, small squash, cucumbers, tomatoes, anything that climbs/vines/needs support. My only issue is that the top & bottom halves don't always fit in together tightly, so that some look like they're leaning sideways. Otherwise, they're perfect. And, everyone who sees them thinks they're such an attractive addition to the garden.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I love these stakes and plan to buy more. They look so fun in the garden. My kids really enjoy the color.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These colorful spiral supports have added color in my vegetable garden from planting time on. They are charming and work very well as supports for climbers.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
They look much better than traditional cages
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Used currently for beans and flower garden decorations.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
We used these for our vegetable garden with the pole beans. They are perfect and our garden looks very whimsical. all of our neighbors wish they had these for their gardens!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
As a Master Gardener, certified horticulturist and professional restaurant production garden manager, I love these supports and use them in all my gardens. Everything I use in my demo gardens needs to be effective but aesthetically pleasing. This product is both! I grow indeterminate heirloom toms which have a growth pattern that works extremely well with these. Especially effective in a garden with limited space. I highly recommend these supports for anyone, especially those that want a beautiful alternative to the typical ugly tomato cage.
The tomato supports are in the back of these beds.

So far i'm really happy with the rainbow spirals! I can't wait to have tomtoe plants that reach the tops. Easy to operate and I love watching the tamotoe plants climb. Used many other types of support all had issues. These will last for many years.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
very dissapointed in the 2 part construction, difficult to get together and when together they are not sturdy enough to hold heavy tomato vines which is why I purchased them. may be useful and attractive for flowering vines.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I couldn't choose . . . ladder stand or spirals - I love both!!!!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I love spiral stakes and was drawn to these because of the bright colors that would liven up the veggie garden. When I received the box of 10 stakes, I thought they had over shipped - until I saw that there was some assembly required. The stakes for the most part hold together, unless you pull the wrong way and they twist apart. Their saving grace is that they were inexpensive and we all learn to live with poorly engineered products from time to time.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I was a bit skeptical that these would be able to handle my tomato plants. My plants have gotten huge and very heavy of late, and these supports are definitely up to the task. They are really great in terms of space saving - I have my vegetables in a relatively small plot, and these supports are perfect! I bought a second set to use for additional tomato plants and my sunflowers. I love them! I love their look, too!

love to add interest to flower gardens that are durable and colorful
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Love the way these look and are so cheerful compared to the old tomato cages. Find that I have to trim the tomatoes somewhat which I understand is good for the yield , too. Have to guide the tomatoes into following the spiral. Really like this product. Would work really well for cucumbers I think.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Love the color it brings into the garden. Great to support my tomatoe plants. Needs a little adjustment to be a more sturdy.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Works like a charm. I only wish they slid together mpre easily, the powder coating is tricky and you get crooked spirals if not careful...but minor..otherwise love this and would buy again.

Very sturdy product
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I interspaced these with tomato ladders and perennials in my front walkway garden. They add a delightful accent that serves as a prelude to the mature plants.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
First year using these, and so far so good. Tomato trunks are straight as an arrow and strong. The only problem I can foresee is their heighth...my heirlooms get beyond 9 ft. I may purchase another set to make them a bit taller.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
8 of 10 went together smoothly. Two just didn't want to go together, but with much fiddling, finally did. But. oh my, they are a source of constant delight and endless comment. Art in the garden!!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
If these supports had a pointed end to ease them into the ground I would give them a higher rating.
There is a good chance of damaging roots.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I can't wait to see morning glories climbing up my stakes. My neightbors like them even without flowers. FUN
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
The colors were not as bright as shown in catalog. One spiral was crooked when put together and one had a sharp edge where two ends had to be put together, so cut my hand. I still like the way they look in the garden though.

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
After waiting weeks for these to arrive, I was disappointed with the colors and the design. I received stakes in three primary colors (red, yellow, and blue) and two pastel/fluorescent (orange and green) colors. The stakes were easy to assemble but top-heavy, and therefore, when placed in the ground, some of the stakes tilted over much to my dismay. I bought these stakes solely for decorative purposes. I kept them because the style is fun, I can always paint them another color, and rig the stakes with fishing line to make them stand up straight.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
The spirals work great and are a wonderful splash of color in my garden.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I had purchase similar product from a store and was expecting the same product only to find out that these came in two pieces. You had to insert the bottom and wrap the plant around to support it and then insert the top piece in.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I bought these for their color, and plan to grow vining flowers on them. Neighbors who never speak have stopped by to ask about where I purchased them and compliment how they look in the landscaping.

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I have tried almost everything to try to support my monster tomatoes. I bought these spirals without much hope that they would stay up and not fall over, and I've eventually worked out a method to use them that works. These spirals are 5 ft, but the ones I have are 6 ft. Position four of them in a square on the ground about 2 1/2 ft apart. Push them in the ground and join the tops of the spirals and tie together with twine to form a pyramid. The pyramid adds strength and keeps the structure from toppling over. Plant a tomato plant at the base of each spiral (4 tomato plants). Prune each tomato plant to three or four stems each, weaving the main stem through the spiral as it grows. At 1 to 2 foot intervals up the spirals, use the Florida weave method to weave the twine around the spirals, sandwiching the tomato plants as they grow taller. I usually prune the tops of the plants when they grow over a foot above the spirals. I really do think that these work better than cages, even homemade ones., or regular wooden or bamboo stakes. I use the tomato cages sold here and I like them but I do have to tie them to the house. I use these tomato spirals with the method described above wherever I have open ground.
You can try this same method by leaning individual spirals to a wall or a fence. If you want more than one stem per plant, you can also use the Florida weave method to hold the rest of the stems up.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I have had these stakes for three seasons now. While I still like their whimsical look, I am disappointed that the colors fade badly. I live in a very sunny, hot climate but expected the baked on enamel color to hold up better. I use them to mark rows and to stake smaller plants.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
The garden stakes are tall and attractive. Easy to set up.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I have a set for myself, and I like them so much that I bought some for Christmas presents. I've used them to stake tomato plants as well as morning glories. They are stylish without being obtrusive.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Green house use, pole beans, just starting out. May not be tall enough, but sure are pretty! Will use in outside garden Spring/summer
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
fun & practical. set them in the garden a tad late, but they helped to stabilize my out of control tomatoes. some of the larger varieties were a little more difficult to keep on the stakes, but i attribute that to my staking them after they were mature plants (although the stakes are tall i needed 2 stakes per plant). if the tomatoes had been growing up them since their inception i'm sure they would have been a little less floppy. mostly i love them for adding some practical whimsy to the garden. i have subsequently ordered another set.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
This is a versatile product, which I've used this year to support sunflowers and tomatoes.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Thier uses are limited only by your imagination.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I used the supports to hold up a large dahlia plant. The gold color enhanced the plant, and it was easy to encourage the flower stalks to wrap around the spirals. Neighbors comment on the way it looks.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I like the dramatic effect these have in the garden, and they and a nice touch of color. Even on sale the price was a little much but I would still buy them again--thinking of them like a piece of art in the garden
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I like the simplicity of these poles, but they tend to tilt and not stand up straight. I'm trying to get my late season peas to climb on them, and it's still too early to tell if they will work. I had to secure one to our deck so it wouldn't tip over. The poles are very easy to use and are a bright and attractive addition to the garden.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I purchased these stakes this year - they are very attractive in the garden, however, after only several months, some of the vibrant colors have faded - most noticably the green and yellow ones. Also, some of them assembled quite easily, while a few took several attempts to get both pieces together correctly. I think next year we'll use cages for the tomatoes, and these for other vegetables or flowering vines.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I love them, even though they're not really ideal for use with my beefsteak tomatoes. Indeterminate tomato vines tend to get too tall for these--they could use another foot in height, and a bracketing foot, as the extra support below ground would keep them upright with the added weight and length of more substantial vines. The powder coating where the two pieces join is missing, and rust (from rain) has begun to form where they join. However, these would work fine for determinate tomatoes that don't get as tall, or for pepper plants. They do have to be inserted deeply to offer adequate support, hence the suggestion that they redesign them by adding a foot in height, as well as a bracketing "foot" to support it at the base. (But--even the cone cages that are typically sold at stores are inadequate for indeterminate tomatoes. Such vines need height with a solid, balanced weight from below to sturdily contain them.) Frankly, I don't care about the drawbacks--they're a whimsically colorful touch to the vegetable garden. Much more delightful to see the beds now, than with the usual silver wire supports or thick wooden or bamboo poles. So, I'll keep using these--and in fact, I'm going to buy more, as well.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I have used these inside and outside. They add a nice splash of extra color and work great if you need something more for light weight leaning. You need to make sure they are deep enough to carry weight. I used them w/my tomatoes in planter boxes and it was hard to keep them straight. The ties also kept slipping as the plant got bigger.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These are the best tomato supports. Really easy to use and great for tomato plants in containers. I like that these come in 2 sections so you can add the 2nd half when needed. Colors are nice too!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Perfect for tomatoes
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
The colors are attractive and go well with plant/flower colors. This product is a good value for the price. One caveat - the "5 ft" is as advertised, but it counts the part that gets pushed into the ground, so the final height is more like 4 ft. My vigorous vines need more height than that. Next year, the supports will be used for lower growing plants.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I tee-pee'd the supports in a containter and planted a flowering vine in the middle. They look fabulous--a great 360 degree form in the middle of my patio.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I bought one set and used it to support my tomato plants. I liked it so much I ordered two more sets to use for beans, flowering vines and so on. My tomatoes got a bit heavy for the supports, next year I'll use two spirals each.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
We put them on a diagonal in the vegetable garden in the summer, used them to mark the curve of the driveway this winter.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
The product was effective and simplistic in design. Good two piece design for easy storage. Was sturdier than i thought it would be and supports large amounts of weight. The only draw back was that the paint coating was really heavy where they joined together making them difficult to assemble. Other than that would recommend the product.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Fun colors for simple vines. Adds just a touch of whimsy to the garden setting. I love them. Probably not durable enough for heavy vines. They were a little difficult to join together as I cannot tell if they were securely joined.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I'm sure these spiral supports are great for vines but I bought them for their color!! I've just had my yard landscaped and because the yard is VERY shady I have very limited color from plants.
I grouped these supports together with about 6" between each one and consider it GARDEN ART. You would not believe the terrific comments I've received on the uniqueness of the grouping. NO ONE has guessed that they are supposed to be functional supports. It's the colors. Thanks for providing something that was reasonably priced and useable as GARDEN ART. Really, it works!!!!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I have a lovely blue clematis climbing my blue spiral and a gorgeous empty blue bottle atop another one in our 'borrowed' alley garden. All the neighbors love the effect and we do too.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Well, bought them for my tomatoes in a pot. They are wonderful if... big if, the pot is big enough to support the weight of the spirals as the tomatoes grow. Had to change the pot size - the tomato plants are huge. This is a learning process, not the fault of the spirals. The 5 looked so pretty where I had them that I bought a 2nd set and just put them in flower pots, or in the ground among the beds. They are the hit of the neighborhood.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Who says that tomatoes have to be supported by cages? These rainbow spirals are great to look at, practical, store compactly, durable. Use with any tall plant that needs support.

used for tall flowers - delphiniums, lilies, they tipped over there should be a 'blade' at the bottom to prevent this. The joints are terribly wobbly. The ties slide down therefore do not support the flowers adequately.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I used them with the snow peas. Then we used them to decorate the yard for a birthday party. I need more.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I tried to use them on my clematis vines after I took my former trellis down to have my house sided---the vines were too big so I stuck the Rainbow Spirals in my garden as an accent and i think they look very "Artsy" and unusual, I have had positive comments from my neighbors too.BTW,I bought the twig trellis from your catalog for those vines.

I use them to bolster my holyhocks and a trumpet vine. I love the whimisical look and how they fit with the rest of the amenities in my landscape.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
The Rainbow Spiral Supports look really cool, they make you smile, they are just fun and exciting!!!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
compact, colorful, easy to use
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I have these on about 40 tomato plants and just love them. I am able to get the most useful part of the plant trellised with ease and can get the rest trimmed away. The fruit is exposed to the wonderful sunlight for ripening without hanging in the shade. I am half-way through the summer and so far am very satisfied. On top of all of that, it makes my garden look fun and colorful. The only reason for 4 stars is because I still have the rest of the season to go before they are truly put to the test, but I expect I will continue to be very satisfied with my investment.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I'm using them to hold up my tomatos, fig tree and I have one in my flower bed. I was surprised at how strong and heavy they were. The powder coating just made them even better, they should last forever.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
The colorful spiral tomato trainers make the garden look like a sculpture park!!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Bean plants immediately started climbing these supports and they add som nice color to the garden/
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These are great in groupings set at different angles; decorative seasonal ribbons; one at a time in container houseplants (real and artificial).
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
besides staking my tomatoes, I also used them to stake my agapanthus!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These spiral supports are very showy and I've been getting positive comments about how nice the garden looks. While these supports are sturdy (ie: they support the tomato plants nicely), there are two sections and where they fit together it seems a bit unstable. They are very easy to install. I've had no problems so far, though, and like the colorful addition to my garden.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
It gives my garden a modern, artsy look while actually supporting some flowering vines!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I've used sprial tomato stakes before so was looking forwad to some bright colors for the garden. They are flimsy and don't hold together so therefore are banished to a corner of my shed. They are not "sturdy" as described.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These spiral supports are great! The fun colors really pop in early season, and help to liven things up before the flowers and foliage cover them up. I like that they break apart in half for easy storage.
The only con, and it's a very slight one in my book, is that the pieces were hard to twist together. My hand strength wasn't up to snuff, I needed to get my husband to put them together for me. I considered putting a dab of vegetable oil or some similar product on the end, but since hubby was able to get them together, I didn't bother. I suspect that they will become easier to handle when they've been "broken in".
I received lots of complements from passersby on these.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I wanted to have something that looked better than old style tomato cages for my potted tomato plants on my deck and this does the trick in style. I have them in 16" diameter pots and they are very stable for the plants.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I'm using my spirals for cucumbers, yellow squash, & some tall herbs. I've staked 1 sunflower with them
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
they are very heavy and seem durable, we'll see if they make it to next year
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Love the look and are fun for the kids. 4 stars because when I looked at them tonight, I noticed they are fading quite a bit. Considering we have had a cold and cloudy summer, I'd hate to see what they will look like after a sunny one. Was considering buying a second set but now am not sure.
Only other complaint...they were a bit tricky to get together. If you didn't get it just right, it took some muscle.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These pretty colored spirals look great in the pictures but not all of mine assembled easily (which is really supposed to be easy - just stick one end into the other). Some looked a little off, one kept falling apart. I have some tomato plants tied to them and am wishing I would have spent my money on more of the awesome tomato ladders.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
We used the Rainbow Spiral supports in our large potted plants in front of our home. They are bright and attractive. We have received many compliments on them!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Saw these at a flower show and had to get them. Hopefully they will hold up the tomato plants that tend to grow higher than typical cages.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Since we are now planting vegetables in our front yard I wanted something more decorative to stake the tomatoes. I like the look and get lots of comments from neighbors walking by but the supports seem very lightweight and don't stake down into the ground very far. Don't know yet how they will perform when my plants are full size and loaded with fruit.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
use to hold sun flower plants which get very tall
also gave some to my son's girlfriend for her tomato plant in a container. sher is very particular what she puts in her garden.

Garden art and tomato stakes
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I have had several friends ask me where I got the poles, so I gave them extra catalogs of their own. I had a little difficulty hooking the two pieces together. They are a really attractive addition to my vegetable garden.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Stakes are sturdy, easy to connect, colorful and adds a touch of whimsy to delight the eye. Stakes are tall enough to easily handle those prolific tomato or bean vines.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I used two to train my Arctic Hardy Kiwi on - they look great - I added them to my trellis for extra support. I also added them to my patio garden to train my cucumbers on. Very attractive - I get lots of comments on them.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Very cute, bright colors, nice addition to my garden.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
The only thing that I'm not happy with is not the fault of the spirals. I ordered them after I planted my tomatoes - not a good idea. I do plan on buying more, if only because the splash of color brightens my garden even on a rainy day!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Love the look! We used them for vegetables and flowers. Once you get them together they're fine but assemblying them, they didn't lock right away.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I'm using the colorfl support spirals for my Bittersweet plant to climb on. Works great!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Love them! they're handy in the flower AND the veg garden
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I use these to support my plumeria and mandevilla. They look great, but the colors have faded some in the Florida sun. Nonetheless, they are sturdy if you put the two halves of each support together correctly, or use half at a time for shorter plants, and they are contemporary and attractive accents in the landscape.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
After placing these adorable spirals in my potager a friend described them as sexy. I think she is right, they are fun and flirty and added a great touch to my garden. I bought three pots to coordinate with the colors of the spirals (blue, green and red) and they pulled together the look of this garden.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Great size for all sorts of tall plants,,,,cheerful colors, extremely strong, and way better than flimsy tomato cages. I expect these to last for years!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
The rainbow spirals are everything that they are advertised to be: decorative, functional and versatile! I am using them to support pole beans. The shoots of the bean plants recognized the poles right away and are winding their way up the colorful poles. It is such fun to watch them!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I am using the rainbow spirals for color and to hold up my large tomato plants. I love the way they look in the garden...very festive..Also they are great around my snap peas.. It is very effective to wrap the long pea pd stems around the spirals..
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These are great overall, nice and tall, and add some fun colors to the garden. My only complaint is that they can be difficult to put together when they first arrive. However, if you keep at it, you'll eventually figure it out!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I purchased these to gain some control over my crazy morning glories. They are a great colorful addition to the garden until things start to bloom.
The only drawback is that they seem to not be completely straight when you put them together. They lean slightly toward one side. I was able to compensate for this by the way I put them in the garden, but it was a little odd to see them slightly crooked.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I'm not using these as supports for my vegetables. (My choice! Not because they wouldn't work!). I really like the splash of color they've added. Every visitor to my back yard has commented on them. (I'm not a big fan of the shade of yellow. It's pretty dull in comparison to the other colors.)
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
great for tomatoes
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I found to assemble and disassemble, it is best to lubricate the assembly points. The twisting to do both could be challenging.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I bought these mostly because they are so colorful and I thought it would be fun to use them in my vegetable garden. I am using them to support tomato vines and they look just like the picture in the catalog. In the past I have used wire tomato cages--the spirals are not as practical as cages, which are better able to support the side shoots, but they are prettier and I do like looking out at them when I am having my morning cup of tea. I think they would work better with pole beans though so next year I am going to try that. They are well made and sturdy, and very easy to assemble and place in the ground.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Using with tomatoes interplanted with summer squash.
Love the color they add to the veggie garden.
Hard to put together and stay straight, had to have my son do that part.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I used the product to display my wine bottles which I staked in the middle of my garden circle. They were surrounded by allium and lupine and made a wonderful display.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I am not using these products what they were intended for. I purchased them because I saw the design aspect to them and bought two sets of each. I incorporated these items into my landscape design as art objects set amoung my plants, in a group to make more of an impact. Because these spirals come in two pieces, I also staggered their height to keep the eye moving throughout the whole composition. Great product. Come out with more versatile objects such as these.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I used these to hold up my clematis vines. The spirals add an interesting dimension to the garden. Note that the vines must be tied on; they cannot easily grip the spiral on their own. I will probably take the spirals down for winter, so I am not sure how it will work to get the vines back on next spring. Also, I am not sure how well they would work for heavy tomatoes...
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
My daughter used them to stake tomatoes. We like the way they "squiggle" so a long vine won't be too high over your head. Also the tomatoes seem to climb them naturally without a lot of tying. We'll see how they do over a whole season.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These spiral supports are strong and tall enough to support cukes. I am tired of ugly veggie cages and these are fun. I bought one green one locally last year and it worked well, but I love the color in my garden.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Difficult to assemble properly. Does not hold up under pressure.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
My 6 year old neice saw these in my garden and had to have them for her mother!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Adds the perfect punch of color to the vegetable garden!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
A lttle too tall perhaps for the amount of anchor depth, but affordable option to pricey garden sculpture.

The item is a real time saver for growing tomatoes! This is my second set I am ordering 1 more set and ALL of my tomatoes will be grown this way !
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I used these to support my Red Mandevilla. Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These plant stakes are not only a decorative addition to my containers of tomato plants, but versatile and practical. You can begin with half of the spiral and add the additional piece as the plants grow. Wish they would've indicated which piece slides onto which end - I put together incorrectly initially and got the 2 pieces stuck together.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I used only the bottom half right now until the tomotoes get bigger. When I put them in the garden, they made me smile. They are very fun.

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These are great. I use them for my tomato plants, and although the supports get a bit overwhelmed by the size of the plants at the end of the season, they still stay upright and strong in my sandy soil. I get tons of compliments on how attractive they are in my veggie garden. And they're very easy to use--no tying necessary, I just push the plant growing tip(s) into the spirals as they grow. These would be great for beans and peas too--they're the perfect thickness for tendrils and vines to grab onto. I only wish they were about a foot taller. But all in all, they are wonderful.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I like the appearance and colors. Because the weather has been so eratic I have yet to put them to use but will do so this weekend when planting pole beans. They will be the interim support before the beans take over the fence.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I get compliments on these all the time - they are showy and attractive, and fabulous holding the vegetables up or just marking where I've put seeds. I love them

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Looks just like the catalog pictures. They arrived a little rusty, so I'm wary of their longevity, but they are nice a tall and perfect for my raspberries.

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
The spirals come in two parts. The upper part does not fit well into the bottom and is loose and unstable. It is nearly impossible to put them in the ground so that they can stand up straight. I seriously doubt that as my tomato plants grow that the spiral will be able to support them.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I got these stakes for my veggies... but now they are in multiple places in my yard. These were the best price on the web - I checked many sites. I am using them for beans, morning glories, as a teepee for other vines and as a grape vine support!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
A wonderful idea, I had many more seeds and some more space. I am looking forward to all the vegtables that will be growing!! Great space saver and colorful. Easy to put togethe and take apart.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I bought these for my beans and tomatoes. They aren't quite big enough yet to actually need them, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they'll work out. They add a colorful touch of whimsy for sure!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
The poles are very colorful and add a touch of color for multi season interest. The are however not tall enough for some vines and plants.

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I originally got these for my tomato plants last year. But I found that once the plants matured and started bearing fruits the stakes were not strong enough to support them. But they work great for my lily trees and other large flowers that need staked. Family and friends see the different colored spirals in my garden and everyone asks where I got them. The only other con besides not supporting the tomato plants, was that the red faded to a salmony-pink.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
The rainbow spiral supports look great in my garden.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
The seeds are just starting to climb the supports. It is a great way to grow many different crops without much room to do so by going vertical!

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
When I received the shipment, the box was half broken. The Fedex guy asked me to check inside or simply return it.
I liked the colors of the support. I put them against my white vinyl fence, they look beautiful. The paint came off easily at the joining part.
It's very difficult to assemble the two pieces together and keep them straght in the ground.
Frankly, I don't think that this product is very practical. It's okay to support medium height climbing plants, but not for my corkscrew vines.

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I bought two sets of these spiral supports last year...or was it two years ago?? I love the way they brighten up my front garden but was disappointed that the color faded after the first year. I live in northern Washington and we don't get super hot summers (though long daylight hours)so I can only imagine that they wouldn't keep their color for long in a southern clime. The only other downside so far is that you really have to bury them deep to get adequate support. I'm going to give them a try with beans this year...hoping tying three together at the top to make a tepee will offer more support!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I'm using them in a vegetable garden in a very visible spot, and they look great. Nice and colorful. They were easy to assemble and are good and sturdy.

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Living in forest fire country, I have solar tiki torches, but their thin plastic bases would break easily, and the wind would also blow down the torches. I now use a half spiral for each torch. They just fit! And they add a great colorful touch to my Hawaiian garden theme. The spiral easily inserts into the ground.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Received 1 each red, orange, blue,& green.
One half blue and one half yellow.
Quite the color mis-match.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These supports will be great for creating a vertical garden when there is a shortage of space. They also make the garden look light and gay.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Because these supports are so good-looking, my garden is an attraction even before there is anything to eat!

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I HAVEN'T USED THEM YET, BUT WAS PLEASED WITH THE CHEERFUL APPEARANCE AS SOON AS I DUMPED THEM OUT OF THE BOX. SAW THEM IN THE CATALOG AND WAS CHARMED. THOUGHT, WHY NOT. PUT A LITTLE CHARM IN THE VEGGIE GARDEN. AND VERSITAL. JUST PUT HALF IN TIL THE PLANT/FLOWER GROWS ABOVE IT AND NEEDS THE EXTRA HEIGHT. THEN POP ON THE OTHER HALF. CAN HARDLY WAIT FOR PLANTING SEASON. JUST A FEW MORE WEEKS.

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
The picture doesn't describe how short these are once installed.
Installed height is about 5'. There is no extension kit, so you'd have to buy a 2nd set to make them taller and that would waste 1/2 of the poles to do so.
The spiral assembly is slightly difficult to put together.
They are attractive and will perform their job I'm sure. Our pole beans are sprouting right now!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I bought two sets! My friends comment at my use of these unique supports with my sunflowers and climbing flowering shrubs. They compliment the flower bed and help draw your attention to my flowers. Love these!!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Just getting started. Waiting to see how they perform latter in season
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
They will be great for my morning glories - nice and tall as morning glories reach for the sky.

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I don't know why people were having trouble putting these together. They are easy to put together, put in the ground, and tie your vines to. All lined up in my garden, they make a bright and cheerful display of their own, while waiting for my tomatoes and beans to grow up onto them. Fun, cute, and useful. The only possible con would be that they are a single pole, and thus will not hold up very large plants.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
love the look of these spires but i wish they came in varying heights
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I will use them for beans and peas, I like the color in the garden.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Using these in raised beds. They are attractive and work great! 2 piece design makes it easy to store them.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These are best inserted into the ground when you plant but can be used after the plant is established (the first year I used after the garden was established). It is amazing how these rods really do hold the mature plants up and keep the fruit off the ground. I call them my 'mabic wands'. My neighbors were so impressed with them that they ordered some also this year.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Seldom have I found a product of any kind that's so simple and so effective. I've used both the spirals and the tomato ladders, and while both work well, I like the spirals best.
They're taller than the ladders and don't present the challenge of bending tomato branches to fit under or over the arms of a ladder. They break down nicely for winter storage, and they come in cool colors. What's not to like?
[1 of 1 customers found this review helpful]
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
The photos on the website show a more vivid color. The spirals I received were dull. The powder coating was also chipped, so the steel will likely rust making reuse poor. I'm considering sanding off the chipped powder coating and applying my own color, which hopefully will restore some of the vivid color that drove me to buy these over other products.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
From the pictures, I thought the spirals would be more stable and able to give some support to such items as tomatoes. That said, I would buy more just to decorate flowers, but not vegetables. The spirals give whimsy to your flowers.

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I plan to plant my tomatoes, basil, peppers, etc. among the flowers in my front garden. The stakes are beautiful and will add a vertical element to
the front along with the whimsical colors. My front
yard faces South so the amount of sun will be perfect.

I ordered two sets, and they add modern color/style, especially in winter when foliage is gone. Colors are great, though wish they came in varying heights/sizes.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Great to stick in behind other plants. Now my Morning Glories have a place to grow.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I bought this at the end of the summer season when there wasn't much color in my garden. It makes me smile everytime I look at it.
It was a little difficult to figure out how to put the two parts together. But a little perseverance did the trick.

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I use these strong, tall spirals to support my pole bean netting. They were quite the conversation piece. They're also useful to support tall house plants. I like using these instead of sticks because they don't deteriorate over time and they stack up in a corner in my shed.

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
They appeared much larger and sturdier in the picture. They are pretty cheap and flimsy
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Absolutely delightful way to provide support for plants were needed or just a fun color boost that brings a smile to your face!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Delightful whimsical additions to the garden landscape! Although they will not be used until next Spring in my zone, they appear to be very strong, weatherproof, and will provide huge interest in the flower beds and vegetable gardens.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
great way to support my annual vines
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I use this for tomato and pepper plants, and I love the way they look in the garden, but my previous puchase was for the one-piece style supports. These are hard to put together and get them straight. I was ecstatic to find this type of support back in your catalog, but the two-piece design is not optimal.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I love the colors, and spiral shape. They were to be a fun, and architectual addition to my garden.
The assembly was very hard, and they lose their affectiveness if they aren't straight, and evenly spaced. Tell your supplier to go back to the drawing board to correct the design.
Dissapointed in Seattle.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Love them. Hope next year even more colors will be available. Add pizzaz to my yard.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I love the items but the way they were shipped was very poor. I'm amazed they made it at all, the box was just about totally gone. Both ends were open but everything was there. All in good shape.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I used it in my flower garden newly planted to prop up higher plants - against the wind.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These are easy to use supports for tomato plants that have smaller sized fruits, like plum, cherry and grape tomatoes. They also add a fun look to the vegetable garden.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
This year's heirloom tomato crop loves these stakes. Just a bit of Velcro support trained the plants to climb the stakes. I leave them out throughout the year. They attract attention even when plants haven't claimed them, especially in a snowy winter.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Your description in the catalog should say they need to be screwed together. When I got them, I thought I had the wrong product because the box was so short. But I called and reached a nice person who told me how it works.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
loved the colors and finally glad to have something tall enough to hold up my tomato plants. I bought one package and I think I may order another one.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These are being used as garden scultures, not as vegetable supports. And they are wonderful! Tucked away in good spots in the garden, they are lovely surprises. Plus they catch the night lighting in the garden in wonderful ways.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Used to stake Dahlias that always need staking. Three of our friends ordered them for their own garden. They add a contemporary feel to a garden of any kind.Great product.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
This product brightens even dark little corners in the shade garden.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I used the spirals for cucumber vines, they climbed right up for easy picking and the cucumbers didn't sit on the ground.
Plus, they give you a punch of color in your garden.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I'm using this to add a decorative accent to potted plants. It adds interest to a green yard and is unusual and quirky--my design goal. Very sturdy and easy to use; my only quibble is that they are a little short for the plants I have, don't support them as far up as I could use. A longer size would be welcome!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These stakes add alot of wow to the garden...everyone that sees them wants to know where they came from!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
They are so much fun. Who says support for plants have to be ugly and boring. They are great
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These supports are very heavy and sturdy. The colors are vivid and fun!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Everyone who has seen them, ask where I bought them. They are a greaat decorative addition to the garden beginning in spring and continu9ng throughout the growing season, enhncing the flowers and design of my gardens. I have passed on your catalog to many.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Though a bit challenging to put together (sounds easier in the directions than it really is), these look great. I bought two sets and used instead of a trellis along a wall. They support two tangerine vines beautifully. They add a whimsical touch for which I receive many compliments.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Raised bed garden using cinder block to create deep pots in the bed walls. Peppers, tomatoes, japanese eggplant, etc. The spirals kept plantings neat and allowed good air flow. They stand up straight and strong in block pots that are two deep for tomatoes or use just the lower half of the spiral for the peppers and such. This bed is against the south wall of my home.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
In a garden it is a delight to look out and see the very outstanding colors and how they blend in and how the cumcumbers just climb up the spirals and how the tiny birds sit on the top of the spirals looking around for little bugs to eat.Colors, usefulness and enjoyment of nature and its precious little creatures searching for their next meals. It is a joy just to see how these spirals make a difference in a small or large garden. Will order these colorful spirals for nect years climbing beans. Thanks for a very colorful garden.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I've used these to supplement my tomato cages and they are fun to look at and do the job.

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Several years ago I ordered the regular spirals which worked out well. I had expected these to be similar, but they come in 2 pieces and do not fit together well. The spirals lean at the top because the 2 pieces do not fit together tightly, once the plants grow tall it will be difficult to keep them straight. I think they would be much better if made in 1 piece, each piece is sturdy in itself.

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I bought these supports because I have the original red spiral tomato supports (and really like them) and my tomatoes are getting too tall for them. I put them in but find that the tops curl over at odd angles and don't really stay up straight
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I absolutely love the Rainbow Spiral Supports. I have several in large flower pots on my deck and cement area around the deck. I've arranged five of them around very colorful decorative bird houses.
I've had people walking by that have stopped to comment on the unusual decorations I have, and how nice they look.
I've purchased additional sets and in the spring I plan on putting several in my front flower beds and attach verbena around the spirals.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
really fun, colorful way to add accent or stake plants. color faded a little after I left them out over winter but I still think they look great! inspired a few other friends to purchase these-- everybody loved the way they look

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
they add lovely height to the garden - only complaint is that attaching the top to the bottom could be somewhat troublesome
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I love these 5 spirals.....should have ordered more!! I only have a small area to plant in but these are so special, useful, and colorful that I sometimes just peek out of my window to see them in my plants.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These brightly colored stakes are put to good use in my vegetable garden, especially with tomato plants. They also make a strong vertical statement when used in the flower beds for staking.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Ordered for my tomatoes, but very useful for a variety of plants. Adds some "spice and whimsy" to a plain veggie patch.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Lots of uses - tall flower supports, tomatoes, etc. Adds bright spots to garden.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
They're pretty enough to display as artwork in the garden but provide excellent, sturdy support for vegetables and flowers. I grow container tomatoes and these gorgeous stakes are the perfect solution for giving them the height they want...plus I enjoy the great colors. I'll also be using them for morning glories once they get started.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I used them to support my tomatoes & give the garden a spash of color. The vines magic-ly followed the swirls!

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I use these in my flower garden to support some clematis vines. They are attractive but not intrusive looking. The supports come in two parts that you put together for the whole 6' effect. I also use the spiral halves in containers that need some support.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
It was so easy to set them up and to train various flowers and vegatables to climb them. I only wish they also came in a 9-12' height. I simply love the addition they make to my gardens.

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
The spirals come as two parts that have to be connected by sliding one end into the sleeve of the other. The web site does not mention that these are two pieces and all the other spirals I have bought are a single piece. Of a quality control note, the instructions on how to put the pieces together refer to the sleeve being on the bottom piece, when it is clearly on the top piece. Still, they look pretty enough in the garden and I think they will do okay for this year but I wonder how the two part design will stand up over time compared to the other single piece spirals that I have been using for 8 or 9 years.

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Best used for moderate support, not for heavy tomato plants. I use these for gladiolus (1/2 sections) and for dahlias. Would like to see them come with set of five short, straight extensions to make ten short as well as five 60". I've made my own extentions from the same gauge zinc rod. Sad to hear that the colors fade. Sand them lightly and repaint with high quality exterior grade enamal. That should solve that.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These are SO much better than the ugly and flimsy wire hoops! Add some fun and color to the garden!

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
The spirals really looked attractive in the late spring, but as the tomatoes began to set and ripen and the plants bushed out, the stakes simply are not up to the task, even with extensive tying.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
What a hit! I used the spiral supports in the center of a modified Japanese Tomato Ring design for pole beans, then a middle ring of compost, and then an outer ring using tomato ladders for tomato plants. They are doing great & look fun, too. Thanks Garden Supply Co.!

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
This is my first year with these and I loved how they looked early in the season, but the colors have faded from the sun, which greatly disappoints me. They aren't real good as the sole support for heavy tomato plants, but are working well for my Fortex pole beans.
I had trouble connecting a couple of them - they didn't seem to fit well, but we eventually got them to go together. The others went together with no problems.
I would wholeheartedly recommend these as a nice decorative functional product if they hadn't faded in color and were a little stronger.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I bought these colorful spiral supports last year, stored them over the winter and successfully used them in the garden again this year. I bought them originally for tomatoes, but used them for cucumber plants, as well. My garden is really a flower garden with just a few vegetables, so this was a perfect, fun addition and has received losts of kudos from neighbors and friends!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These add a nice touch of color in the veggie garden, especially as the blooms and spring colors begin to fade with the heat of summer. My kids especially like them! I have them in the sweet peas and they are perfect for the shorter variety that I planted (with that said, the option of putting the two halves in the ground was great!)
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I had trouble choosing between all of the tomato support options out there. I eventually decided to go with the tomato spirals because I wanted to save space in the garden. I'm very happy with my choice. they're easy to use and don't require that I tie the plant to the spiral. Just make sure it's growing up the middle and you're good to go! One note: it's important to make sure that you maintain only one growing stem when using these (as with other poles).
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These add a whimsical aspect to our dalhias and draw many many comments.

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These are not as strong as the single-piece ones, which are not available at Gardener's Supply (unfortunately), and they're thinner, too. They ARE very attractive, but the 5' height just doesn't work for enormous tomato plants. I'm using mine for secondary support of tomatoes, and for peppers. I imagine that I'll use them next year for vines, or blackberry support. I do not recommend them for primary tomato support, unless you're growing smaller plants.

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Spiral are the easiest way to keep tomatoes off the ground, and I've tried everything. The only problem with your spirals are that they are in two pieces. They were difficult to put together, and two of them were obstructed so that they couldn't be put together. Customer service was great, and they are sending me two more.

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
So pretty in the garden, but not very useful for potted plants. Each stake comes in two pieces and you can use just half in a pot. Made of iron (or something heavy duty) so needs to go deep into earth.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I use my rainbow spiral supports to hold up my tomato plants and they work great plus they add a little color to the garden. My husband calls it my "psychadelic garden".
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
The rainbow spiral supports are a fun addition to the garden- the colors are bright but not obnoxious. We used them to support the pea plants but they aren't clinging to the support. They are working better as a central support for the tomatoes. I really love them out there among all the green.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I am using these colorful spiral supports to hold up my tomatoes - so far they are doing great.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I am still in the first year of use, so I've not seen how the tomatoes I planted at the base of these supports will ultimately turn out, but so far things are looking good. I really like the vertical growth it provides for the tomatoes, but I think I liked these supports even better in the very early spring when I put them in the flower garden as whimsical accents! I've received many comments on them from neighbors passing by, and have really enjoyed the color they have added to my garden, in addition to their functionality.

I like the colors and the funky style. Wish they were taller to support my tomatoes
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
My green beans are loving these supports!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
The first time I saw the spirals and the way they were used I knew I had to have them in my garden too. The colors are attractive and the spiral design was quirky which add a great show stopper architectural design behind huge dalahias. What a better way to support large plants! Love'em!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I found them a bit difficult to get straight. I did have 2 pieces that didn't match in color. [...]
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I originally purchased the spirals to support the heads of my giant sunflowers and they were wonderful. The colors are bright and make a very cheerful note among the foliage. They support plants on smooth steel(no harm to stems and leaves) and it is easy to position the already big plants aroung the spiral. I experimented and tried first placing the spiral in the ground and then twining the plants around the spiral and also spiraling the support from the top of the plant and then pushing them into the soil. Both methods worked well.
I also have used them to support plants like fox glove and giant penstemon as they come up in the spring and reach that tender stage when they are tall but not full grown and sturdy and are vulerable to wind damage. I used only the bottom half of the spiral for this. When the plants were strong and standing away from the support, I removed them.
If you don't put the two parts of the spiral togther properly you end up with an upright spiral that that takes off at odd 45 degree angle at the joint half way to the top. These are whimisical to look at and can be used to direct a vine toward a new prop that is some distance away. (The spirals were not intended for this but it works.!) If you do put then togther improperly it is very easy to pull them apart and do it again right.
I have used the spirals for two years and the colors are still bright and true. I store them in the winter and they take up very little space.
The spirals make me smile every time I see them. I recommend them not only for plants that need suport but also for dour gardeners who need a cheerful lift.

I've used these to support tomatoes, peppers and other veges. I bought a second set even tho my first set is still usable this second season. A friend who was visiting asked me where I got them and I sent him your website.

Love the whimzi in the garden
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
This is a great product!!
I use them with my hanging Morning Glories - these allow them more space to crawl without going up the roof or gutters.
The only problem I have with it is that when the winds blow, the stakes won't stay upright and tend to lean; which is annoying when you have strings attached to several, and they get all tangled up.
I would suggest stabilizers on the bottom - maybe something that can be folded up when stake is not in use.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I usually use a square tomato cage but tried the rainbow spirals. They support the tomatoes just fine and people comment on the color in the tomato garden.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I chose these mainly to bring color and whimsy into the garden. The plants love them also, as they have begun to climb up the poles.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These spiral supports are amazing! They supported my tomato plants very well and looked so colorful in my garden.

An unusual "twist" for the average garden. The supports add interest.

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I incorporated my vegetable garden into my backyard landscaping. Therefore, I was looking for something fun and colorful in the garden for my tomato plants...this was a wonderful solution! I have had a lot of compliments on the simple touch of whimsical color it added to my garden patch.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
The colors are wonderful; they stand out no matter how you use them. No rust, no bends or kinks. I've used them for tomatoes, sweet peas, and morning glories. My neighbor recommended them originally; he has a set as well. The only negative I indicated is sometimes they don't go together easily (two pieces).

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
These whimsical spirals that give my roses and many
other plants in my garden a comfortable place to lean, bring a happy rainbow of color wherever they are. Bonus: they provide excellent support!
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Tomatoes with fruit on the vine are not too much for these supports. They are still standing straight and supporting the tomatoes perfectly. The fun colors add vibrancy to the garden. At the end of the season, I anticipate easy clean up and minimal storage space. I will be ordering more for next year!

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
The poles come in 2 parts and it was difficult to get them together. I used them in a raised bed garden and they did not go deep enough so they are leaning. I have supported them with a traditional wire cage to keep them from falling over. In a traditional garden where you could get them deep enough into the soil, they would probably work well.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I am using the spirals for my pole beans. They now are fun, take up less room than bush beans and I am getting better quality and quantity of beans.

Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
I love the way they look, but they come in two pieces. You have to fool with them a bit to get the pieces to come together right, and then they may come apart when you are transporting them back and forth at the beginning and end of season
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Not only great for tomatos, but I use this product to hold up my plants that hang over my walkways. Lots of neighbors have asked what they were because they are so colorful in my garden and they had never seen them before.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
This item is one of the best I've purchased from you. So absolutely cute in the garden--all the neighbors comment on them and they are absoultely a huge help. I just purchased a bunch more. I use them for tomatoes, beans, peas, and even the cukes.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
It adds a nice touch of color to the tomato patch.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Easy to put together; looked great; perfect for annual flowering vines.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Have these mounted vertically on a horizontal beam 6 ft off the ground to support hops. Looks like we're trying to contact outer space. Trouble connecting the two ends of the blue ones, though.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
Can be used to stake new plants or floppy ones, as tomato or bean stakes, or just stuck here and there for fun.
Comments about Rainbow Spiral Supports, Set of 5:
This product worked GREAT for my tomato plants!!
