We fell in love with these connectors when we tried them. No more struggling to tie bamboo to make a support — just insert the poles into the connector and the rubber fingers hold them tight. Then arrange the bamboo any way you like, because these flexible connectors can twist and turn. Made from weather-resistant rubber — similar to the material used for car radiator hoses — so you know it's durable. Connectors can accommodate bamboo canes or poles from 1/2" to 3/4" in diameter.

These work well once you use a pointed stick, pole, etc. to enlarge/pry the openings. I used some petroleum jelly but do NOT recommend this as the smaller end of bamboo pole can and will slip out easily.

I used these to support a temporary netting cage around a client's blueberry bushes.
Liked the way they made the netting easy to lift for harvest and replace without struggling with tangled bird netting.
Hated the color - couldn't they be black or neutral?
Also, until they stretch into the desired shape they tended to pull back into their orginial form, which made setting up a square cage challenging.
Would definitely use them again and recommend them.

This product worked great with the faux bamboo poles to create a cage to keep my blueberries safe from the birds. If you moisten the inside of the connector with a little water they are even easier to use.

What a pain - a real struggle to get the bamboo poles in (thanks for the hint from another reviewer about using soap) and then difficult to stabalize as a structure. I eventually gave up. They look like a great solution but I found them unworkable.

I used these to make a cage around my raised beds. Just drape some bird netting over your frame and it keeps critters out of your harvest. Come winter the whole thing can be taken apart and stored for next year!

Comments about Flexi-Connectors:
I use the bamboo poles with these connectors to make a frame over my blueberries. I add netting later once the berries begin. Though these connectors are stiff and I had to really work to get them on the poles, they work great. My poles never fall out now, even in very high winds. Saves me a lot of work.

Comments about Flexi-Connectors:
I used the three- and four-sided connectors to create a netted space for my blueberries. One side is the fence and the remaining sides are poles kept together by these connectors. On the fence side, I needed to connect to cyclone fencing, so I used some spherical connectors that were available a few years ago.
I have bought different types of connectors over the years. Each year gardener's supply seems to have different versions. So if you think you might want more, you probably need to buy them now. Oh well . .

Used a little liquid soap to help get the bamboo in the holes. It really helped.
