First time buyer and just planted this fall (2010) for next year so cannot advise on their ability to grow....HOWEVER...I ordered too many, so we did what one naturally does with garlic...ate the leftovers! This is some of the best garlic I've ever eaten! I cannot wait to harvest it next summer. Buy it to eat it! I'm not kidding.

This is an amazing garlic package. Each clove sprouted and came up in the spring, producing large bulbs. Upon harvesting and drying we began using both types right away raw, cooked and in canning dill pickles. Our neighbors, who were also making pickles asked us where we got such beautiful garlic! We felt we should share some, but not too much!

I plant both varieties to have fresh garlic year round. They store well when braided and grow beautifully. I love the snips of green on soft necks for a mild onion flavor. Resilient and drought tolerant! Stand up well in wind with stiff neck variety.

I LOVE garlic, so I thought I would try growing my own. I did not know there were more than one kind. Gardeners Supply educated me on their web site and I ordered two types of Certified Organic Garlic: Lorz Italian and Chesnok Red. Planted most of each and ate the rest comparing the flavors. Both are WONDERFUL. I can't wait til harvest next june/July!! Woo-hoo!

I won't be able to tell how this garlic will produce until next summer, but what I can say is that when it arrived, it was packaged well, the bulbs looked healthy, and they separated into MANY cloves so I hope to get a few dozen heads of garlic from the four bulbs that came with this order.

I bought your garlic last fall on our leaf peeping trip. We have grown garlic for many years , but yours was the best , by far . We planted in the fall and by July we harvested big beautiful bulbs that will take us into the winter. I only wish I had planted more.
