I use them on my deck, which is elevated, so easy to fill from the kitchen. I love herbs, it sprinkles nicely, gets down between the flowers so the roots get wet, the petals do not get burnt by hot sun. I like the 2 liter size bottle best. I would recommend them to anyone with arthritis, is older (like myself) not heavy to lug around. A satisfied buyer. Flower girl.

Works well with small, indoor plants, as the stream of water is rather limited. This can be a good thing, as you are not likely to overwater or have water slop out over the pot.

I use these to water my outdoor hanging garden and hanging plants. I love how well it allows me to focus the pour, but the 2 liter doesn't collect so well from the larger spout on my rain barrel. The product is great - I'd love one for a milk jug!

I like this item but wish the spout was adjustable up/down - the fixed angle makes it hard to water at different heights/levels. I end up holding the bottle itself and not the handle. Also wish the spout was a little smaller letting a smaller stream of water out when watering. All in all it's okay and will use just not everytime I water.

Watering cans are more expensive and many don't work on houseplants. This way I can have a water "can" for upstairs and downstairs. We don't drink a lot of liter size soda, waiting to empty one more!

I like that this product allows you to reuse plastic bottles. It's convenient for getting into small spaces and allows you to direct the watering. It's also handy if you want to use different liters- one with fertilizer and the other with water. That way, you can store the rest of the fertilizer for when you need it by replacing the liter cap and just changing out the spout.

These spouts really make it easy for me to reach my hanging plants and plants on difficult to reach ledges. My only problem is that since there is no air hole, the water kind of has to gurgle out at its' own pace. I have one of them on a 2 liter bottle, and one on a smaller bottle that is easier for me to reach up with.

I bought two of these to share with fifth graders who are growing seedlings to sell. I'm disappointed that the spout does not have an air hole, so it glugs as the water comes out.
It leaked at first, but I screwed it on tighter. Then it glugged.

Some might findthe flow rate too slow, but for jobs (like topping up water in the seedling trays) where you don't want gushes of water which may be hard to control, this works very well.

I store different solutions in bottles, then I just change the handle spout to the solution bottle that I want to use at that time.

I really like this product for watering my houseplants. The water goes where you want it not on the coffee table or plant stand. It is also nice to add plant fertilizer and put your finger over the opening to shake and mix the product. Lastly it is just the right size not too big and bulky, yet it holds enough water to do the job.

We have hard water and need to soak humidifier with vinigar. Hard to reach until we got this spout. It's Great, I like bright colors would have rather had red or orange, but green will work fine.

The cons say it all. Very awkward to use. Water went everywhere but in the pot. Won't use it inside again and it's too small to be practical for use outside.

The water does tend to "glug" out of the spout if you don't allow for air flow in while water goes out. To remain precise, air must go in as water exists.

This is such a great but simple idea, and inexpensive, too. I use it with a 2 litre soda bottle and can get all my houseplants watered without having to refill. It directs the water very well. I absolutely love it!

should cost less I think with a shorter spout it would work better on hanging plants it is very hard to lift it to water high up or hanging plants also it waters too slow and you have to squeeze the bottle to get going a little faster

I used a 2L. bottle, the bottle wanted to bend when pouring the water, making it difficult. Also there is no way for air to enter bottle making it difficult for water to leave bottle.

I like the look of these and the fact that I can recycle bottles. I put them in different rooms to keep handy. Without an air hole the water does pour slowly, but this really doesn't bother me. I only use them during the winter. The design is simple but sleek and the color does pop.

My children (4 and 6 years old) readily help me water the inside plants using 1/2 liter water bottles. I don't have to worry about water going everywhere, and they feel successful about helping. They are fun in the wading pool too.

I had a hard time finding a plastic bottle that would fit and ended up with a pretty small one. If I can find a larger bottle for the spout the rating would be better. For this reason I gave it a "difficult to use".

Use this with a sturdy 2ltr. bottle. Sometimes the bottle collapses in on itself from the vacuum formed by watering. Very easy to use for watering house plants.

This is a neat idea but it is kind of a bother to use. I cut a hole in the top of one side of the bottle so I wouldn't have to keep taking the spout off to fill the bottle.

Found that the soda container didn't hold up well, collapsed easily. Easier to use the soda container without the spout.

I carry a kitty litter pail with 4 pre-filled 2 liter bottles. I can control the volume of water each pot receives based on pot size, plant type and microclimate.

The spout is long and gets into the tightest spots. The only thing I don't like about it is that the bottle tips over easily when empty.
