Count down the days to Christmas with our woodsy cabin containing a menagerie of woodland animals. Twenty-three magnetic doors swing open to reveal a different animal each day: blue jay, chipmunk, rabbit, field mouse, moose, fox, goose, cardinal, bald eagle, mallard duck, owl, otter, raccoon, hedgehog, squirrel, skunk, frog, two deer, two bears and two wolves.     This advent is wonderful for animal and nature lovers! It is the perfect gift when you need something just a little special, something out-of-the-ordinary! We not only bought one for our daughter, but also for ourselves. We really looked forward to opening each door, and enjoyed it way past the Christmas season! Well worth the price!!

    I have a collection of advent calendars and this was a great addition. The animals are very cute and the cabin nicely decorated. It could be improved by allowing the cabin to light up -(transparent windows) and better sizing of the animals ( scaled by real size). All in all it is a very attractive advent calendar.

    We use the Woodland Cabin Advent Calendar beginning the first of December for our pleasure and the delight of our grands! A little learning about the creatures of the woods and that "circle of life" lesson is all good! Thing is, I was finding hidden birds and animals placed in and about my diningroom well into January! That too is good, a little smile during cleaning is a pleasure!

    My daughter and I fought over who got to open the door in the morning, and this year, our first, we never forgot a day. I bought my mother the bird church, and she loved that one, too. I had searched for a perfect advent pice for all of my daughter's 12 years, and we finally found it.

    Wouldn't recommend it for real little kids as the pieces could easily be lost, a good knock shifts everything around, and you wouldn't want to see the woodland friends later in a BM, if you know where I'm headed with that one.

    This was a gift, so I have not actually seen the little cabin. It was shipped to my nephew and his family last Christmas and they seemed pleased, but I can't vouch for anything else about it at this time.

    Definitely not heirloom quality. Cheaply painted and seems to be over-priced for what it really is. I bought it for a pre-wedding gift for my son and his bride-to-be, but was extremely disappointed. I would have rather paid more and had a better product.

    [...]. I was expecting something really nice for the price, but it arrived with one piece broken off and I was disappointed in the overall quality. The animals looked like something from the dollar store and the cabin itself was not much better. I should have returned it, but ended up keeping it since my daughter loved it.
