I purchased two sets to give to two grand daughters who have small children. It is a wonderful teaching tool for toddlers -- unbreakable and easy for little ones to handle. What better way to introduce babies to the Story of Christmas? A nice touch is the hinged gate. However, the sets came with different pieces missing. For example, in one set there was no Star -- a very important part of the story. Also, the animals were different. One had a camel; no camel in the other set. And so on-- I hope the mothers will be able to fill in the missing necessary pieces (especially the Star) and will use them often, especially during the holidays.

I collect nativities and had seen this one in an earlier catalog and loved it. Happened to see it on sale after Christmas and purchased. It is beautifully made and unique for my collection.

I read the reviews so thought I would give it to my engaged son and his fiancee to start a Christmas tradition-I was very disappointed when I received it-looks like it would cost about $5.00

This little nativity set is so unique and simple, I just love it. The only thing that was wrong with it when I got it was one of the sheep's ears broke off during shipping. I just stuck it back on with some gorilla glue and you can't even tell. Besides that, everything was just perfect. The whole set was affordable and is just super cute!

I ordered this nativity set after Christmas so look forward to setting it up next year for display. I opened it to take a look and when I was replacing the pieces inside the manger for storage one of the pieces of wood on the hinged door came unglued. However, the set is quite unique and would look very nice with hay placed beneath it as it has a rustic look. I have several nativity displays and this one is different.

It's exactly what I wanted (almost) . . . simple, rustic, light wood. Perfect for kids to play with and still looks beautiful on display. I've gotten a lot of compliments since it's not the typical nativity set.
However, I got 2 Angels and 2 Wisemen with the initial set. No problem. I called to get the missing "kneeling wiseman" sent to me, but was sent a second kneeling shepherd instead. I called a second time and explained that I was still missing a wiseman. I just opened the box they sent me and discovered a second kneeling Mary. I laughed! I'm calling and hoping the third time is the charm. The customer service people have been fantastic, but whoever is packing seems to not know the difference between the figures. (It wouldn't be right though to get frustrated over a nativity set, right? Ruins the whole point of the peace, joy and goodwill!)

My daughter wanted a simple nativity set and liked a very expensive "name" set (one piece cost more than this whole set). This set is so compact, self-stores and is not bright and gaudy. It can be used many places and be in good taste. I may buy one for myself.

I bought this nativity after shopping around for a long time. I had a large porcelain set that was just to big and bulky. I wanted something not breakable and not large. I've priced wooden carved nativities, some cost several hundred dollars. This fit my price range, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I have a rustic house and it fits perfectly.

I bought this for myself for Christmas. I had a porcelain set and it was just too big and bulky. I wanted something that wasn't going to break. It's very easy to set up, light weight, and its carved out of wood. I've checked out other nativities that are carved wood and they are several hundred dollars. For me, this set is perfect and it won't take up alot of room storing it either. Yes, it is made from light weight wood, but if you are looking for just a nice nativity that isn't going to set you back alot of money then you should consider this set. I love mine and I've been looking for a long time for just the right nativity. My house is rustic and it fits in perfectly.
