When the ground thaws in spring, plant the tree outdoors in zones 3-8 and it will mature into an 8 - 10' tree.

We needed a tiny tree since we spent Christmas in a small condo. The dwarf Alberta spruce was easy, festive and fun if a bit small. It was perfect on a countertop. The ormanments were somewhat difficult to rearrange. (I did redo the lights as well). It was a good price since it was on sale - I would not have been as pleased if I had paid full price. An extra bonus - it's growing! I will plant it outside soon.

Such a Perfect gift to brighten a room! The balsam fragrance was still intact and the woodland creature ornaments are delightful. Well packaged, and fresh on arrival. My mother wants to keep it year round! We will plant it outside in the spring. A few instructions on care and watering would be helpful.

This was a special Christmas gift for my 92 year old Mom who has difficulty walking, even with a walker and who loves Christmas. This live tree was placed on her kitchen table--where she could see it all day. She loved all the little animal ornaments! She thanked us so many times--I know it brightened all her days over the holidays.

The tree looked nothing like the photo. It was horribly misshapen - it had no 'good side'. It also did not have the lights it was supposed to have. [...] The tree was a complete disappointment and waste of money, and I would never buy another one. You shouldn't either.

I sent this to my mother who is VERY fussy and can no longer decorate for Christmas and she absoltely loved it. She thought the little anilmals were just beautiful and has already picked a place in her yard to plant it. Plus it was very easy for her to just plug it in. I ordered this for a friend who takes care of his mother. He called it a darling little tree. Though it took a week to arrive, it was very much alive. He said the ornaments are beautiful. The lights brightened the room that was darkening as the sun was setting. He and his mother will enjoy it throughout the season, and I'm certain he will plant the tree when the time is right.
