So far it hasn't bloomed, but I'm glad because I figured it would have bloomed while I was gone and I'd hve nothing when I got home.

I bought an amaryllis for my mother for Christmas. She reports to me that it has done NOTHING. Very disappointing as I have been fairly well satisfied in the past but, as of now, I will not be purchasing anything from you in the future.

This amarylis came from a friend as a gift. One flower stalk came up and bloomed. Then when it was withering another second one came up and bloomed and then a third one... and a fourth one....It bloomed for about 3 months nonstop...and this was one of the standard varieties I was told.

The Amarylis have been a big disappointment. They arrived with no identification so I have no idea which package is which flower and they did not have the first bit of growth on them even though I was told they would bloom right around Christmas. I have had them since around Thanksgiving and one of them has now grown to about 10" tall and the other two have buds on them at 2" tall!!! They have all been treated the same way since they arrived. Definitely would not buy amarylis again from this company

The Amaryllis flowers are huge, and have beautiful rich colors. I saw the one I sent my father-in-law last year in April. He does live in Florida but it was beautiful. Sent my Mom one this year so I can see more often.

If these are blooming by Xmas i will be very surprised. Also, little flies appeared after I watered them. The flies are still here (week 2) and may be reproducing. I did NOT contract for an insect infestation, and will not place the pots in my living room or dining room - if the flowers ever come, who needs little flies flitting around.

I bought three -2 Christmas gifts and 1 for myself. It has been great fun. Mine(Charisma)just bloomed-5 gorgeous blooms with another shoot coming up - Never did get any leaves on it. The other 2 (Red Pearl and Picotee) bloomed also and the receipients loved them. I received them in November and it did take about 2 months to bloom. Be patient - you will be rewarded!

I put the bulbs in a greenhouse but they have barely started to send up leaves. I moved them into the house into the window where I grow my orchids this weekend to see if they will do better there. I have bought amarillis before and they normally pop up quicker then these have.
